    Today’s Tidbit features a FUN product, Folk Art's Glitterific Paint. I love this product because unlike the loose glue I used to use, this is suspended in a clear shiny gel that adheres it to the paper (and other surfaces) with no mess and no flaking! You can use this product on top of your gel prints or incorporated into layers like I am doing in this week's tutorial.

      It’s wonderful, because it doesn’t get all over the floor either :-) and when you tear the paper it stays intact

    Beautiful prints! I might suggest that you try putting the on the Glitterific with a paint brush or palette knife as it is easier to control how much you put on and where it goes. I’ve used this product a lot on other things besides gel printing and either tool works a lot better than a dobber.😊

    That was so much vicarious fun! Kind of by accident I recently bought some of the glitter stuff so I can't wait to try it. As Always you really have such great videos- they always make me happy!

    THAT was enormous fun!! I love glitter! So weird that you would do a vid on these lovely glitter paints. I was gifted several bottles of the Glitterifics and hadn't tried them yet. I wasn't clear on the manner in which I would use them in my work. I have to say, it never crossed my mind to use them on my gel plate. This was serendipitous! Thank you, once again, for giving us such wonderful inspiration to try something new. Can't wait to give this a go! Love and Bless xo

      OH how cool that you had the paint already!!! Yay, yes try it on the gel plate, also you can spread it across finished gel prints with a palette knife, for a little bling!

    Beautiful! Could you flatten and dry the baby wipe and use it in collage?

    Is it possible to thin the glitter after it dries on your project? Asking for a friend. 😬

    • @ElizabethStHilaire
      @ElizabethStHilaire  20 днів тому

      No, I don’t think so, after after it dries it’s permanent.

      @@ElizabethStHilaire I thought about using a heat gun, but I figure that would make everything I did look worse. I wish I could show it to you. It is a small wooden sign that I painted black with 2 gold numbers, 24, for my house. The gold numbers were white, but it looked terrible.

      @@rhondatrout1360 well I am pretty much only gel printing and not painting objects, so I really have no idea. I hope it works out!
