#warlordgames #waterloo #epicbattleswaterloo This video are my thoughts on Warlord Games' Epic Battles - Waterloo done as I built my Epic Battles demo set.
Thanks to Warlord Games and their black powder epic battles system, I started my adventure with Napoleonic Wars. All the pluses you listed in the video just convinced me to do it 😉
Adler 6mm. Details are as good as the Warlord plastic 12mm and their range is much more complete. Cheaper and easier to paint. En masse they look better. Looks like a real battle and you can do much smaller unit footprints. With 6mm it’s easier to fit the full battle on a 6 by 4 or 8 by 6. There. Lobbying over!
Staggers me gamers focus on the Waterloo battle when having 2 armies and heap of terrain can make many random non historical battles on the fly. Also not sure why but gamers are used to sci fi games packages that have rules and figures as a marriage ,lets say. Napoleonics is historical non fiction and any scale can be any set of rules from any one . I found Americans trend towards ACW and UK towards Napoleonics (yeh yeh both do either but on a Pie chart I mean ). The other trouble is the metal companies of other scales havnt created the hype for their own stuff. Finally a note . To make a regiment on one sprue frame, accidentally created the 13mm size on the Plastic mold ,made of metal, stamp) that cost GBP20k !!

I agree with the spraying and playing.
