I'm thinking about grabbing one of these for my mother, either this unit or the U6H, which will be about $130 more and is not on available yet. U6H has local dimming and weights about 5 pounds more. Worth the extra $130?
that looks like it could be a decent TV for a lot of people who are on tight budgets. Hisense TV's have gotten really good over the past few years. As a matter of fact I have a Hisense TV that I bought years ago before the brand became really popular like it is now.
Pick up this tv at best buy for 259 and for the price it is really nice. Sure it does not have all the bells and whistles and high peak brightnes, and color pop. I'm on a tight budget. I do like the variable fresh rate on it , even if it's just native 60 hertz. Once again thanx Tech Steve. Keep up the great reviews. 👍 Money well spent.

This review influenced me to some degree. Big Samsung and LG fan with ownership, but my wife picked up a small Hisense for her office, and I was impressed with the picture quality. Not too many features for $99, but wow! I just purchased the 50 inch A6H. It is more than great. I'll leave it right there. I wanted to find the K model, but the H is outstanding. All the specs and gee wiz stuff has its place, but seeing is believing. I was a name brand guy, but no more. For the price, this thing is fantastic to my ears and eyes. I am sure a ULED and QLED might edge this out, but maybe a few years down the road before I invest.
I'm so excited for Christmas this year! I bought this TV on black Friday for my twin brother whose been using a 32 smart tv for the last 7 or 8 years! I really hope it's a good tv for the price and that my brother will enjoy it thoroughly 🙏🏻! The image quality is great for the price you're actually paying. The TVs pretty quick and responsive when using the remote, though sometimes I have noticed a bit of an input lag, but honestly nothing to bad. The sound quality out of the TV is good as well. It can also connect to wireless Bluetooth headphones which is super handy! The TV UI is not the best but it's definitely not the worst I've used, for what you pay it's definitely not bad. My favorite feature on the homescreen is it puts up a watch history of anything you've watched recently across and streaming apps (UA-cam, disney+, Netflix etc.). Which is super nice to be able to resume your spot in shows or movies on any app, I've never seen a feature where you could do this on any other device. All in all I'd say I'm completely satisfied with my purchase, it's a great TV, not top of the line, but for the price your paying it's definitely a great budget TV, especially for the larger screen sizes! I'd say definitely go for it and give it a try!
its really hit or miss with hisense. my two year old hisense has had some glitches but now it works great. versus my tcl roku has never gave me problems.

you dont need to have an high end tv its just an tv, As long as movies look good and color is ok i am fine i dont need to spend 700 plus for an tv since i have an fucken life unlike others

I think it'll probably be the same VIDAA U 5 as last year, but the performance should be quiet similar. It does look a lot like last years A6G model. I do love your videos and reviews. For some reason, I'm having trouble with my PS5 running 4K/60hz with HDR it only lets me use 1080p/60hz with HDR (best buy advertised it to run 4K/60Hz with dolby vision which is HDR so????) Anyways! I am enjoying it so far for a budget TV, according to what I found online it is an IPS direct-lit panel
I had the same issue. You should press the menu button on the remote control ( above the Netflix button ) while the ps5 on, and go to the HDMI format option and select enhanced format. You will play 4k 60fps hdr with also VRR on ps5, that will do it.
I have some questions I plan on buying the 65 inch version like you are have is it a good TV I know it does VR are I don't care about 120 frames long as it has motion flow or motion rate of 120

I got the Hisense 55’ amazon one during the pandemic. Loved it until it started turning off and on while I was watching a movie or a GAME! Called customer service and did all the things they said to fix it. Didn’t work. And then she tells me to go to a tv repair shop. These tv’s don’t last. And customer service sucks.

This tv looks beautiful in person. It’s just a bit worrisome with it being a Hisense. With the price though. It might be worth the gamble

It’s technical, you need to buy a kit and software and it will cost around $400 for a beginner kit. You’re better off using a 4K Apple TV and a iPhone

poor unfortunately. Outside of that, very good for the price.
Where is the microphone? Can you remove it?
The two USB ports are too close, so if you want to connect two USB sticks at the same time, is very difficult :(
I agree that's too squeezed, especially if one has two thick USB drives.
