For the snowman wither rose farm you could place another dispenser underneath the first with shears to get the pumpkins back.
That scene was *so painful* for me to watch him literally reinvent Ianxofour's rose farm (which I recently upgraded in my world to use an auto-collection system and auto-crafting).

ianxo4 made a wither rose farm using the same concept but by recycling the pumpkins too, maybe it could be nearly automatic with auto crafting for the snow blocks
Hey Xisuma! You can use a dispenser to shear the pumpkin off the snow golem, this will allow you to infinitely reuse them!

That's basically the wither rose farm Pixlriff's uses, you can automate the carved pumpkin head removal so you don't need to keep re-crafting them

Yeah, it's an Ianxofour design, I belive. It doesn't autocraft blocks, of course, so that's an interesting idea.

I feel like Wool St. needs dedicated spaces for the various wool products; a store for Wool blocks called "Wolves in Sheep's Clothing," a Carpet store (name TBD), a Banner store called "Marked Territory," a Bed store (name TBD), and a Painting store called "Dogs Playing Poker." 🐺🐑
I think it would be cool for all of the Wolf of Wool Street members to have different wolf mask based on the new wolf variants coming out.

The dispenser CAN shear your snowman to reuse your pumpkins.
There is an existing farm tutorial or two out there utilising this method to farm wither roses

yes! i was looking for someone explaining how the wither healed itself! It isn't because it isn't hitting itself, it's because it heals by killing snow golems faster than it dies!

IanXofour has automated that style snowman it’s a perfect simple farm for wither roses
IanXoFour has an automatic wither rose farm using the same idea you used in this video. It removes the pumpkins from the snowsmans so it’s never running out.
I think the only part that is not automatized is the snow block, but using the crafter and a dropper you could run it until the shears are all break.
IanXofour has a wither rose farm exactly like this one and he uses another dispenser with shears to remove the carved pumpkin so you can keep reusing them
If u run out of "face blocks" you can use chiseled nether brick as it is literally just a face on it
You could put the dispenser and dropper faced guardians together like brothers.

Chiseled Bookcase kinda has a face if you remove the top middle book.
You basically build half of ianxofour's "Instant Wither Rose Farm"! You should take a look at it, it is a super simple design that is unreasonably effective.
Hey X, Ian has made a similar wither rose farm, you can automate the pumpkin part by shearing the snow golems and with the new crafters I am sure you can fully automate the process. FYI for the snow golems wither rose farm, ianxofour made a fully automated design that also uses snow golems and the end portal and perfectly recycles all the pumpkins and snow, and is also ridiculously quick and easy to setup!
but it might also be fun trying to figure out a design on your own
14:00 This is GENIUS: it's the easiest way to get wither roses.
Have the dispenser shear them as they fall into the wither rose farm, and then you get the pumpkins back, and then you don't have to carve them again.

Withers heal when they kill players/mobs ("vampiric" regeneration, on top of their normal regeneration). They're unaffected by their own explosive attacks; the wither was exclusively dying of suffocation damage.
You can use a dispensor to shear a snow boy and remove it's carved pumpkin. This returns the carved pumpkin to you.
For farming some Witherroses in the End you could also:
1. Spawn lots of Chicken with eggs
2. Bread as much chickens as possible
3. Spawn the Wither (Kills Chicken with the explosion)
4. Collect many Witherroses
The wolves selling sheep’s clothing line is so good.
IanXofour already showed a brilliant snowman witherrose farm. Where you get the pumpkin heads back as well.

Dude, seeing season 6 again was awesome! That was my first season watching hermitcraft and it really was something special. I honestly think it was the best season so far
XiSwami - with the flying machine, perhaps put a row of stone slabs on the underside of the slime blocks. They should hand low enough to wipe the babies and won't interfere with any other blocks.
I love the leaf canopy in your storage room. Suggestion: tree trunk surrounding the beacons with a few holes in it so you can still the beacon light peeping through.
Also. Don't forget about chiseled blocks. In particular the blackstone snout looks like a person peeping through goggles.
Just needed another dispenser with shears, right underneath the pumpkin dispenser, the pumpkin head gets sheared off the golems on the way down and recycles the pumpkins
the reason the wither didn't hurt itself when you summoned a lot of snowmen is because when the wither kills things it regenerates itself

Pixlriffs did the Wither/Snow golem thing on the survival guide recently with a dispenser auto shearing them and it was really neat

I'd argue that chiseled sandstone among a good few more of the chiseled decorative blocks have faces.

Trying to push the babies with the adult zombie piglins here 18:19 reminds me of those coin pusher games at arcades. I can imagine using armor stands for the coins. Could have potential for a fun little mini game

speaking of season 6, i remember when you guys updated from 1.13 to 1.14 all the mobs despawned, so you mentioned after the season is done there will be the regular end-of-season world download plus additionally a backup from just before the update. that 2nd world download never actually was made public tho. i guess you guys simply forgot about that

Season Six's layout was really amazing, bases were right up against each other and the SD.
a while ago i figured out that you really only need to bonemeal the flowering azalea bushes, as those trees grow with both types of leaves

The Wither was actually regenerating because of a mechanic that regenerates the withers health when it does damage to other mobs.
One of the loudest places? X obviously has not operated the Wood farm Doc build. I suggest you ask him to try it, X. And when doing so, imagine running such a machine IRL.
The baby zombie piglin problem can be solved using a second full block below the slime block. This would require changing the flying machine design so that these added blocks are still under push limit, but two flying machines isn't much more effort compared to one flying machine.

You can shear the snow men to conserve your pumpkins (snow in one hand, shears in the other) :)
did you forget the snow golem farm you made last season? sheer the pumkins off the heads of the snow golems so you get the pumpkins back before they get killed
On a different note than a lot of these comments: X was one obscure mechanic away from figuring out a very efficient wither rose farm on the first try. That's neat.
The gold farm though... I kinda feel like with a platform of that size turtle eggs would be easier to do than a flying machine?
The baby piglins aren't actually slowing down the spawn rates much, since the farm never reaches mob cap. They do take up possible spawn locations though.
You're gonna need a horn with a wolf howl on it to call to eachother.
Since the day when colored paths were added to nether roof, I've been wondering how the wool blocks were putted on the blackstone layer, and only now I realized that they are just carpets xD
For the Piglin farm, add in some turtle eggs on the ends in line with the glass at eye-level with the baby piglins to help lure them towards the edge!
adding some glass block6s to the underside of the slime blocks would take care of the small piglins too
You should send a custom order for Wolf Howl horns to Cub. Either realistic, or get a hermit to record themselves howling.

You can shear the golems for their heads, so in theory you could automate their production
I think what I love the most about Hermitcraft from watching all these years (I jumped in at the start of season 5), is that all of the hermits that I watch sound happier with every season. The easier way to get lots of wither roses is to have a mob (either snowmen or chicken) down to 1 health (poison is your friend) and then have them killed by the initial blast when the wither is summoned.
I love the keralis tree farm. Not every redstone machine needs to be perfectly optimized. I appreciate seeing people create these machines just from their imagination
I'm hardly a redstone expert but seeing the problem with the shorties, the thought stuck my mind: just make the flyers half as wide and put some other block under the sticky blocks.
Hi xisuma! For the baby zombie pigmen, you could also include a couple of turtle eggs on the edges so they attempt to pathfind? I know you said they do not wander because you’re so far away, but it might help a bit?

you cant shear pumpkins with a dispenser, but you can shear a snow golem with one and get the carved pumpkin back
