Hey Tech Steve, love the review of the U6H. But I have my eyes set on the U8H. I hope you do a review on that one as I am hearing some really great things about it. But I also read that it is only an 8 bit panel. Can’t confirm that on Hisense’s website though. Maybe you can find out. Also, it would be helpful to some of us if you can measure the distance of the legs/feet of the stand to help determine if the HDTV can fit on top of narrow TV stands (which also couldn’t be found on their website). Thanks again for your reviews. Take care.
Hi steve, I'm thinking about lg c1 48 inch and sony A9S. Please make a video asap.
I just sent you a message on What’s App!!!

If you're poor and always had an old style TV like me, you'll be amazed and thrilled with this one, and all the fun features it has plus it was cheap enough to actually get a 65"! Thanks for the review!
You’re welcome ✌🏽
Facts👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Has it held up properly after 9 months?
So true!
Love your content Steve! I’ve been considering this TV among others and you came just in time with a review. Thanks a lot! 😊
You’re welcome
Thanks Steve. I bought a Sony x900F, and was disappointed. I bought that Hisense, after viewing your videos. Love this television. As for the Sony, I was offered a $200 discount to keep it. Now I have two 65 inch tvs.
Hi Steve, could you please make a video on the best calibration settings for best picture for the Hisense U6H?
Sorry I’m not a calibrator
I just got the U8H 55 inch for $549 it is super amazing good videos Steve 💯👍🏾
Where did you find it for that price?

This will be my 2nd Hisense, I just hope it does casting to the tv like my first one that bit the dust last week
Too bad the quality of dirty/dead pixels is very bad. Quality control is very bad. I had to return the Hisense TV the same day and exchanged for an LG uq9000 which I am very satisfied.
Good to know, thanks for sharing
I purchased a 43 inch U6H 6 months ago based on reviews on UA-cam and am really disappointed. I have other TV sets, i.e. LG, Insignia et al and have had very good luck in getting a very good TV. This Hisense is always a disappointment as i think it will be better than it is. I am probably going to ditch this set and get another LG or Samsung or even possible an Insignia again. The main problem is too much back light-bleed through and over saturation which to my tired eyes seems overkill. I attempted to try various routes to alleviate the matter and none worked that satisfied me. Also the screen is too light reflective and hard to see in lighted areas. One must almost view it head on to get a good picture. I am sorry I purchased it and will probably not get another of this brand.
Would you go with the u6h or the samsung Q60A? Thanks
Hi, I would like to ask please help me make choice between hisense U6 series 2022 vs U7qf
Without comparison videos people would be guessing unless spec matters more
Has anyone done a review on the new TCL R655 series?
Is this better than the tcl series 5? I have the 50” version rn and was looking for a affordable 65”. The series 5 has a action smoothing feature which I love and wanted to ask if this tv has anything like that
We’re some of the rare ppl who like that effect

Got mine delivered Friday I'm enjoying it I'm probably going to eventually upgrade to the u8h I'm actually impressed by how loud it is
The u8h is fire I have the 75 in my living room. I'm thinking of getting this for my room. How do you like it? Is it worth it for the price?
Not a good TV IMO. The picture quality was so bad that I returned it. No matter what I did everything looked like a soap opera, or like an old Doctor Who episode. There are extensive settings designed to help with this issue presumably, but I never found a combination that didn't look weird. Also, the unit I got was defective and emitted loud thumps when the TV was turned off. So loud they woke me up more than once. I'm glad I returned it
Stay away from Highsense- there is a reason they are so cheap.
This TV comes to life when viewing HDR content. I've had this beautiful tv for 3 days now and love it.
Na I just got this tv the picture quality is disappointing most likely I’m returning it
Are you using high quality steaming services
@@TechSteve yes I have an Apple TV 4K I tried different shows on Dolby vision . Maybe my old Hisense H9E plus from 2018 was just better and I was expecting more from the new one

