TRAM-tastic Birmingham: opening day of the Metro extension to Edgbaston Village

I'm in Birmingham on Sunday 17th July 2022, the day that passenger tram services commenced on the new West Midlands Metro extension from Library to Edgbaston Village
Join me as I explore the new extension which, as well as the new terminus at Edgbaston Village, has brand new intermediate stops at Brindleyplace and Five Ways

Rome trolleybuses are part overhead and part battery. What I would like to know is, does the driver get a reminder to lower the pantograph ? (I'm not sure what happens in Rome; the battery section is within the old city from Porta Pia).
