Tearing Down Two Failed Seagate SAS Drives

Tearing down a pair of very dead, very much failed Seagate 300GB SAS hard disks to figure out what went wrong and just how badly they were trashed.
Let's just say that both of them are going to be shelf queens and/or display pieces.

Other Thoughts: I had to triple-wash my hands in order to fully wash off the ferromagnetic dust that got all over them, and I had to use a damp sponge on the Tech Room Workbench in order to clean it up as best as I could. That side of the workbench has now been permanently stained with ferromagnetic dust from these two drives.
