One big thing about the jungle that was better in other seasons: There was a tradeoff to the inherent power of the role. B4 season 12 you had to buy a dedicated item for your smite, so your late game was impaired. Before that you had to spend gold for pure jgl power to be able to clear with decent speeds and not go oom. Having the choice of either having ganking or spending a solid 1-2k gold on farming items is what (almost) balanced out the role.

the tower bugs can be found on Vandiril Post . explanation: It happened when red buff or Ignite used by a enemy then died (killed on ally tower range) "BUT" even the enemy died. and the Red/ignite still continue the ally tower will think that the Minion attacking the player not the ignite/red. and because the enemy champ still under the ally tower range and dead. the tower will not attack other champion no matter what except if the Minion or the ally champion that still alive under the tower died.
I mean the durability patch was a good idea, but they just implemented it wrong. Imagine instead of making every champ more durable, they took damage away from them either through scaling or just lowering stats on the items. That would've solved a lot of problems, but that would have required more work on Riots part so no way in hell would they ever do that
Durability patch was not a good idea, not even in concept, only silver players who think a 3-0 mage shouldn't be able to one shot them thought this was a good idea. The issue is that the Durability patch did absolutely nothing to fix the problem for silver players who are crying about balance when they just need to learn how to play, and then created a shit tonne of problem champions who just mid game scale for free cause bruisers and tanks benefitted the most from this and they are unkillable midgame with any semblance of a lead. You've already proven you are a silver player by the fact you think taking away damage from every champion isn't the same as adding durability. It accomplishes the same thing, there would be no difference. It did not need a change, that is what high elo players are complaining about. It is universally seen as a bad idea by high elo players, only low elo would ever claim that changing the game fundamentally is a good idea, especially considering that change does nothing to fix that low elo players are braindead and have no idea what these changes even mean. Case in point your comment. S12 was a great season for gameplay. Things were smooth, they made sense, the item system was fine once people got used to it and the meta wasn't complete cancer. So I have no idea what the fuck you are talking about when you say there were a lot of problems that needed solving. It was the best season since S8. And then the durability patch hit, and its almost like taking a good solid gamestate and changing it cause silver players are braindead isn't a good idea. Every change since Durability patch onward has been a bad change for the game, but hey silver players are having the time of their life spamming mundo and mordekaiser, so I guess its fine. Personally I'd say season 9 was the best season of the ones I played to any decent extent (as it didn't have aphelios and othe 200 year champs in it (granted it had the proto-200 years perma-invis queefyana and broken sylas, as well as longtime inherently antifun and cancerous teemo, shaco, etc.), had the jg items, gunblade, etc., had some of the last actually decent reworks in the game.). In my opinion, patch 9.21 was the best state of the game. Then the game went wayyy downhill afterwards. With this new shitty patch I've quit the game - and if and when I come back I might just make a new account and have fun doing stupid shit in low elo while actually speaking freely because I can just make another account when I get chatbanned after like 3 games. Bonus points if doing that scares away some poor innocent new souls from getting hooked on this abomination!
Jungle has always been super strong. Since the begining. The only difference is the jungle role required some level of skill and only certain champs could do it. I feel it was fine the way it was back in 2011 - 2012
As a guy who has played jungle on and off over the years the biggest changes is jungle clearing is wayyy to easy and skipping camps to non stop ganks doesnt hurt at all. Like tyler said just tax lanes after ganks and you will never fall behind.

something that i encountered on two different games that was VERY annoying is that yoricks w is bugged if he places it right you are stuck in place. not thrown into the cage with small room to manover in, not blocked out, literally rooted in place unless you flash away
You can do that with Anivia wall, but it stagger them for the full duration, so they can't even flash or use any form of abilities (staggers/displacements can not be cleansed eighter). You just see them shake like crazy inside your wall. It is extremely rare with most champions, but for some reason, Urgot and Katarina tend to actually get stuck that way significantly more (Urgot is actually quite easy to trap like that). I am not complaining though, I am a Cass, Anivia and Quinn main, so I am the one abusing it.

