- Every cycling trip begins with its first pedal push. The plan was to travel five countries in 5 days cycling the bike. We left Kilkenny and headed for the capital, Dublin, Ireland. Ferry to Holyhead and our first stop over in Bangor.

Gutted I couldn't make the leg from the ferry to Bangor 😪 And yeah, you were on the A55, a 70 mph dual carriageway, but cycling is allowed 🤣
Ah no panic pal, would have been a bit of craic. You might have got us a safer route as well 🤣 bikes should never be allowed on that road 🫣

We were on it before we knew what was going on. After the second car blowing past us we knew it was a bit dodge 🤣 I’m sure their must be a better way to Bangor but the map gave us that.
Please, please, please stay off the A55!
Survived it once, not to be tried again. Should definitely be classed as a motorway!! Squeaky bum time for a while on it
