If you can't tell that the Bible is there same myth... There's a magic man in the sky judging you when you're sleeping and awake... If you're good all year (all your life) you will be rewarded but if you are bad you will get a lump of coal (go to hell). These myths are clearly aimed at blind obedience.

Right. I remember being scared outta my mind, but being forced to do it to get a picture. I'm literally crying my eyes out, pushing him away in the picture. I never did that to my kids. We've never gone to see Santa. But we did do the whole lieing that Santa is real, until 3 yrs ago. My husband just felt too guilty lieing to them, because he remembers how bad he felt when he figured out his mother had been lieing to him. So we came clean. They took it pretty well, considering they were 7 and 5. The older one figured out that we were the Easter Bunny, before we came clean about Santa. She's a smart kid. Most kids are. At least way smarter than they are given credit for. It's weird to, because we don't lie to them about anything else and just kind of went on auto pilot with the Santa and Easter Bunny thing without really putting much thought into it. It's crazy how brainwashed we all are, by almost every aspect of society. To the point of doing so many things automatically, without giving it a second thought.

My friend told me about its the Drs/scientist that wear white coats that are the ones it's meant about from the bible verse Matthew 7:15. Since then I've read whole bunch more books and it's clear. The best books I've read were world without cancer the vitamin b17 cure. By g edward griffin. I love him. Then the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca skloot. My friend told me so much but most thing struck me was he said the judicial system is so flawed because you wonder how these criminals get out to Re offend they commit horrible crimes, it's reason they're let out is to justify their, the whole gangs of the laws existence. I believe if you attack an innocent person, cause them bodily harm one time, without provocation you should be jailed forever. That will stop these horrific crimes in USA. But you see that our society is engineered to be so horrible. I feel like I'm living in a twilight episode in real time. Did you know there are books expressly written to teach the people/kids to self destruct? Did you see the state eithermassachusettes or one just passed full term abortion law?

Good idea. That's what I want to do. It's not like I'd let my child think that Cinderella or Peter Pan are real life figures if they asked me if they were real, I see Santa Claus the same way. I mean, you can still enjoy and love something that you KNOW is pretend. I mean, we read our kids FICTION books as their first books and we let them know it's not real but it's fun to pretend and enjoy pretending fun things like Narnia, Neverland, Oz, and Wonderland are real; but they still imagine the fictional places being real when they are pretending even if they know it's fake.

Well, this is expected to happen when a society loses faith in it's own identity and wants nothing to do with the traditions of their predecessors.
Same thing with names, no more John or William but now we get Free Moon Lightbulb the Second instead.
You are living proof of the signs of the demise of the West.
I'm not defending Christmas here, just stating these are some of the signs of a dying people group. In this case those of European descent. It started with the hippies as we all know.
Side note: I know very little (none actually) people who were "crushed" by finding out the "truth about santa". I guess if a child is intelligent enough he will slowly find out himself, perhaps a good training exercise for being able to find out about lies in the future.

I was always afraid of Santa. When my grandparents went to all the trouble of renting a Santa suit for my grandfather to donn so I could catch a glimpse of him, while grandpa was banging around in the living room trying to make enough noise to rouse me from bed, I pulled the covers up over my head & hunkered down, (a) because they'd always told me that Santa wouldn't come if I didn't go to sleep (guess they forgot about that little detail of their web if lies), & (b) because there was a strange man in our living room in the middle of the night, knocking stuff over & talking really loud, like he'd had too much to drink, & if there's anything scarier than Santa, it's Santa drunk. I was terrified! Grandpa didn't drink, by the way. He was just trying to get me to come out of my room to investigate the noise. But I was a good girl & I knew the rules. I was supposed to be sound asleep when Santa showed up. All I could do was lie there very still & pray to God he didn't realize that I was awake (after all, he knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake), & horror of horrors, that he didn't come in my room! The chimney was in the living room, the tree was in the living room, I'd left the milk & cookies (& a carrot for Rudolph) out there too. He had no reason to wander our house beyond that room, I decided. To this day I don't know whether or not my grandpa came into my room that Christmas Eve dressed as Santa because I never peeked out from beneath the covers. I was paralyzed with fear! I must have been 4 or 5. I'll be 53 this year, but I still recall the terror that coursed through my veins that night as I laid there trying not to move a muscle or make a sound, wishing he would hurry up & be on his way so I could finally breathe a sigh of relief, having survived my close brush with Santa himself.without being discovered, just like it was yesterday. THAT's how traumatic it was! In later years my grandparents laughed about the whole fiasco, but I never saw much humor in it. It felt like entrapment at the time, like Santa was intentionally making all that noise so that when I got up to investigate, he could spirit himself back up the chimney, taking all my presents with him because I had violated the rule about being asleep when he arrived. I never had children, & that's probably a good thing. I don't know if I could have inflicted that kind of terror on an innocent child, all in the pursuit of carrying on a holiday tradition!
I feel a similar sentiment towards the beloved & iconic television series "I Love Lucy." I think that Lucille Ball, for a period of time, was probably responsible for much of the domestic violence & high divorce rates in this Country. Watching the series in re-run as a little girl, I was basically being taught that not only was it OK to be deceitful & manipulative to your husband, putting the household's livelihood in jeopardy in pursuit of your own selfish & delusional desires, but that this sort of behavior was funny, laughable! It's NOT OK to deceive & manipulate your husband, to potentially damage his career! It's definitely no laughing matter! That's the kind of s**t that destroys lives. At best it's no way to treat someone you supposedly love, & should respect!
American institutions & their twisted narratives. And we wonder why people in other countries sometimes find our "culture" bizarre & offensive, why they don't want their children exposed, Indoctrinated into this Western "culture." Look at the ways we damage our children, make them into broken adults. When you strip away the trappings of "tradition" & "icon" & look at the American experience at face value, we perpetuate some pretty f'd up stuff! You gotta wonder who set us on this path, & as a means to what end?

