I got one of these couple weeks ago and am stoked at the opportunity to take down a big one sometime. I fished it on the drift upwind on my skiff didn’t get bit unfortunately. Should I change out the mono for fluoro leader if I’m primarily fishing it on the drift like that? Would it be better to fly it on the kite? Or is it just as effective floating upwind as you suggested on the video? Thanks for the info

If you want to make it more stealth you can use a kite or put a small balloon on the leader to keep the line out of the water. Fluorocarbon won’t make a significant difference in that size line. Sometimes just a little action on it like a bump troll or the initial deployment on a kite will entice the bite.
