I was so intrigued by this challenge that I actually did it myself as well as the Stormcloak campaign. Vegetable soup with the 5x shield bash damage perk even with a normal shield is OP
Interesting. It seems bleed works the same as it does in Fallout 4 then, which makes sense. So because you're able to bash multiple times during the bleed duration, the bleed affect actually stacks making it much stronger than intended. Normally you wouldn't be able to bash so frequently and sustain it but the soup allows for that. It's a cheeky, Spiff-level exploit and I love it!
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I was like "Hey, that's the Targe of the Blooded!" I recognized it despite the fact I have NEVER used it, ever. I always collect it eventually, but my play styles do not utilize Block in any way.
Mine do, but never WITH a shield. I max out my 2h and block trees, for block runner, shield charge and great critical charge. You can get an instant critical, AND blow the victim halfway across the room.
There's a cabin named pinewatch up near your first player owned house in the Falkreath hold that has a mid-level bandit in the basement compared to your level at all times. There's only one bandit and there's a bed that you can stand on and the Bandit will go across to the other side of the room while you heal and whatnot. I found that I can gain a lot of XP sitting down there blocking.
I was surprised too, honestly. I'd just finished watching his Daedric Artifacts run and the playlist popped up. I was immediately hit with the realization that time has passed.

Shield 100 with vegetable soup, the Targe, deadly bash, the ability to move normally, and send people flying when running is easily peak skyrim. Pair with destruction magic and you are unstoppable
So, about the dragon-shield propulsion. What I think happened is this: You smacked a draugr or two. Dragon lands on draugr, who fit between its head and wing. You smacked draugr again, immobilizing them again and making them stagger back. While draugr recovered, you smacked dragon. Dragon went into recoil animation, which pushes its wings slightly closer to its body. Draugr is there and Skyrim physics says two entities can't intersect. Since there is no space for draugr to move, dragon has to. Dragon is pushed sideways, which dislodges draugr. However, dragon's wing now threatens to intersects with draugr. So draugr moves since now there is space to the side. But now draugr is threatening to intersect with dragon's body, so dragon moves again, on top of the original movement. This once again means the wing is threatening to intersect with draugr. Thus, the cycle repeats with ever increasing momentum as the dragon drags draugr along until they just slide off the cliff. They will keep going like this until draugr escapes.
