@@Howaboutyes11 Oh my god I’m a huge fan of hers. She my favourite Elphaba In Wicked💚 She is the reason Cassandra is my favourite character in the series It’s my dream to be on Broadway and to play Elphaba
Eden wasn't that active mid 2010s on big production musicals. They scouted her mainly because she was Idina's standby for wicked, and since Frozen was already a hit, they sought after her as their they share the same vocal range and capabilities for a snow villain. Jeremy Jordan's casting was also done that way since he was in Newsies.
You need to know that this series takes place within the movie so if you are going to react to the series it is absolutely necessary to watch TANGLED THE MOVIE FIRST!
I just watched s1 and thought the writers were going overboard making Varian be so extra with his villain era, then I realized King Frederic was really going to invade his already broken down house. My boy had reason enough to be mad at everyone lol
Recommendations for this series: 1. Let me make you proud 2. Crossing the Line 3. Everything I ever thought I knew 4. Set yourself free 5. With you by my side 6. Buddy Song 7. Through it all 8. View from up here 9. Bigger than that 10. If I could take that moment back 11. The girl who has everything
This series has some absolute bangers @TheCanderemy recommended so many good ones I’d like to add: Rapunzels dark incantation song, I’ve Got This and Listen Up. I hope you watch the series 😊
YES you’ve got to watch the show!! Varian is my favorite, the boy in the first song. His arc is SO good, it makes him such a sympathetic character and the whole show is underrated. But you have to watch the Tangled movie first, otherwise you won’t understand the show.
I’m so glad in “ready as I’ll ever be” he realized varian wasn’t really the bad guy because of the lyrics. “I’ll make them hear me” cuz clearly he was fed up from being ignored
This series is generally pretty damn good. It has a couple kinda bad parts but I think it's overall really good. Definitely highly recommend you check out the series.
Cass is my favorite, and her music is THE BEST -> Waiting in the Wings + Reprise and Crossing the Line. And Varian too -> Ready As I’ll Ever Be and his duet with Cass Nothing Left To Lose. You have no idea how HAPPY I am to see you watch this series!!!!
Yeah all the songs with Varian and/or Cass are fire, iirc both of their VAs are more well known as broadway stars which explains how incredible their performances are in every song they feature in. Crossing the Line is my personal fav song from the series, highly recommend if you want to do a part 2!
Would definitely love to watch a tangled react! The series is great and has amazing songs and characters. Would make sure to check the order of what to watch first tho, since they confused me at first
@Scootx there's "Tangled before ever after" which is about kinda an hour long introduction to the kind of style of the series and what comes before the events of the series, and then there's "Repunzel's Tangled adventure" which is the series
@@Scootx No, there’s just a prequel movie to the series called Tangled:Before Ever After which happens after the original movie and is needed to understand the show itself, so if you do react to the show, you need to see the movie first (but please react to the show, it’s soooo good)
@Scootx theres not multiple series, but there is the movie, the series, and 2 minimovies to keep in mind for plot consistency. Yeah, I accidentally started with the series (having watched the movie years before) and was confused about how they kept referring to past events like we'd already seen them. I thought at first there would be a flashback episode to explain it, but it turned out there was a special that acted as a pilot for the show that is separate from it on Disney plus.
Both Varian and Cassandras voice actors are Broadway singers that's why there singing is so amazing Varian is voiced by Jeremy Jordan and Cassandra is voiced by Eden Espinosa a lot of the other singers are also from Broadway but there the two I know by name

loved this, hope you’ll be able to react to more of the show, it definitely has a slow pace to it, but when it it focuses on the story, the lore, and the characters, i think it does it really well
I need to see Jeremy (Varian) and Eden (Cassandra) in more musical stuff, they are such amazing singers 🤩 Also, everyone always recommends Ready As I'll Ever Be, Nothing Left to Lose, and Waiting in the Wings but Crossing the Line is SO good! It's a bit more spoilery (not anymore than Nothing Left to Lose) but honestly, that's my favorite performance in the show, Eden handles the lines toward the end perfectly.

Cassandra’s song Waiting in the Wings is my favourite song in the entire series. It’s so beautiful and Eden Espinosa who voices Cass did an amazing job with the song and the character herself. I mostly love Cass cause of Eden Espinosa herself. She my favourite Elphaba in Wicked💚
1:16 The kid (Varian) is the 1st seasons main antagonist but isn't actually bad, he just feels betrayed after rapunzel had to choose the kingdom over Varians dad. He redeams himself in season 3.

If you end up watching the series I recommend to watch the movie first, as Cassandra villain arc is tied to something happened in the movie (even tho she was not there but I can't spoil it)
The show is a lot better than I expected for a spinoff series of a disney movie. Seeing these songs and Crossing the Line on youtube got me to check the show out, and I recommend it.
This is a playlist of "Ready As I'll Ever Be" (song from the Tangled Series) videos of Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, and My Little Pony (which you have seen), and these are videos (in playlist) which you haven't seen (Amphibia, Wings of Fire, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians)

Another playlist is "Nothing Left to Lose" (song from the Tangled Series) videos of Steven Universe and My Little Pony and the same ones which you haven't seen (Amphibia and Wings of Fire)
Fun fact: The creator of the show saw the VA of the last song in a play and offered her a job after being blown away by her performance

Low-key, Tangled has the best songs of any animated series in the 2010s... not named Friendship is Magic. And it's a pretty solid series at that... well, at least during Season 2.
Also, Tangled's singers are better than Friendship is Magic... with the possible exception of Lena Hall (which is kind of cheating given that she's a Broadway sensation - which is why The Magic Inside kills it).
Scoot, listen to me and listen to me good! You HAVE to watch this series it’s SOOOO gooooood! There’s some filler episodes that I’m not a fan of, but they all add to the greater story. It’s all cannon. That’s what’s so good about this show! And the art style and animation is just *chef’s kiss*
Another playlist is "Nothing Left to Lose" (song from the Tangled Series) videos of Steven Universe and My Little Pony and the same ones which you haven't seen (Amphibia and Wings of Fire)
I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH
There another song called crossing the line omg that’s where she he hits her seeing voice, the girl who sing waiting in the wings ❤
