Superb work mate, really helpful and appreciated. Would love the same analysis on an e9 if you could. In fact this type of a guide would be great for all the 70’s, 80’s Classic BMW’s.
You know what you are talking about, on a m635csi the engine work is also high maintenance. People think this is a cheap car it’s not, It was high in the 80’s
Any tire that’s old even with new tread needs to be replaced if you are gonna drive the car. Hence why so many 90s Vipers get into accidents. If I had an e24 I would just throw a set of alpina wheels and wrap them in Michelin PS4 or even Michelin A/S just because I hate how summer tires handle under 50F not that I would drive her in the snow or salt. Imo all older Bmw and Bmw M cars benefit from front strut bar. This helps with strut tower from splitting or cracking. It also looks good and helps slightly with handling.
Wish I had seen this before buying mine!!! However a manual 628csi in schwarz was very difficult to find. I checked how many left and there was only 7 and mine is possibly the only black one!
I've seen the first part and now i realise this is not a content for someone who can use a screw and a spanner. LoL talking about keeping the original brand tires Michelin Gtx - like in the past 20 years the tyre technology has moved light years, I just can't watch this with a straight face
This chap knows a thing or two on E24s
