I still think the only thing unique or good or interesting at all about pheonix's joker and his movie is pheonix's acting. It was an average origin story with great cinematography that brought the perspective of someone with mental illness but other than that, it was like Spider-Man 2 but way less relatable characters and him just getting shit on wherever he went. If Leto Joker hadn't gotten tattoos, he'd have been really comic accurate. The tattoos are fine I liked them when I was a kid finally after all this time I think I see how stupid it actually is. Jared Leto, Went from a business man who only existed to be killed off in American Psycho to a drug-addict you could easily sympathize with in Requiem for a Dream, to a psycho in Suicide Squad, to now some Vampire or whatever in Morbius. the film tries to be funny, and sometimes tries to be Heartfelt and emotional in a way that the two styles dont have any chemistry and that, made us question about what the film is trying to do, the other thing is that that the film does not live up to its name , there were deaths in suicide squad but compare that to the number of deaths in the suicide squad its too much its suppose to have a overwhelming sense of danger but it does not have that which is why we can't take the film seriously and its plain, the film is not even that bad, its average like captain marvel and iron man 2, but we had a lot of expectations for the film with how the trailer and the soundtrack were , but it did not deliver why people hate it so much

Honestly I throughly enjoyed suicide squad, however I am bummed that we didn't get to see ayers full vision realized w out studio interference, bc the over vibe if the film I think worked widely for Audiences and that's what drew them in, hopefully THE suicide squad does the characters justice