I am an unfortunate owner of Hisense Tornado 50 inch TV and the panel has got complaint within 1 year of purchase (my model comes with a 5 year warranty). I have contacted customer care and raised a complaint on 10.10.2022 and till date I haven't got the panel replaced. Customer care personnels are very polite and does their job well. But that does not make any difference. So I suggest you all that , if you are going for budget brands it's fine only if you are planning to purchase a 'Use and Throw' product. if you are planning to have a TV that lasts for many years with best service support then don't go for brands like these.
Atlast after a long follow up. I am lucky to have my complaint TV replaced with a brand new TV on 19.11.2022. Thanks Hisense Team.😀
I thought I would take a chance and buy the 75 inch. It was 800 dollars at Bestbuy. Beautiful picture and bright scene's. Horrible in a dark room. Picture was unwatchable, spent two days calibrating it and nothing. On bright scenes amazing. Viewing angles were Horrible. Took it back to Bestbuy and got an open box LG C1 65 inch. Could not be happier with the C1. Hisense uniformity on dark scenes was Horrible. Light bleed black bars were supper light gray. Pay more and get a better tv.
Because of this review I bought the Hisense 55-in U8K what a piece of junk The guy is very difficult to use the remote is confusing there's no screen mirroring without Wi-Fi take your $900 elsewhere I don't like Samsung I don't like their customer service but if you want Wi-Fi direct screen mirroring that's the only one that has it and. LG
Hi Steve which one would you recommend between U6H or TCL 5? I can't decide which I'm gonna buy. Thanks!
I just ordered 55 inches tv. Your video is excellent, very useful, one of the best I ever saw on UA-cam. Thank you for your time and work to make it.
Thanks
It’s amazing to me this company is still in business. Their reviews are terrible and I should have researched them before buying. I made the mistake of buying one of their TVs. It turns itself on randomly. It always signs me out of my apps. I’m forced to watch stuff I don’t want because there are times when the TV doesn’t respond to the remote ( yes the batteries work). It takes forever for the TV to load anything. Then there are times when the app just loops and never loads. I have a TV that’s almost 10 years old and it works way better then my 10 month old crappy Hisense.
Which one do you have?
Finally someone has the wit to bring up Highsense quality. Thanks. They suck.
I wouldn’t recommend this tv picture quality is disappointing . It also has color glitches when watching on Dolby vision
Great review. Now we need the hisense u6h vs lg uq7590. They both are the same price at best buy. I have a feeling the lg uq7590 would win that Match!

@@TheFire1202 Go with the U6gr. Better than the u6h and the u6g. U7h is better than both of those.
If you're really on a tight budget, this is a great option.
But the U7H and now the U7K are substantial improvements for just a little more money. The U7H/U7K gets quite a bit brighter, it has more dimming zones, it has an ATSC 3.0 tuner, and it can do 4K 120Hz for gaming.
Which is the better operating system, Roku tv or Google tv ? Since the Hisense higher end tv only offer google tv and not Roku. Is the navigation switching between cable tv and streaming apps on google tv as easy as on Roku? Which operating system is preferred today?
This Hisense tv is nonsense. It only has 3 HDMI inputs, one is devoted to ARC. Today, that's not enough inputs. But, if you are using Amazon FireStick, you can't set up the TV to default to the FireStick. The Google default is awful.
Ok, I thought I showed 4 HDMI ? Did you watch the video? The Samsung TU7000 is around the same price with only 2 HDMI inputs
I have the Vizio M 2021 in my living room, but thinking about replacing it with the Hisense U6H. I like the way you can hook up Atmos soundbar.

Hi tech steve(sir) why do tv companies make the ports far inside behind of the tv? Some even put the usb port right behind the tv to the point of been inaccessible if you wall mount it.it would be better to have it on the side and just two inches right from the side.
Hi Steve, just swapped an Insignia F30 for the Hisense U6H based on all the hype, honestly not seeing a difference, maybe worse, is there some basic settings i should look for or change also i watch a lot of sports... Thx

Persuaded my mom to buy this TV based on my experience with my U6G. She did not get the same quality TV. Everything is great till you watch streaming apps in Dolby vision and HDR10. Picture is worse than normal TV viewing. Very dark and smokey Picture. Not sure if defective panel or what but now I'm pushing the Sony X75K. More expensive but it's a sony...

