Agree 💯%. There's a lawn care channel I watch on UA-cam (a couple actually) that mow people's overgrown lawns for free when they can't do it themselves and can't afford to hire it done. Some commenters really dog them for telling they did it for free. But these sweet young men have inspired viewers to do things like cutting their own elderly or sick neighbors' lawns without asking for, or wanting anything in return. How beautiful is that. Share, I say. Share your good deeds.
I love this I don't think it negates the good deed, I think it's inspiring. I'm starting out in my own home and I remember the struggle of birthdays and holidays when I was really struggling to provide for my little one. As well as the massive support we got from the community. Fortunately I was always able to give her a great cake if nothing else. I've been wanting to donate birthday cakes to some kids that might not otherwise really be able to do much. At first I was thinking about doing individual kids but then I thought about their siblings. I would love to sponsor a family or two a year (depending on family size) and donate some specialty cakes for each kid for a full birthday rotation.
