Correct me if I heard wrong but isn’t the curved side of a crush washer is supposed to go toward the case or item that it is connecting to, because that side is what the washer is conforming against to make the seal,..not the bolt head end.
Seems like comparing apples to oranges, regarding the thickness of the differential washers. The dealer retail prices for crush washers are obscene. Additionally not to nitpick your good vid, but noticed a typo, the aftermarket price per differential washer was 33 cents each based on 20 washers.
cardo Math was not my best subject :) I divided by 10 and not 20, oops. The thickness of the differential washer will not affect the effectiveness of it.
Great video...been using the Amazon Crush washers with my 2018 CRV and have had ZERO problems with the Amazon washers. 🙌🏻
Thanks for the feedback Tony!

yes. Flat side is the side that goes toward drain bolt. Round side faces the oil pan.
A Honda crate engine cost $6700 plus labor to install. Me thinks I will be buying their crush washers:)
I’ve been using the 100 pc pack I bought from eBay with zero problems.
So the cheap ones won't "Crush" my wallet, but the expensive quality ones totally "Crush" the competition & throw them right in the Washer ;)
jlthomas531 That was brilliant analysis :)
Try the leak test
