@🌿POPULATION-_-420☁ priority is saving the girl bruh, not being truthful to an hostage taker. He says he has a gun, the android makes him toss it, and he just loses an venue.
I loved how all 3 stories balance each other Connor = A cold machine learning how to empathize Marcus = An empathic android forced to become colder Kara = the victim of the other two sides colliding with each other
Personally I quite enjoyed Detroit. I like games like this as it's a nice breather from the usual and it's like a story I don't need to visualize myself.
typically other companies "never" will because a game with this much choice requires a shit ton of animations and overall production, which is why it took between 6 to 9 years (yes the first kara teaser was released in 2012). and also because the executives know that there could be parts that most people might never even see so they would think its a waste of money to have all that. im talking about the usual game developer btw, not quantic dream of course.
I guess I seemed oblivious to all the choice games out there in my comment.. I know there are games with choices similar, but they aren't done nearly as well as Detroit. I wish it was more of a major aspect in gaming.
4:53 The default camera is set to cinematic so yes it's quite hard to navigate, but actually you can look around freely by using scanning sight. Just press L2.
I like how this portrays robots in the force. We can expect robots to be put in the force for highly dangerous situations that would or could result in the death of an officer. They wouldn't probably be sentient but rather controlled by a policeman.
2:12 that sounds pretty scary, I don't want cameras inside but maybe outside around the parameter. Honestly wouldn't even feel safe with any cameras lol
there's nothing wrong with having your own cameras in places. The concerns come from having things like nest or ring cameras which are constantly uploading to the internet and are easily hacked
One of my favorite games! We need a sequel, dammit! The fact that he says that some of these technological advances exist _today_ is mindboggling! I love those outtakes at the end. LOL
@@MartinKusimo I know! And I want Connor and Hank back. It’d be cool if you could maybe play Chloe or something, too! Maybe even as Kamski. That would be interesting.
Thanks for the entertaining videos! Some of your videos like this one have your host mic panned to one side and I'm guessing the camera mic panned to the other, suggest you take care in choosing one and panning it to the center as it's pretty distracting especially when watching on headphones.
Okay this was actually quite scary to watch a cop play this and not do well. My first playthrough of this game with no idea what to expect... a saved the fish, learned the androids name, searched all the clues, DIDNT PICK UP THE GUN, edged closer all the time i was talking to the deffective android onb the roof, comforted him, waved the chopper away, and sacrificed myself to save the girl and take out the android. What this REAL LIFE COP DID... actually makes me worry even more about police training.
The way he picked up the gun the minute he saw the 'Take' option before the game could even finish loading the screen mentioning the fact it would be illegal for an Android to have a gun.
Oh it's Chris again! Hey gamology can we have him reacting to the need for speed most wanted (2005) chases? Radio chatter, attack patterns, moves, strategies, call outs etc
I love Chris, great guy, great attitude, what I do not love is that while it certainly will be a great help, technological surveillance advancement brings an ever more restricted society. I do not understand people who buy a alexa for themselves or put cameras around in their homes. does it make you feel more secure? maybe, but the possibilities for misuse, whether that is private or g overnmental, is simply something we do not talk about much in our nowadays society. same for the implications of this game: should we even have "smart" weapon systems in the first place? how may that be a breach to ethics? will this lead to even more dehumanization of targets or foes because you do not look them in the eye personally before you pull the trigger, but automate these tasks, bearing the possibility to use that in an overambitious way. what about the judicial grounds, everyone has the right to a defendant and so on and so forth. instead he is like: "yep, seems cool, look forward to it". I would wish police themselves but also we as a society have a much wider discussion about this.
So obviously the gameplay is edited. He went from 50% to 100% immediately somehow, which is not how that scene works. I think what it was actually displaying was how terrible cops are at de-escalation
"whereever there's holes, we put these rods through."

I knew someone wrote it
28 STAB WOUNDS!
I like your name and profile picture
I figured someone would put that line up And low and behold it’s the first thing I see when scrolling through the comments

At least the Connor bits

Yes
SWAT vs the Spec Ops guys

When you refused to get rid of the chopper I though no what are you doing? But wow it worked out. Lol
I wonder if Chris would either play 911 Operator or 112 Operator and see how it feels like to be a Dispatcher.
California PDs would shoot through 2 crowds of people and that little girl to stop a J-walker.
