- In this video we start the rebuild process for the Ford Fiesta ST150. Still waiting on the new PCV pipe and the drive belt but slowly getting there.
This should be back up and running in the next instalment
Those strut top grommets - personally haven't had any luck with them when installed on my fiesta. Water was still coming through but actually grommets have done things even worse because they were preventing the water to evaporate. They had to come off and went straight into the bin.

I done the same to the bracket under battery tray, used a rotary wire brush in a cordless drill which helped. The top engine mount was knackered , it looked ok but was badly perished, so changed it. May wanna check yours.
When I get to it I am going to go to town with it and use a drill and attachments to really get to the problem areas. I reckon mine is original one so will definitely be checking it 😂
@@DJLloydy Mine spent most of its life in Aberdeen, plenty of that salty North Sea air Lots of surface rust underneath but getting through it with Jenolite and giving a coating of undercoat after. As you’ve said before, I’m never gonna sell mine either, bloody love em.
@mrdaveh6016 I can only imagine what it looked like underneath, I have a few patches to look at when I fit coilovers to the car soon in the arches. I’m looking at that raptor paint for them to give them a good solid protection. I currently have a love hate relationship with this car so can’t promise it gets sold now 😂😂🙈

@@DJLloydy tell me about it I must of jinxed myself couldn’t make it up the pipes from the coolant tank are plastic one has split and left me with a puddle of coolant this morning good job I have spares lol 😂
Haha no way!! Those pipes are so brittle it’s a joke, funnily enough mine have broken recently 🙈

Yes the Fiesta is a 2.0 engine but shockingly only getting 150bhp 😂 there are a few about still and some going for silly money but low mileage ones. Mine has been halfway to the moon and back 😭
