Props to you guys for pointing to the subtle, often under valued aspects of the products. Such as the negation of PD charging capability which would have been amazing for any macbook owner and other newer laptops.

@Nithsh Really an interesting question if you own an MacBook why the hell do you need an Android phone, because iphones sucks to use it as a standalone Device but using an iphone along with other apple products is different world all together, no android windows can mimick it

@@deeplam I do use a macbook for my work. And i am totally fine using my android phone as it is. Sure if i had an iphone it would have been great but i still wouldn't prefer iphone just for the apple ecosystem, android gives me what i need. To be honest, you won't feel the need for an ecosystem coherence until you have experienced it for what it is and you move away from it. Macbook air is still one of the best standalone laptops i have used. It doesnt require an iphone to justify it's presence any more than it is.
P.s. My personal non macbook windows laptop also supports PD charging. I just double checked.

I have been using 9rt since 19th of Jan and was facing some extreme battery draining issues with some moderate usage. Turned off 120 HZ and still the issue wasn't solved. But after coming across the show refresh rate option, I realised the refresh rate was not changing and no matter what you choose 120 or 60 hz it is still staying at 120. Had to restart the phone and it was solved. This was the first issue I faced and Things like these are ruining the software. experience. I hope OP fixes such issues.

Watching this on my OnePlus 9RT. Some of the things I noticed:
    1) No weird bugs in the UI except for the Weather app which after update shows Chinese language.
    2) Decent camera, okay front cam. Didn't get time to shoot in daylight condition for past two days. Works fine even in artificial indoor lights, maintains color accuracy, which is a nice thing imo.
    3) Buttery smooth performance, no jitters whatsoever. Gestural navigation working very well. Overall, good optimization. Using a 12 GB variant.
    4) Display quality is good, was not able to see any flickering issue even in the lowest of lights and screen brightness.
    5) Network reception is very good, and wifi connectivity is superb.
    6) Connectivity with OnePlus Buds is what you would expect with any other OnePlus phone.
    7) Charging speed is what you would expect from 65W fast charger. Battery optimization is good, not much of an idle drain overnight too.
    8) Never found it to be heating, even a slight bit, but will have to test it even further.

I am using OnePlus 9RT since 2 days now. The only app where i felt 60hz was UA-cam and yes they shouldn't cap it at 60Hz, the build quality of this phone is very good ngl phone feels solid, I got the Hacker Black variant and it looks stealthy, looks like a flagship device, it looks even better if you're under bright light, the UI feels fast and snappy, didn't face any bugs or jitters, display is neat, front camera is decent, but the back camera is very good, the video recording capabilities are top notch, you can record upto 4k 60fps with both Main and Ultrawide with stabilization, and you can switch between lenses upto 4k 30fps, zero heating, very good experience so far.

You guys have great reviews. But, I somewhere feel that bashing OP is becoming a thing here.
    > There is no 10k difference between 9r and 9rt. 9r costs 39999 without offers and 9rt costs 43999 without offers for 8gb/128gb version. With this price difference, 9rt should be the obvious choice. Yes, with respective offers prices might vary.
    > Yes, they have multiple "file managers" and it is a irritating thing. But "OneUI" has duplicate apps for almost every google app. But, you guys just gloss over it. And you take any samsung device, after an year or so, it starts to lag. OP did screw up their A11 update on 7 series and A12 update on 9 series. But, they had no issues with A11 on 8 series. I use an OP 8 pro. Even 6 series got 11 update when most companies ignore their older phones and 5 series still gets security updates. And atleast, they are constantly working and pushing out updates to resolve the said issues unlike MIUI.
    > Is not giving PD charger such a big issue that you pointed it out, whereas not giving the charger in S21 FE's box was glossed away as being the norm?
    > Cameras have always been an issue for OP. No argument over there. But, I would like to highlight that it's a subjective thing. You guys have the privilege of looking at different phones and make comparisions. But, for general public, it doesn't matter much. For ex, I took a photo on my OP8 pro and compared it with 8T and my friend who owns an 8T was not seeing the subtle differences in the pics. That's the case with most people. That's the reason you don't see most of the OP owners complaining about their cams except reviewers. My point is, camera quality can be subjective. And don't get me wrong. I am not saying it is better in any way than s21fe or other flagship cameras.
    > Objectively, 9rt is better value for money than S21 fe in every way possible. The price difference is huge. Yes, samsung phones do come down in price but you can't give a review or comparision based on future prices. You always see price dips in Samsung phones, but not much in Op phones. This gives the owner a sense of pride as they know they have paid the right amount rather than weeping after looking at the reduced prices in few months.
This was my rant as I have been seeing a trend in your reviews. Please don't be brand specific.

Samsung phones ignore software support - Samsung has promised 3 years of Android and 5(iirc) years of security updates; One definite advantage OP had over samsung was Oxygen OS, which is not the case anymore. OP has no advantage over samsung in software/software support anymore.
Each and every youtuber sang praises for Oxygen OS, now removing it, OP literally lost its main selling point, why wouldn't reviewers bring that up?
Camera subjectivity : The main benefit of watching the reviewers is the fact that they have point of reference. Yes you and I don't compare photos everyday so it doesn't matter, but don't you want to know how it compares to other phones? What else do you want reviewers do? Treat OP phones as they're in vacuum?

Using it(op 9rt) 12/256gb ram/rom for 7 months now, and as a normal daily user I faced some issues like fast battery draining, and when you switch to OIS the camera started lagging n phone got heat like hell, even when it's on charging it get so heated that it's feels like can blast ( happens some time) but playing heavy games like bgmi n all you will face heating, frame dropping, laggyness on normal graphics. The camera is good but not the flagship level (you paid for) n the 2mg micro is just the joke which I can't digest till now 🥲, software experience is good for now but not flagship level experience.. do not justify the amount of 47,000 in any way.

This problem exists with OnePlus 8T as well.
There's one more major issue with the refresh in 8T, the refresh sometimes drops to lower than even 60Hz when set on 120Hz and fixes after setting the phone on battery saver, that too, after a while.
Also, the "show refresh rate" toggle through dev mode also shows 120Hz refresh yet the frames are really very low, UI becomes too jittery.

Neither OnePlus care is helping nor getting support from OnePlus community members. Even when I went to OnePlus store they refused to take the return/replacement and told me that this is a hardware configuration issue (low power battery) and they admitted that this mistake has happened from the manufacturers of OnePlus and they can't do anything. They further advised me to sell this phone second hand and buy new one of any other brand. This is really ridiculous. Worst customer service.
