- I'm auctioning these beautiful Sonor drums for the charity Multiple Sclerosis.
This set was used during the European tours of the band Porcupine Tree from 2003 to 2007. www.ebay.co.uk...

Remo Coated Emperor on the toms top
Remo Clear Ambassadors (Sonor badge) on the bottom of the toms

This is such a great thing your doing Gavin. I have MS and have been fighting everyday since 2014. I hope you raise a lot of money for the charity! Such a great cause and attention your giving to something not many people know about or understand. I've been a drummer for over 30 years and cannot play as I used to due to my illness but live vicariously through your magnificent playing ability. I think your amazing and completely support what your doing. God Bless you my brother!

I was Diagnosed in 2003 & didn’t realise the impact of this disease on your whole circle 🤨 I have been playing for 40 years & still try to gig as much as I can, (only possible with the help of my wife & friends) Gavin & his sound Have always been inspirational this raises the bar again.

I found this natural frequency of this recording (the tuning is very similar to other recording):
tom 8 ": 219-221 Hz (A3)
tom 10 ": 165-172 Hz (E3-F3)
tom 12 ": 131-134 (C3)
FT 15 ": 87-92 (F2-F # 2)
FT 18 ": 67-74 (C2-D2)
Snare 14 ": 195-197 Hz (G3)
The frequency change with force, more force --> higher frequency

Great idea Gavin, my mother inlaw has MS and has made it into her 80's which is almost unheard of! Help by bidding on this kit its of r a great cause! And it belongs to GAVIN!!!
My grandmother passed 2017 in the age of 92 and about 52 years with MS.

Wow what a great kit for a great cause. I will share it around and hopefully the auction will garnish a lot of money to help fight MS. Although i have little experience with MS my father passed away of ALS in 2004.

Perfect sounding kit. Gavin, your videos on YT were the main reason why I decided to go with Sonor when I was buying my first "pro" kit. Now, for the last two weeks I'm struggling with dilemma, to sold them way under the price or to keep them.
The thing is, that kit is the only thing I can sell to get founds that I need for saving my bike shop/business from closing.
It would be stupid not to sell them, I know, but every drummer would understand what kind of heartbreaking situation this is.

Man, from the title alone, I got a really frightening first impression that YOU have multiple clerosis.
The toms and bass drum sound great. Maple shells, but what is the thickness? Vintage, medium, heavy? With the Sonor kits no one ever mentions the thickness of the shells.

I don’t know how he does it but those are the greatest sounding drums time after time after time I would love to know how much it went for. I would guess at least 15,000. The sound is a 10 out of 10, but those are the ugliest drums I have ever seen.😂
