Man you nailed it. What I like about the U.S. edition of The Clash is that Remote Control and Complete Control are back to back. It fits thematically and musically its also a nice transition. Though to be honest I prefer Complete Control, it gives me waves of ecstasy every time I listen to it.
The version of Safe European Home is amazing too. I actually think that all the live performances and even the recording sessions on Rude Boy are plainly awesome. The Clash gave their heart and soul in all their performances and that is something unsurpassed to this day. I wish I was born at that time! R.I.P Joe Strummer.
Out of the many many Clash covers on UA-cam, your covers are by far the closest to what Mick Jones actually plays in your choice of chords positioning and one of the few guitarists that has sussed out that Mick Jones often plays the chords in different positions such a C Barre chord first on the A string, then playing it on the E string the second time, such as in this song! Love your Thunders covers as well!
