This series is generally pretty damn good. It has a couple kinda bad parts but I think it's overall really good. Definitely highly recommend you check out the series.

YES you’ve got to watch the show!! Varian is my favorite, the boy in the first song. His arc is SO good, it makes him such a sympathetic character and the whole show is underrated. But you have to watch the Tangled movie first, otherwise you won’t understand the show.
Varian’s VA is Jeremy Jordan, and Cassandra’s VA is Eden Espinosa! Both are huge Broadway stars, so it’s no surprise how well they can sing

The reason I love all the songs is becuase they got some damn good Broadway stars in there. You know you're gonna have a good time when they start belting

Yeah all the songs with Varian and/or Cass are fire, iirc both of their VAs are more well known as broadway stars which explains how incredible their performances are in every song they feature in.
Crossing the Line is my personal fav song from the series, highly recommend if you want to do a part 2!

@Scootx there's "Tangled before ever after" which is about kinda an hour long introduction to the kind of style of the series and what comes before the events of the series, and then there's "Repunzel's Tangled adventure" which is the series
@@Scootx No, there’s just a prequel movie to the series called Tangled:Before Ever After which happens after the original movie and is needed to understand the show itself, so if you do react to the show, you need to see the movie first (but please react to the show, it’s soooo good)
@Scootx theres not multiple series, but there is the movie, the series, and 2 minimovies to keep in mind for plot consistency. If you're going to react to Tangled, the best way to go about it is to watch everything in order and that is:
Tangled (the movie)
Tangled Before Ever After (the prequel minimovie to the show)
Tangled The Series
Tangled Ever After (the minimovie that came out after the first movie, but chronologically comes after the series)
Yeah, I accidentally started with the series (having watched the movie years before) and was confused about how they kept referring to past events like we'd already seen them. I thought at first there would be a flashback episode to explain it, but it turned out there was a special that acted as a pilot for the show that is separate from it on Disney plus.
Cass is my favorite, and her music is THE BEST -> Waiting in the Wings + Reprise and Crossing the Line. And Varian too -> Ready As I’ll Ever Be and his duet with Cass Nothing Left To Lose. You have no idea how HAPPY I am to see you watch this series!!!!

Also, everyone always recommends Ready As I'll Ever Be, Nothing Left to Lose, and Waiting in the Wings but Crossing the Line is SO good! It's a bit more spoilery (not anymore than Nothing Left to Lose) but honestly, that's my favorite performance in the show, Eden handles the lines toward the end perfectly.

Both Varian and Cassandras voice actors are Broadway singers that's why there singing is so amazing Varian is voiced by Jeremy Jordan and Cassandra is voiced by Eden Espinosa a lot of the other singers are also from Broadway but there the two I know by name

Please watch this show. Varian is an inspiration for one of my OCs. But you HAVE to watch the movie first. I went right in with the series and was so confused until I watched the movie. It’s the setup for the show.
DUDE! The Tangled series is SO underrated! It's amazing! It's like someone took the idea of the Aladdin cartoon that I loved when I was a kid and went "okay, let's do that, but let's put some REAL talent and effort into it."

This show was so unappreciated in its time but it still has an active fan base four years after the show has ended! While I don’t know if it will give the same amount of views as some of the other shows you’re reacting to, I would love to see it on this channel
The crew had such passion for the story and developing its mythos like it’s bonkers but it feels like such a natural progression from where the movie left off, and it sucks how some people write it off as a corporate Disney money-grab
I encourage people to watch it at least for its music, like we have award winning composers and a broadway cast like these people put their entire souls into these songs holy
Anyway, I’ll absolutely gobble up anything that can make me feel how I felt seeing this series for the first time, vicariously, and I keep coming back to this video every few weeks just to watch it again

This series is amazing! There were some major spoilers in those songs, but yeah id 100% LOVE watching reactions to this! Just so you do know, its best to watch Tangled (the movie) and Tangled: Before ever after (which is basically a pilot to the show and it sets everything up), before going onto the series. Its a phenomenal show, and Cass is def my favourite character.

Low-key, Tangled has the best songs of any animated series in the 2010s... not named Friendship is Magic. And it's a pretty solid series at that... well, at least during Season 2.
Also, Tangled's singers are better than Friendship is Magic... with the possible exception of Lena Hall (which is kind of cheating given that she's a Broadway sensation - which is why The Magic Inside kills it).

There’s some great highs and some boring lows, but overall is fairly solid. (And like seen here, some beautiful voices) I’d personally rate the series with an 8.3

also if you do decide to watch it, it is still a children shows so there are many episodes that are child like, especially season one till you get to Queen for a day then shit hits the fan, I believe that's like episodes 14 or 15 just an FYI

Varian and Cassandra are both voiced by broadways actors! Jeremy Jordan and Eden Espinosa respectively, that's why the vocal performances are amazing, especially when it involved these two!!
Scoot, listen to me and listen to me good! You HAVE to watch this series it’s SOOOO gooooood! There’s some filler episodes that I’m not a fan of, but they all add to the greater story. It’s all cannon. That’s what’s so good about this show! And the art style and animation is just *chef’s kiss*

I'm pretty late but i LOVE cassandra and varian (the girl and guy shown) they're both the good people and become villains for a while, but still go back to being good. And their backstory and just personality in general.

This show has a lot of good songs that match the quality of the ones from the original movie. Sure, there are some issues with the plot, but it's still worth checking out. A lot of people went into this cartoon thinking that they were watching it for Rapunzel or Eugene, but ended up liking Cassandra or Varian more by the end. pfft
The 2D puppet animation in this series is honestly really impressive. That rotating scene from Nothing Left to Lose in particular must have been really difficult to accomplish. Gotta give a lot of props to those animators.
Waiting in the Wings is what got me into the show. #CassandraDidNothingWrong and I still stand by that statement after watching the show!! lol