Anonymous champ select in low elo brings down toxic lobbies considerably. So it doesn't already set in weak mental throughout the team but I understand the need to look up trolls in high elo. Idk maybe I'm uneducated but with dodging they need less punishments since it's pretty essential dodging trolls Also want to add that he's right that tank supports deal a bit too much damage but thats also due to their items being trash. They don't give enough tank stats to make them tanky enough and rely on their kits tankyness to make up for it. So if your going to nerf tank sup damage (which I agree with) they need to give tank sup items a bit more oomff

I just asked Riot how its possible that a Shaco Hail of Blades bug hasnt been fixed for 4 years. They said that the game is not perfect and they will transfer it further. I will see if it is fixed by the END of this year...

For an Urgot player I'm surprised he didn't write 'remove mythics'. Makes no sense to me how champs like Urgot/Varus/Singed/Ezreal don't want mythics or want to buy them so late into the game that it is hindering them. The first few months of season 9 before Yuumi release was a great state of the game imo, wish we could go back to then.
No champ wants mythics. There is not a single champ I know of that would prefer the game post-"mythic update" than before. Closest champ to that is probably Pyke just because duskblade is (now was) so fucking good on him, but otherwise nothing even comes close. With the shitty new mythic update making it so you basically can't do any super interesting builds, stack similar or the same item, yadayadayada, it actually basically completely killed the hundreds of hours I spent theorycrafting fun and interesting strats in this game. It made it not fun anymore, and be mostly impossible to do anything because you literally could not buy items. Personally patch 9.21 was the best state of the game IMHO - the actually nice Urgot and Kayle reworks (some of the very last decent reworks they ever did) were out, aphelios, senna, sett, etc. are not, jg items are in the game and mythics are not. Wish we could go back to that patch, but I guess any older part of season 9 wouldn't be that bad either. I seem to be in the extreme minority that I'm actually a huge fan of (pre new horrible rework) Yuumi - actually my favorite support to both play with, AND play against. I call her a "two for one" when against her because kill the champ she's on and she's a free kill as well, and when she's on my team, well my support actually doesn't just straight run it down!
To me the best way to fix the game is simply--increase map sizes and add 2-3 more camps, this will slow down early gank presence, slow down the game, prevent assassins blow up the game from super early on.
For me, just revert to patch 9.21, then to make jg not be so broken, have it so until like 10 minutes, junglers take and deal like 50% reduced damage and CC from non-jungling players. That makes ganks have to be much more calculated early, while still being able to be successful. Perhaps have it go away when near an active epic monster. For more substantial changes, remove most of the goddamn CC from this game, revert some of the champion's shitty reworks that were still there, remove teemo, shaco, and other insanely cancerous and unhealthy champions, make queefyana and akali's invis show their outline (so you can see where they are even if you can't auto them or necessarily tell if they are using an ability), and of course, finally stop violating the playerbase's basic fucking rights and make the source code available to them for review.

At no point did T1 say the durability update is good. Its horrible for the game and is the root cause of many of the problems.
What I hate is the new rune select thing. Let's say for example I pick Annie and take comet runes play the game, req, pick annie again. You would assume I keep the same runes I selected last game. NOPE, it resets to the same runes from 2 games ago.

Going 'waaah I got matched against someone who at some point was 2 ranks above my teammate' is real dumb

I Dota you get more kills the higher level the Hero you killed is, in Mario Kart you get better items when you are behind, in Smash you get invincibility when you respawn, plus Rage in Smash4 and Ultimate. In Many fighting games there are comback mechanics, like X-factor, or just getting super meter from getting damaged, in Counterstrike you get more money for more consecutive rounds lost etc. It is crucial to make players have impact throughout a match, rather than just winning/losing early basically deciding the entire thing
He is so right about first jungle to gank bot wins. I watch all of my boyfriend's games in Master elo, he plays support and in about 99.99% of his games, the enemy jungle ganks bot. Game is lost immediately just because the enemy jungler decides to get 2 people ahead instead of just one. Getting level and resource advantage makes the game snowball-y and so whoever gets slightly ahead at 2 mins wins.

