My advice is, if the season is already concluded, watch it all at once, edit it and then put it out a regular intervals. My reasoning is: 1. Your channel is still growing and relatively small, so you want to hook viewers with things they like. 2. People will check out your channel because you're watching something they like. If you the intervals between you watching what they like falls too broadly, they might lose interest. 3. Hook people with content they like and then win them over with your personality. Keep the breadcrumb trail consistent with shows, usually weekly or bi-weekly.
Thanks so much! I wasn’t really thinking from a channel growth perspective but you’re completely right! I think when shows are currently playing, I’ll release the eps as they’re dropped. For example, season 2 of Reacher coming up
@@cinemawithsteph also watch out for yourself! people sometimes don't realize how much they push themselves for their fans. your health and mentality come first! i subbed for the reachers reactions and will stay no matter what. take care of yourself first and things will come as they will, also you should react to agents of shield!
Sound advice! I'd also add another reason: 4. If you've watched the full series, you're then free to engage with your audience through the comments section and not have to worry about spoilers. Audience engagement is also a great way to keep your current subscribers and gain new ones.
Watch all, edit all, please. TBH, it's easy to lose the thread when the gaps are too far apart. BTW you can react t the season 2 trailer if you like. Each season is based on a Reacher novel, and as Reacher moves from town to town with each novel, there's no relationship between the seasons.
Reacher book fans (like me) would explain that Reacher is a loner, a wanderer, a tourist who travels light (no luggage). He makes friends along the way but doesn’t keep them…I mean, how could he? He doesn’t have a cell phone and he leaves for another destination as soon as possible. Neagley was in the 1st season of the series but not in the book. Because characters change from book to book, the show’s writers probably thought they should introduce a character who shows up from time to time in the books, either by coded message, phone call, brief visit, or actual storyline. Neagley plus the rest of the army buddies (special investigators) will likely be the only repeat characters. If you want to, you can read “The Affair” book which tells you how Reacher came to lead this way of life. Thanks for reacting to this show 😊
9:00 When Roscoe shoots the tree next to the bad guy it sprays the bark into his eyes. My dad taught me that when we would go squirrel hunting in the woods of Louisiana as a kid. Say you watched a squirrel climb up a tree and you know its hiding on the other side. You shoot the tree next to it and spray the squirrel with bark causing it to jump out of the tree the opposite direction that's when you shoot the squirrel and have dinner.
With regards the question of where this was filmed - they built a whole town in the middle of a corn field in Canada and filmed pretty much the whole thing there
Just my opinion, but I don't believe they were trying to spoil anything. There's over 20 Reacher books that goes back a couple of decades. Each one is a separate story that take place in an equal amount of destinations. It's pretty common knowledge.
@@docmetal8194 I agree with everything you said. But when folks tell her that Roscoe isn’t in season 2, her mind can’t help but wonder why and/or affect her reaction to season 1 episodes in ways she shouldn’t. Or when they told her that Neagley is in season 2, that’s a giveaway that she survives this season, with similar results. No worries now: she’s finished watching the season at this point. Just can’t figure out why people *have* to even talk about what happens down the road. Just discuss only what’s already been shown…
To really understand Reacher, he is a drifter. So he moves from novel to novel as a loner, only Neglely from time to time. So each book has Reacher arriving all alone, thus a whole new cast of characters. Only in TV and change of time periods does the story line change.
Great reaction to a wonderful episode! 🙂 Someone else already mentioned the show was filmed in Ontario, Canada, but I also wondered when I first saw it. This season is set in a fairly specific part of Georgia. It was specified in the novel as almost equidistant between Atlanta & Macon, with the Alabama border being relatively accessible. That is where I live and this area has become well-used for film & tv production. The heart-to-heart (sort of! LOL) between Reacher & Finlay in the minivan was enjoyable. That revelation concerning Finlay & his wife was enlightening. Also confirmed how “unique” Reacher is. I’ve even heard fans speculate (definitely not canon!) that he may be on the spectrum. When Reacher killed the guy in New York with the necktie, it probably did break the cervical vertebrae. That is how hanging works when done “properly,” not by strangulation as some assume. Though this was far from a “proper” hanging! My first thought though, as a man who is 6’2” & about 225 pounds: “What fabric is that tie made of?!?!” 😳 I would have expected it to tear. Kliner was definitely near the top of my suspect list until the depictions at the end of the previous episode. Intriguing, eh? 😉 As someone who hates spoilers, I found it disappointing when Roscoe’s (non)role in season 2 was disclosed to you prematurely. Others have explained the reasons. But would wish spoilers would stop. I read already that you’ve since seen the Season 2 trailer. Hope it enticed you! As far as how you should produce & release your content, I won’t be much help. But my two cents worth: I really enjoy your reactions to this show. I also *do* grow anxious when I feel there is a long delay between episodes of a series reaction by anyone. I consider that my problem though. Can not conceive how much work you put into this. You just “do you.” Thanks for the work & thanks for sharing with us. 👍🏻
Thank you so so much for your response! I think I’ll end up recording and editing a chunk of episodes before releasing, unless it’s airing live like this upcoming season 2 will be :)
I hope you didn't rearrange the wall behind you just to hide the doorstop from me 😂😂 I will agree with the idea of watch all the episodes before you post any so nobody can spoil anything for you in the comments. Another fun reaction, looking forward to the rest and definitely ready for season 2 in a few weeks!!!
If you remember Steph, I commented there was a backstory for why Finely was the way he was in an earlier episode. This episode was the payoff to that. 🙂
You’re wearing your Apple headphones wrong. The earpiece goes around the back of your ear and down into your ear. Try it the right way. It’s more comfortable and also actually louder when worn correctly. This also helps them not come out on a quick snag.
My 2 cents: I think, it's safer for your enjoyment of the stories, if you watch ahead. Not necessarily a whole season, but a good bunch of episodes. That way you run less risk of getting things spoiled from comments on an episode a while back from your perspective. Additionally, I recommend finding someone you can always rely on to monitor your comment section. Either someone who already knows the stories or someone who doesn't care about reading spoilers. Specifically for shows that are considered classics and run for a good long while, there will always be viewers who mean well and don't spoil specifics, but even in general praise they will spoil emotional ups and downs, e. g. "Oh, if you like this episode, just you wait until season 2, when it will pay off!"
@@cinemawithsteph You're very welcome. :) I mean, you're already doing very well and your joy is delightful to see. And that's the important part. Not feeding the algorithm or fans' pressure. Others have already given some very good suggestions about uploading these reviews. So, let me just say that (other than the horror movies) I enjoy your reactions to everything, especially because it's fun to watch the reactions of someone who is watching some much liked/loved movies and TV shows for the first time, especially if I've watched them before. However, I'd suggest that with shows like Reacher, you try and upload say once or twice a week. With movies, perhaps a variety is in order whenever you do upload, like comedy, drama, action, suspense, etc. Now, I skipped most of the horror movies run because I don't care much for most of those. So, a different genre with each upload would be great. Otherwise, keep up the good work and happy watching!🙂
