@@mattcruz5915 Yes! They have a Caddy+ feature (that I think is only in Premium) that uses GPS to track your shots and gives you club recommendations. It's pretty cool!
The Golf Canada website has game trackers that I use as I input my stats (number of puts, and hole by hole scores). I wouldn't say it helps but it identifies where I'm scoring and not scoring. as a 4 index player, all my scores are made on the greens
I played this course by myself on a trip with friends that did not play golf and it is absolutely the most beautiful course I've ever played. I hit driver off the back tee with crazy wind and waves crashing on the par 3 and I remember the hole was cut about were it was for you and I was just on the back fringe and made an easy par. I shot a 79 that day with no birdies. That was around the year 1993 or 94. That place is like a dream. There were I believe 3 courses in that area on the Big Island, and it cost $90 to play 18 and if you played a second 18 it was $20. So I did 36 3 days in a row. I videotaped it but somehow lost the video but yours is better so thank you. I stayed at the Mauna Lani resort for $350 a night with an inside garden as my view. I heard that Tom Cruise and his wife were staying in the bungalows there which were $1400 a night. Ha BTW You look so beautiful and so sweet in this video.
Big Mahalo's to you Paige for coming to my island home and sharing your experience with the whole world! This much beauty cannot be kept a secret...I'm glad you enjoyed your time on the Big Island of Hawai'i!
I stumbled upon these instructional videos by accident, and I'm finding them interesting and helpful. The most helpful aspect is just watching you swing. I watch that over and over again, and then when I get on the range I try to do the same thing. It really helps. Thank you.
Played this course a few months ago when my wife visited the Big Island. Absolutely beautiful course! I didn't even care how lousy I played...the views more than made up for it. And the service at the course was excellent! I highly recommend this course to anyone going to the Big Island!
Paige, I've played that hole many, many times. But it has never looked as stunning as when you are on it. Mahalo for letting us join you! Hope you guys are having a great time in the islands. Aloha
ooh the lava rocks surrounding the course is a beautiful contrast to the green! the most photographed hole is a great idea for a new golf course painting! thanks! :D
@@yilo90 if Hugh was still around I'd say God no but now that he is gone thankfully yes. That man is just the worst person ever what he did to those girls, watch the documentary on him. It's mind blowing what he has done.
As a novice, late bloomer golfer....courses as beautiful, and challenging as this....no longer intimidate me....although i too would be distracted by that last hole....omg....and i thought local ponds and rivers were a water hazard! Your swing is effortless. New subscriber, looking fwd to learning more about golf....technique, equipment, scenic courses.
The view is indeed look amazing, but you look even better than the view. and by the way you look much better without the glasses on. Keep up on making the videos, it is so entertaining and helpful. ::)
Don't judge me, I stumbled on your videos with your golf edicit segment. Saw you and was like, ok what's this young, kinda skimpily dressed gal have to say on edicit. Your swing won me over, then the recognition you made about how you dress and knowing when it's ok and when it's not. You're awesome, keep it up
First time viewer P, definitely a fan, you played that first hole beautifully. Cannot wait to watch more of your natural talent and honed skill. Your well on your way to a very satisfying, exhilirating career in all of your life pursuits. Keep well and stay humble. Cheers
Played this course a while ago. Took a picture on the 15th. Sent it to my friend on the East Coast. BTW, it was February. Mauna Lani is spectacular. Its hard to play because its so beautiful. Afterwards I flew over to Kauai and played Poipu then back to Oahu and played Kapolei. It was a great weekend of golf.
#15 Mauna Lani for sure a beautiful hole played it many times ,, next time your in the hood right up the coast about 30 min is Mauna Kea resort hole #3 par 3 almost identical over the water and about the same yardage but the green is about half the size and uphill from the Tee box ,, definitely a 50/50 hole lol ,, happy u got to experience Big Island Golf some of the best in the world for sure ,,
Yes, prettiest. And the golf course is well designed. Never been to Maui. I love that Island green over the bay. Paige, you totally rock. Just maybe SAY...what club You're using. 3 wood or 5 iron. The geometry ~ uggh. But watching your swing, smooth as you know what. Great fluid motion. And be ready, no hanky panky just hit the ball! I love that pace. Time and place for everything
Paige, Have you ever played Port Royal, Bermuda? They played the Grand Slam there for a few years & there's a PGA tour event there each year. Try the 16th hole for picture perfection on a golf course & then play it with an onshore breeze! Promise you will love the course & that hole!
For someone that lives inland this always gets me❤ 6:46 All I imagine is the breeze patting my skin & the smell of the sea argh 😍 priceless. Oh Darn, the 15th hole goes across the sea, whaaaaaaat😵, that's so cool. I reckon I'd have to reload a couple of times.😂
Awesome video! I love all the views of this course, I’ve seen them online and on the Golf Channel many times. This is one of the biggest things on my bucket list, just stays right there out of reach. Thank you for making the Wonderfully Amazing video, you brought it so much to life! Always enjoy following you on your adventures, you just show the world how much fun and relaxing the game really is 😉
great vlog of an absolutely picturesque backdrop, the waves , the sun and the lava is cool too, wonderful course......ive never seen lava before... being in England we are so far away from all that good stuff like fun...sun and beautiful rolling oceans ..... super round,. you were on fire well done paige. you look amazing as always...red is killer
Mauna Kea on the big island of Hawaii was amazing!!! Just north of Mauna Lani, if this is the most photographed hole, #3 @ Mauna Kea must be the 2nd, it was breath taking! They are almost identical holes
#14 at coeur d alene, idaho. WSU's home course before palouse ridge...and we got to play it all the time. dunked it in the drink a couple times...but everyone does (the green actually is moved each day). probably the hardest hole i ever played...and i've gone around on the canadian tour a few times. nothing like the island though!
This was 4 years ago, and the lava has already been there once, I wonder if the golf course is still there after recent eruptions? Sure is pretty though, my favorite is still the course in N.California for the tournament hosted be Clint Eastwood.
You should try golf course near Tanah Lot, Bali, Indonesia. It's called Bali Nirwana. They had one long par 3 hole with beach plus temple view. Really amazing. However, they are still renovating the course. Hope it will be ready this year.
Another destination course, try the Nirwana golf course in Bali. Nirwana’s signature 7th hole where you can hit a shot over an ocean inlet to a clifftop green with a backdrop of Tanah Lot - the Island’s most sacred Hindu island temple. With jaw slackening cliff-to-cliff tee shots on holes 7, 13, and 14, carved into the coastline of the Indian Ocean - definitely a contender to the Mauna Lani.
I once played golf on the island of Lanzarote. It's volcanic too, and there was no normal rough - if you missed the fairway you were playing off rock. I was pretty embarrassed returning my hire clubs afterwards...🙄
Yes that is a beautiful hole. Played it a few years ago but I think Pebble Beach has the most stunning golf holes in the world. Hope you can do a video of that too.
What an amazing course, but instead of being distracted by the waves and ocean in the backdrop, that red dress would make me plunk 'em in the water way too many times! Love your videos Paige, so entertaining!