Make that champion kills are more for getting objective pressure than the gold and make towers A LOT tankier and remove platings, or make them stay forever, not just for the first 14 minutes
I've said this for quite some time it isn't adc's need a damage buff. They need a durability buff because they get out level and then everything else to just nukes them with no real effort.

As almost any short/midrange mage, the burden is on you in every single fight to hit literally every skill shot. AD champions win extended fights by default. You can NEVER follow roams, even if you're only a half second behind them. And if you mess up even once in lane the game is done - now that Zed/Talon/Fizz/Qiyana/Yone can 100% kill you under tower for the rest of the game.

make jung monster do insane dmg while you are above like 30% hp and then reduce it if you have smite for 1st 7 min, so junglers are low and actually risk life on random bs they do

just add a mechanic that if a jg leaves a camp range. jg and those near him cant get get exp or gold (this will punish those perma camp so hard ) but it would also need over hauling bounty system. problem solved so if you survive a gank now you are probably a level ahead it will also solve taxing : ) early game roams/ganks are very powerful ,so such high risk play should be as punishing as they are rewarding every role should be bound to their space like unleased teleport.

Instead of doing a twisted treeline, just close off the jungle for a set amount of time, 8-10mins can easily have it so the only way to enter is with jungle item and smite. have it be like morde ult where they are unable to interact with lanes until fixed time is up.
So, bounties are kind of weird now. They're based on how much gold you've gained since you last died as compared to your lane opponent. So if there's a lull in the game and you're both farming up, if you've been feeding you're actually more likely to get more gold than your enemy since your lane will be pushed. This punishes your ability to comeback. At the same time it makes it so a lead isn't invalidated by a lull just because you got ahead and did what you were supposed to do. Eh, idk.
Holy fuck just revert the game to season 6 and maybe keep dragons/soul. Jungle and support back to being tanks/enchanters except some early game junglers like lee sin/elise. That was the best season that actually required brain. Now just perma fight and coinflip your way to higher ranks because of all the takedown/snowball mechanics
We need an item banning feature in champ select. Bork is seriously the most insanely busted item ever. All bruisers will pick it up first item and out damage everyone's mythic 10x over within 2 minutes.

Why create champ select report an option if you're going to go against it by making the names anonymous. so, you don't know you're getting trolled till in game or people cans just spout bullshit in champ select but you don't see who it is till your stuck with them for 20 mins at least riot loves creating avenues for people to be toxic and won't do shit about it because they are the root of the problem.
Champ select anonymity speaks volumes for this shit fucking company, it exists because they care more for the number of games played over the quality of the games played because it makes their game look bigger and better. In reality the games play out like shit and very often feel decided in the first 5 minutes.
Bronze player here: From my point of view, it seems his problem in ADC is a result of stream-sniping and having a support that doesn't allow for him to farm under tower. Soraka with a runic shield for example would allow the adc to farm under tower easier even if the jungler is camping their lane.
IMAGINE THIS, you have "lane gates" where the gates are closed for a certain amount of time, and then they open and in those open times you could get ganked. and the jungle isnt gates the junglers can 1v1 each other and invade if they want. but this would make wards difficult. just an idea but something like that. maybe from levels 1-3 top and bot there is a gate. protection. would also allow junglers to full clear and plan

