I saw that at the launch of Air2s DJI announced that there would be an immersive experience including a photo of a pilot wearing goggles. I ended up buying the equipment believing in this promise. I recently emailed DJI inquiring about compatibility and they replied that there is no prediction as to whether or not there will be compatibility. I was disappointed.
Best Air2s video I’ve seen on UA-cam yet!! LMAO. SO TRUE though, I was the first person to walk out of BestBuy on the release morning here in my town.., only to be let down! :(

I waited too long so I got the goovis lite and the mirror cast works better you get 4k and 43ppd no screen door effect and it's about 3 to 4x sharper, it WORKS BETTER, works on all drones because it cast wirelessly simple just use 5g to prevent lag and your phone MUST be 5g COMPATIBLE WIFI to connect to mirror cast, I can confirm it works even if you buy or plan to buy the dji goggles can't transmit more than 2k, but on your phone with 5g WiFi it can transmit 4k to mirorcast so what you see on phone is what you see in the goovis lite
we really need programmers who like drones as well haha. so that can help to unlock a lot of things like frequency paring to any drone/controller/Chromecast into the goggles.
I think they either discovered some technical thing that made it impossible to implement, e.g. overheating on the drone making it crash etc, OR they just decided to reserve this feature for the future Mavic 3 Pro to sell more of those instead making a bigger profit.
DJI is it for the profit first and foremost, what the customer wants Is just a rough guideline. If you need another example the last couple of versions of their new drones that they ship out aren’t even ready for prime time and they’re letting the customer troubleshoot it for them sad indeed unfortunately they’re the best on the market and they know it
I believe the update was just a connection guide for the fpv combo and not the air 2s. The app works for both drones, so it may look like it relates to the air 2s, when it's only the dji fpv drone. That is, unless there's been another update I'm not aware of🤔

I really wish this would happen still as the Air 2s is a great drone and I fly fpv drones all fitted with the dji fpv systems so I have the Dji v2 goggles. Dji are a fustrating company they do have the market stitched up for most things drones. This option for using the goggles would just be the best option and open the door to more sales like it did with the first advertising of the air 2s
We are still waiting for their "Future updates" as well 😅. I think it might have to do with 3 axis gimbals disorienting new fpv pilots, but who knows. COME ON DJI! 🤣

I've thought about this. You could then have another person operate the camera via touch screen.. Would love to hear about it 🤘
