honestly, from the looks of it, it seems to have been the editor's fault 'cause there seems to be a few cameramen pointing at different angles and whoever put together the different footages didn't include a lot of blackmore for god knows why
Does that camera man have something against Blackmore? Some of his best licks were in his 1st solo. All I get is Glover,Paice,& Lord and maybe a taste of Blackmore

What is it with directors back then? Richie goes off on his solo and the camera is on Roger, then Pacey, then Jon? Clearly the tour manager didn't step in.
I notice that Roger FF Glove'rs guitar plays even when he is not. He and John Paul Jones MFer have that very same thing in common. Also, Ian has some of the most beautiful lips that do not keep on singing when he is not.
For starters, that's a television camera in front of the stage, one of various cameras from which the DIRECTOR switched the shots from, live as the performance was RECORDED, not filmed. If you didn't notice that, you shouldn't be calling anyone a moron nor would you know the difference between the two media. The director, literally, calls the shots.
So does that director has a beef with Ritchie? Is a though he's ignoring some of his best guitar licks on that tape all I see is the two Ians, Glover and Lord supporting his solo but I barely see Ritchie guitar solo

Deep Purple mark 2 was the best line up IMHO the 70's was by far the best of the rock music groups AC/DC Journey and the Go Go's in the 80's lol