Watching this after losing 1000 LP in 3 days. God fuck it hurts. The game has gotten worse & worse past 4 or so years exponentially. It's literally impossible to solo carry games nowadays when everyone can be tanky, do damage, high mobility & dash million times and yet your team is playing with controller & running it down lanes with alongside their minion siblings.
Jungle can easily be fixed by giving a penalty to jungle camps if they aren't cleared after X amount of time. Could be a gold penalty, an exp penalty, or both. This will force full clearing early, and force jungle players to take a risk with their early ganks because if they don't work out, not only would they lose from the fail gank but they'll also lose gold/exp from those camps that they didn't clear by that set X amount of time.
Cool list, but I would suggest one more thing. As a modder, I love making mods for games and League is one of them. It's sad to see games with good gamemodes but no content to make up for it, but then you have games with a lot of content but the gamemode is terrible. I suggest the devs release some kind of modding tools, so the modders can go wild with the game.

Personally I'd say season 9 was the best season of the ones I played to any decent extent (as it didn't have aphelios and othe 200 year champs in it (granted it had the proto-200 years perma-invis queefyana and broken sylas, as well as longtime inherently antifun and cancerous teemo, shaco, etc.), had the jg items, gunblade, etc., had some of the last actually decent reworks in the game.). In my opinion, patch 9.21 was the best state of the game. Then the game went wayyy downhill afterwards. With this new shitty patch I've quit the game - and if and when I come back I might just make a new account and have fun doing stupid shit in low elo while actually speaking freely because I can just make another account when I get chatbanned after like 3 games. Bonus points if doing that scares away some poor innocent new souls from getting hooked on this abomination!
Jungle has always been super strong. Since the begining. The only difference is the jungle role required some level of skill and only certain champs could do it. I feel it was fine the way it was back in 2011 - 2012
As a guy who has played jungle on and off over the years the biggest changes is jungle clearing is wayyy to easy and skipping camps to non stop ganks doesnt hurt at all. Like tyler said just tax lanes after ganks and you will never fall behind.

You can do that with Anivia wall, but it stagger them for the full duration, so they can't even flash or use any form of abilities (staggers/displacements can not be cleansed eighter). You just see them shake like crazy inside your wall. It is extremely rare with most champions, but for some reason, Urgot and Katarina tend to actually get stuck that way significantly more (Urgot is actually quite easy to trap like that).
I am not complaining though, I am a Cass, Anivia and Quinn main, so I am the one abusing it.

Anonymous champ select in low elo brings down toxic lobbies considerably. So it doesn't already set in weak mental throughout the team but I understand the need to look up trolls in high elo. Idk maybe I'm uneducated but with dodging they need less punishments since it's pretty essential dodging trolls
Also want to add that he's right that tank supports deal a bit too much damage but thats also due to their items being trash. They don't give enough tank stats to make them tanky enough and rely on their kits tankyness to make up for it. So if your going to nerf tank sup damage (which I agree with) they need to give tank sup items a bit more oomff

For an Urgot player I'm surprised he didn't write 'remove mythics'. Makes no sense to me how champs like Urgot/Varus/Singed/Ezreal don't want mythics or want to buy them so late into the game that it is hindering them. The first few months of season 9 before Yuumi release was a great state of the game imo, wish we could go back to then.
No champ wants mythics. There is not a single champ I know of that would prefer the game post-"mythic update" than before. Closest champ to that is probably Pyke just because duskblade is (now was) so fucking good on him, but otherwise nothing even comes close. With the shitty new mythic update making it so you basically can't do any super interesting builds, stack similar or the same item, yadayadayada, it actually basically completely killed the hundreds of hours I spent theorycrafting fun and interesting strats in this game. It made it not fun anymore, and be mostly impossible to do anything because you literally could not buy items.
Personally patch 9.21 was the best state of the game IMHO - the actually nice Urgot and Kayle reworks (some of the very last decent reworks they ever did) were out, aphelios, senna, sett, etc. are not, jg items are in the game and mythics are not. Wish we could go back to that patch, but I guess any older part of season 9 wouldn't be that bad either.
I seem to be in the extreme minority that I'm actually a huge fan of (pre new horrible rework) Yuumi - actually my favorite support to both play with, AND play against. I call her a "two for one" when against her because kill the champ she's on and she's a free kill as well, and when she's on my team, well my support actually doesn't just straight run it down!
To me the best way to fix the game is simply--increase map sizes and add 2-3 more camps, this will slow down early gank presence, slow down the game, prevent assassins blow up the game from super early on.
For me, just revert to patch 9.21, then to make jg not be so broken, have it so until like 10 minutes, junglers take and deal like 50% reduced damage and CC from non-jungling players. That makes ganks have to be much more calculated early, while still being able to be successful. Perhaps have it go away when near an active epic monster. For more substantial changes, remove most of the goddamn CC from this game, revert some of the champion's shitty reworks that were still there, remove teemo, shaco, and other insanely cancerous and unhealthy champions, make queefyana and akali's invis show their outline (so you can see where they are even if you can't auto them or necessarily tell if they are using an ability), and of course, finally stop violating the playerbase's basic fucking rights and make the source code available to them for review.

