you are really skilful. I tried removing the key cap but the scissor part came out with the key as well. I had to remove the scissor switch parts and had a hard time figuring out which piece should go in which direction. Luckily your video has close up shots so I tried my best to find clues on the right alignment of the scissor switches. Hope the problem could go away. Thanks.
@@blueberryblair2799 look at close up shots like the one at 2:20, and compare every hole and detail of your parts at hand to find out the right orientation of the scissors going together, as long as they are still 2 whole pieces should be able to come together
I just spills coffee and really tempted to do this because i want to clean it out thoroughly even tho it's work perfectly fine because I'm quick at my hands to clean it up but I'll see for a few days to see if something wrong or didn't work before do this but thank you~

It’s in the keyboard and language settings; different on each OS. Basically, we choose US Dvorak in the setting. The default is US international (at least on my laptop).

@@jchuang75 The same thing happened to me. This means the plastic tabs at the bottom of the switch are broken & it can’t be reinstalled. It looks like you can buy replacement keys online. I didn’t want to bother with that so I just took the switch from the right ctrl key bc i never use that key. & then i hot glued the right control keycap into place for esthetics.
Bro I took out some of mine and now those little things under the keys came loose and came out and now they won’t go back in thanks for helping other people though seriously
I have that experience too. All I do is took one again carefully so the scissor mechanism intact (those little things under the key), and I put back the loose one by rearanging based on the thing that’s still intact.
I’ve been trying for ages and I just can’t get this key to snap back on. Edit: Turn out one of the clips for the key snapped off when I removed the key, so now I permantly have no B key. 😢

You did not show how you reprogrammmed the KB.

Hi! Do you know how to install the right alt and ctrl key? I have the exact same keyboard and I can't get those keys to be seated correctly.
I have a similar issue. The left ctrl key fell out and I cannot seat it correctly. It comes off if I press near the bottom of the key.

Make sure the alignment is correct. It’s little bit tricky because of round shape.