Which model did that happen to that you owned?
Hisense r6 4k run 58 inch
Oh yeah that part of there old line up, they are much be now with Google TV and Amazon fire models. I love Roku but it seems like newer or rebranded companies where using Roku not so much anymore I think due to limitations. But you should always buy what makes you happy.
@@TechSteve old line last year still not good tvs
It’s just a matter of personal opinion and experience. I’ve heard it all… good and bad about every brand. Hisense supports the channel but I understand about your personal experience. I can only say consider buying extended warranties but things are not built like they were before but they don’t cost the same either. I remember giving a friend my old Samsung 1080p TV that was basic in every way that cost me $2000 for a 50” so it’s that.
Hi Steve I currently have a 70" 4K UHD Hisense Android Smart TV (2020), my issue when I try to cut the tv on manually the red light flashes & it won’t turn on. Even after a soft reset with unplugging so my question is, is there a way to factory reset without a screen since I’m unable to see my settings
You would have to search google
Which is better, this Hisense U6H or TCL s546?
U6H or Samsung TU7000? Does Quantum Dot make Hisense that much better? Is the remote on Hisense bluetooth, and will a universal remote work on it?
I bought the TU7000 two days ago and returned it today as the picture was not clear. I exchanged it for the U6H and it's such a major improvement in clarity. U6H has a much better screen and 4 HDMI inputs vs 2 for the Samsung.

This TV or the TCL series 5 both about the same price
I'm wondering the same thing I just picked up the s546 from Best buy and thought I should return it and pick this one up instead.
I think for the small differences you would not really feel much difference and the thing with the peak brightness on this is that it only goes that high brightness for a very few seconds in a tv show for just a short burst during an explosion etc
Hi Steve, Can you compare this to Hisense U6GS. Which is better?
I wish i had random TVs laying around

So would you say sdr doesn’t get bright enough to enjoy? Even in a bright room that has windows?
It gets bright enough but glare is something that you can’t avoid, budget TVs don’t have good anti glare, only expensive qled and OLEDs have it.

I hate the new Dolby/hdr vision settings in this version the U6G had theater day and night while the U6H got rid of it for Dolby vision IQ, dark, and custom? Like come on besides that it’s good but blooming on the 75 is bleh. Good overall tho…
do all sizes support ATSC 3.0 next gen tuner ?... need to know before buying
This TV don’t have that tuner you need a 7 series
Why say 1080p at 120hz might not be that great because it’s a native 60hz screen?
It is a native 120hz tv at 1080p. Screens have for the longest allowed higher refresh at lower pixels. 20yrs ago with CRT monitors you could run lower resolutions at higher refresh.
Unless this screen is using acceleration to create a fake 120. My best guess is the screen is refreshing at 120 due to the 75% less pixel count at 1080p.
Hey, Steve! Loving your content. When I turn off motion enhancements on this TV, it still kind of has soap opera effect. Do you have any suggestions on how to better match the intended motion of a typical 24fps product?
Not at the this point, I’ve moved on to the next project. I use high 4k or streaming content. Low resolution sources the TV has to upscale and that causes alot of judder. I’m using UA-cam TV it’s clean and clear

Steve! Love my tv, BUT, I can’t figure out how to stop it from speaking search results. I already turned off talkback, so that’s not the issue. Help!
Update: Ordered a new one and it works properly. Apparently some panels are going to be unlucky but seeing everything is as it should be, this makes for an excellent tv!
Original: Do NOT buy this TV. I just had it delivered from Walmart and the package was in great shape. However, when I turn it on, I can’t even get through the setup screen. There seems to be a WiFi bug that many Hisense users are going through. The TV reatarts itself mid setup and won’t connect to WiFi. Many users say they can use the TV on basic mode without WiFi, and just buy a Firestick/Chromecast…. i’m just not willing to have an issue like that with a brand new TV. Returning immediately.
Well, some people use old wifi units the simplest fix is to upgrade or update the firmware. I know i have very new and updated equipment so i never see any of these issue but it’s easy just to ask for help. Plus you never know what happens during shipping. If it was a bad TV I would report issues that I see

Motion rate term is a scam. Why can't they just say what the true hz is. 240hz =120
I'm having a hard time deciding between this one or the 65" U7H. Guess i need to watch the comparison.
