•Water wipes
•Nappy newborn size
•Nappy balm
• Snacks
• hair ties /hair band (you'll want you hair out the way even as a hijabi you may remove you hijab as it can get in the way)
•pain killers
If you can't keep food in n keep vomiting when contractions start, ask you midwife to give you anti vomit so you can snack light n have energy (had tea n light salted crisp)
Take painkiller n try to nap through the 2nd phase contractions (I got like 40min -1hr nap waking up to many contractions in between n then woke up to the push contractions)
Talking from my experience from England, so may be your hospital gives thing to use.

When I went to the hospital I just brought a change of clothes for when I go home, 2 outfits for baby, a phone charger, and nothing else. They had everything else for me, pads, toothbrush, and things like that. I even forgot to pack for my husband 🤦♀️, but he handled himself well we only stayed for 2 days.

@@AnjumAyah uhm you'll find out naturally in a few years or ask your parents but they're basically like sponges/tissues for women to use during menstruation

same!!! well I packed a robe and underwears but I end up just staying with the hospitals gowns and their underwear…

I would recommend a bottle with straw to sip water while in labor. Dates and zam zam.
Socks for you because it can get cold.

Sometimes preparing doesn’t make any difference because there is so much going on. I don’t think you’re missing anything. Baby gets everything from hospital so what you packed should be enough. May Allah make your delivery easy and successful.

my husband filmed my whole c-section since i couldn't see anything since they put a curtain up and it was so cool to look back on. Like wow I was awake and getting a whole surgery!! Lol

Assalam alaikom Omaya, mashallah, Allahumma yesser w yferrej 3aleiki inchAllah.
Something that helped me during my hospital stay (in italy), were some washable breastfeeding pads especially when the milk comes in after the colostrum, an image of baby feedind cues, some marigold ointment for the sore area down there, a comb to release contractions, something for me and the husband to eat while in labor, a playlist with sura Maryam (19), sura Inshiqaq (84), and ayat al Kursi, and also a list with duas for other people to make while in labor.
For the baby we decided to delay the classic bathing with water and detergent, instead we just dried them with a cotton cloth, after some days we used rice starch with water to "clean" them.
We brought some dates too, for the Tahneek. Be careful, I bit from the pulp without the peel and chewed it first and then placed it in the palate (it was as small as a grain rice).

O Allah, an easy task is only that which you make easy, and you make the difficult easy when you wish.
1 more outfit for the husband as his clothes can get napaak (impure)
After delivery n baby is clean he can simply change n then do his salat
Take some epsom salt for a bath soak at the hospital after delivery care and your body will be sore and in pain after delivery. you can ask for a message at the hospital and hopefully they provide at your hospital.
May Allah’s make it easy for you .
I would also bring some dates and snacks - can help with both labor (if they allow you) and breastfeeding

I wouldn't take too many things , it's the hospital, it's yucky, it will just mean more laundry very soon. I just take 1 pair of clothes for me, 2 for baby, a blanket for baby, that's it. But for my first , due to lack of experience and anxiety, I did pack too much. But didn't use anything except my clothes and 1 pair of clothes for baby

You really don’t need a lot of things in the bag. Hospital provides 80% of what you need

May Allah make it easy for you. I would bring dates. Also I don’t know if you ever heard of kaff maryam. This is a plant some people swear by helps during labour.

Please do a realistic week with a newborn. I would love to see other moms experience the good and the not so easy. Especially with the nighttime sleep lol and we don’t see many of those videos around. I just had my son 4 weeks ago and it’s the biggest blessing wallah but it isn’t easy and that’s normal. I wish more people would show that