You might think they're too young to be thinking about these things, but I remember being a child and having thoughts that I didn't think anyone would understand. I was probably 6 when I had the idea of the government not being friendly. I saw my parents constantly stressed and fighting over what the government could control and fix, and when I asked my parents about it, they shot me down and told me that I was just too young to comprehend how the world worked. I started questioning everything then, and I've never stopped. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for, and if you try to talk to your kids when they're young and fighting brainwashing, they're going to be a lot smarter as they grow.

For starters, you can know God and that he exists and enter into a covenant of love with him, the only thing that prevents that is an unwillingness on our part, or improper theology that leads to the inevitable conclusions that you can't know God. And secondly, Melissa didn't just make this video for all of humanity at large, she knows where the viewership comes from and who engages with her content and when she says "you guys" it's definitely consciously addressed to those people. What is the purpose of a comment like "you can only love a person in the particular, not abstract humanity"? This isn't a philosophical debate about epistemology and metaphysics, I was simply thanking her for what I thought was a nice gesture. If it makes you feel better to try and take that away or make it into something else, go for it, but I'm not sure what it accomplishes.

    • @magdalal1342

not really. CPS doesnt watch, they only come if they are called, and it takes a LOOOOT of abuse for them to actually take the kids away. i know from personal experience and childhood friends.
edit: maybe i am wrong and just lucky. i wasnt defending them though. i still think CPS is corrupt and evil. i said it takes a lot of abuse because they should have removed several friends of mine from their parents when we were kids but didnt. let rapists run free, left kids with druggies and alcoholics, favored narcissistic parents over the good parents. did nothing to help whatsoever. then again probably good that they didnt remove them.

Or cuz some had Penny's on their TV stand. And btw drugs nor violence involved. If a person makes a false report here they take your kids untill proven innocent.

And yet another model for "cognitive dissonance":
    1) Santa has all of the attributes of a creepy pedo, but with sweet toys.
    2) Charity and good will are more strongly associated with superficial consumerism than the sanctification of the soul.
    3) During a child's most critical stage of mental development, Santa takes precedence over God. Presents and decorations are far more palpable to a concrete thought process than a life everlasting.
    4) Once the children have been "enlightened" to the lie, the dominoes of mistrust fall towards both their parents and society, while the children are inadvertently taught to interpret the discovery of a lie and the dissemination of deceit as rites of passage.
    5) This revelation further results in one of the first and (for many) the most impressionable crack in their shield of Faith. "Proof" later becomes God, "Faith" becomes Satan, and the hypocrisy of an empty/outward belief in their local community's pet religion is justified under the heading, "The ends justify the means".
    6) Finally for some, these children will grow up to learn that nearly everything "proven" in their religion of facts all just turned out to be another level of the big "lie".
But because they've been programmed so well to be afraid of the "unknown", they would rather embrace the familiarity of Fear, rather than accept the necessity of Faith... and so they despair.
The best traps are the ones disguised as treasure, and the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

When my daughter was little she had such a vivid imagination, to the point where she had trouble discerning fiction from non-fiction, it was actually one of the things that was so endearing about her three year old self. I told, and sold, her the lie about Santa. She believed completely. Although she possessed a giant imagination, she also was very inquisitive, and had a constant stream of questions, to which I always answered truthfully. When she was seven my husband and I began our truth seeking journey. During that time my daughter asked me point blank if Santa was real. I told her that he was not. She was crushed and bewildered as to why I had lied to her about such an important thing. She had truly believed that what I had told her was real. Huge parent fail. I had to tell her how sorry I was, but that I wasn't lying now about things that were unseen, such as the Creator of all things. She was skeptical now, and I had caused that in her. It's been four years since we last celebrated Christmas and we have added children to our home that don't even know what "Santa" is. HalleluYah. Thank you for all that you and your husband do. Your channel has certainly influenced our family to continue to ask questions, to keep an open mind, and to test all things. Even though the truth can be hard to swallow I would much rather live in it than anything else. Keep up the good work.

