I guess the holes in the top plate are fairly small, but maybe for frequent swapping some removable push rivets could be worth investigating? Of course they would need to be easily popped out/reused & more importantly would have to look at least ok!
Vnm has an adaptor for regular knobs. Don't forget to mention the switch in the back so you can go from SQ to H pattern. Only loadcell handbrakes offer the same amount of adjustment pedals have. If you look on YT, you can add a stronger spring so the shifter feels even better. Just search vnm shifter mod. I'm glad you like them they are great. FYI, inside the handbrake, you have a small switch on the right side. Make sure you don't move it. it's a vnm mode of some sort, and it acts like the handbrake isnt connected. Ask me why I know, lol.
Thank you, my friend! You know so much about the VNM products! I wish you'd make a review with mods and all the knowledge you have. Had no clue about the switch inside the brake.
@Thoritis Sim Garage sorry I don't know how to film and I wouldn't want to be on YT anyways ahhaha. For the switch if you open the right side panel youll see it in the back. If you decide to try a different spring you'll see it just make sure you remember where it's at so you don't change its position. I don't remember the msg on the vnm software but I do know your PC won't recognize the handbrake
@Thoritis Sim Garage I'll add that I wish VNM had better instructions and manuals the cheap single photocopy doesn't do the product justice but they are Vietnamese company just wish you didn't get a Chinese style instruction lol
@@taxi615 👍I don't know how to film either! You have a lot of valuable knowledge and opinions that the sim commnunity could benefit from. You don't have to show your face. Use your cell phone. I'd subscribe to your channel!
I'm so glad I did. Before I received the VNM stuff I had sold my Fanatec stuff. Was a little concerned that maybe I made the wrong choice until I started unboxing. It only got better from there. I've watched a lot of your videos (excellent btw) and if you are on the fence about it, I'd recommend them. But you have to remember that I can only compare them to Fanatec.
Those both look crazy nice and a good fit for their surroundings. Have fun!
I am! Thank you!

That is an excellent idea! Probably plastic on this version so you wouldn't damage the threads.

Great job on the review! I've wondered if it's worth upgrading from my Fanatec Shifter.
Thank you!

So it feels ever so slightly better, costs more, and you have to swap plates? Doesn't seem like a good deal to me.
We all have opinions.
