This is bringing back so many memories. I may have been born in 1990 but my Dad mad sure I saw all of the Thunderbirds. I'm sure there is a picture of me as a young child wearing the Thunderbird uniform somewhere in a photo album! My favourite episode had to be Path of Destruction with the Crablogger. Good times.
Path Of Destruction is also my favorite classic episode, also Ring Of Fire Part 1 is my favorite TAG episode 😂 I prefer TAG, tho, but this OG series is also great!! 😂
back in 2014 there was a landslide that destroyed ski jump ramps in Erzurum, Turkey. It was sad because they were hoping to host the Winter Olympic games there someday. Why did it fall? They forgot to build foundations
Yeah that tractor is a true wonder to me, not only because of its sheer strength, probably because in the show atomic engines are overpowered, but also because of it size! Comparing it to the empire state building, that monster must at least be 300 meters tall!
This scene really makes me wonder today, first that atomic tractor, it must have amazing strength to move the empire state building that fast, and comparing it to the building it must be at least 300 meters tall! Another thing that got me wondering is how did the building not fall when they removed its foundations to place it on rails?

That's my favourite episode, too
I was born in the 2000s and a really feel lucky to know that such an amazing show exists

@@plazasta I'm also born in the 2000s
1:41 is one of my favourite melodies of all time from the series.
same including the Zero-X assembly theme the Crablogger theme and the Martain Space Probe getting transported theme
all that technology and no one checked the foundations

Just as in real life (just look up noord-zuidlijn amsterdam)
we cant knock down the old empire state can we?
forgets foundations
building falls
Well Shi......
I can honestly say the same thing, good to know I wasn't the only one.
This was my favorite episode as a kid. The destruction of the empire state building always left a big impression on me.
ironic: this could never appear on TV today (not after 9/11) but it's one of my favorite episodes
It was pulled from airing reruns of this episode after the 9/11 incident.
@@not.supermario Howcome?
A building falling into a giant sinkhole - the sinkhole at the Corvette museum proves anew truth can be at least as crazy as fiction.
Good grief ! When did this happen ? ...I was up on the 90th floor only the other week !
Phew !
2065
What’s on the 90th floor I thought you could only go to the 86th😵💫
How big must that vehicle be? it's half the size of the Empire State Building!
Boxyno1 it is half of the size of the empire State building
Edit: About 500 meters I guess?
548.754 metres to be exact 😅
After seeing this, it makes me wonder how the heck can it be possible for something to move a building that weighs 360,000 square tons. It's insane.

plazasta True.
MegamanNG square tons?!

YEAAAAAHHH
Episode's name is "Terror in New York City", and it features a famous skyscraper collapsing in NY...

The mighty atom - 15 years before Chenobyl and represents the full danger of a Nuclear reactor disaster..
Kyle Broflovski So Gerry Anderson somehow predicted/foreshadowed some glimpses of the future?
wikiuser92 Coincedences I guess. Or very good guessing.
Exept hundreads of movies have scenes like that
and Trapped in the Sky features a bomb on a plane
🤔Did they rebuild it 💪🏻

The length of a Ocean Liner at least that atomic machine!
Phoe my god how long would it take in real for a building this big?
3:01-3:28 sounded the best to me.
I'm born in New York in United States but I'm living in new Zealand right now
I always wondered how sore Tintins arse was after all the Tracy boys had been through her.
RIP who died in the 9/11 19 years ago😭😭😭 BTW I'm from New York City, New York, USA 🗽🇺🇸