He is so right about first jungle to gank bot wins. I watch all of my boyfriend's games in Master elo, he plays support and in about 99.99% of his games, the enemy jungle ganks bot. Game is lost immediately just because the enemy jungler decides to get 2 people ahead instead of just one. Getting level and resource advantage makes the game snowball-y and so whoever gets slightly ahead at 2 mins wins.

As almost any short/midrange mage, the burden is on you in every single fight to hit literally every skill shot. AD champions win extended fights by default. You can NEVER follow roams, even if you're only a half second behind them. And if you mess up even once in lane the game is done - now that Zed/Talon/Fizz/Qiyana/Yone can 100% kill you under tower for the rest of the game.

Instead of doing a twisted treeline, just close off the jungle for a set amount of time, 8-10mins can easily have it so the only way to enter is with jungle item and smite. have it be like morde ult where they are unable to interact with lanes until fixed time is up.
So, bounties are kind of weird now. They're based on how much gold you've gained since you last died as compared to your lane opponent. So if there's a lull in the game and you're both farming up, if you've been feeding you're actually more likely to get more gold than your enemy since your lane will be pushed. This punishes your ability to comeback. At the same time it makes it so a lead isn't invalidated by a lull just because you got ahead and did what you were supposed to do. Eh, idk.
Jungle is the most op role with the most toxic role of being the person responsible for making the teams mental doesn't go boom.

I you have smite you can't get xp or gold from minions and lanes until 20 minutes. So you have to clear your jungle.
here's my big one. Why create champ select report an option if you're going to go against it by making the names anonymous. so, you don't know you're getting trolled till in game or people cans just spout bullshit in champ select but you don't see who it is till your stuck with them for 20 mins at least riot loves creating avenues for people to be toxic and won't do shit about it because they are the root of the problem.
Champ select anonymity speaks volumes for this shit fucking company, it exists because they care more for the number of games played over the quality of the games played because it makes their game look bigger and better. In reality the games play out like shit and very often feel decided in the first 5 minutes.
Bronze player here: From my point of view, it seems his problem in ADC is a result of stream-sniping and having a support that doesn't allow for him to farm under tower.
Soraka with a runic shield for example would allow the adc to farm under tower easier even if the jungler is camping their lane.

Jungle can easily be fixed by giving a penalty to jungle camps if they aren't cleared after X amount of time. Could be a gold penalty, an exp penalty, or both. This will force full clearing early, and force jungle players to take a risk with their early ganks because if they don't work out, not only would they lose from the fail gank but they'll also lose gold/exp from those camps that they didn't clear by that set X amount of time.

Cool list, but I would suggest one more thing.
As a modder, I love making mods for games and League is one of them. It's sad to see games with good gamemodes but no content to make up for it, but then you have games with a lot of content but the gamemode is terrible.
I suggest the devs release some kind of modding tools, so the modders can go wild with the game.