But I was not not the least bit disappointed, I was relieved to know the truth & later that year when I tried to tell my cousins that are my age that Santa doesn't exist. They got upset & asked their parents if Santa exists & they told them Yes & my cousins did not believe me but I felt sorry for them that they believed in a lie, that they were being lied to. So I've always been a free thinker since I was a child & now that the NWO technocracy is in full rage & our rights are being eviscerated is the reason why the last few days I have been thinking of that experience of telling my cousins the truth when we were children & how today everyone, children & adults are living a living in a matrix of media/gov't lies.

There's a reason why so many kids are so happy to not tell the younger kids, because we know it made us happy to believe in Santa. It's fantasy and make believe, which kids adore, it's not lies. X-mas was originally Saturnalia. It is not “Christian” beyond misplaced good intentions. I was raised in a family that did not celebrate x-mas and it’s amazing the pressure I endured from school mates and teachers just because of non-conformity. I love this video. I love the way you and Aaron think. Thank you for everything you do.

Jasmine Jennings That’s false. Only certain Protestants believe such nonsense. Christians always celebrate Christ’s birth. Look up the Nativity Fast.

Santa Claus to the contemporary or modern mind has just become and is commercial cash-grab figurehead for secular celebrations and consumerism around Christmastime, at best. The real Santa Claus is Saint Nicholas who was a Greek Bishop from Myra in Asia Minor around the 300s, and attended the First Ecumenical Council Nicaea. In the west, his feast day in held on December 6th. St. Nicholas is highly regarded in the Eastern Orthodox Church, which is mostly how I even know anything about him.
I hope you may find this information edifying.

@@TheRealRealOK does king james mention chrismas anywhere? it is a masonic celebration of demiurge... the church tried to impose tgese on the real followers of savior, and persecuted thise who refused.. they persecuted them in the early days, then as cathars, burned ppl like bruno and tried to do the same with luther.. but u cannot do it anymore. real christianity triumphs over your demiurge worship

@@mostlydead3261 What do you know of the Christians of old? Do you even know any Church History prior to 1500? And I mean real Church History, not the Protestant propaganda of 'well garsh, the church sold out to Constantine and everything prior to Luthers revolt from the evil roman catholic church was false, uh-ugh.' (Goofy voice)
Point being the Feast of Christ's Nativity is definitely not 'demiurge worship or a masonic ritual.'
Ever notice how the world and perhaps people like yourself seem to always attack the legitimacy of Christmas and Pascha (easter), arguably the two most significant Feast days the Church celebrates? With attacking the Feast of the Nativity, you undermine the reality of Christ Incarnation - the Birth of God in the Flesh. With Pascha then, you undermine our Lord's Resurrection which without being True makes Christianity to be a farce.
Please reconsider your current position after a real study of Church History. I can provide links and resources for you if you'd like.

@White Mountains Of Arizona, you have absolutely no proof that St. Nicholas was a Nicolation besides the fallacious reasoning of trying to loosy string similar sounding words together. Name and word mixing nonsense. It is as dumb as a atheist claiming that the English letter 'J' didn't exist in Biblical times, therefore Jesus never existed.
Besides this, St. Nicholas wasn't around until the 300s - well after the Nicolations. The Nicolations that you're address from your quote existed in the Apostolic Era of Church History - meaning when the Apostles where still alive. Which makes sense because St. John the Evangelist wrote the Book of the Revelation.
Hope this was edifying for you.

I have been trying to hint at this with my significant other and family, that I dont feel comfortable lying to my child, and they get wicked hostile if I even try to suggest that maybe its not a good thing to do, and that I dont like lying to her, even just asking them their thoughts they get pissed off and dismissive and argumentative, to the point where I feel like if I were to tell her they may all disown me.

One of my coworkers from years ago told me that his two biggest regrets in raising his two sons was 1. Lying to them about Santa 2. Sending them to public school.
Unfortunately both his sons fell into heavy drug addiction in their late teens.

Also what about when parents get a kick out of finally revealing that Santa is not real??? Like crushing the child dreams is a funny after you have sold them the dream their whole life.

Not Jewish! Don’t agree with lying to children. Please look up what your celebrating! It has nothing to do with Jesus! It’s time for us to stop believing everything we are told. And start researching everything! If your cool with lying to your kids, go ahead I can’t tell you what to do. All I can do is tell you what I won’t do and what I hate. I apologize if that upsets you.
