- First time back out camping after the nightmare in the lake district. Actually felt quite anxious heading out but wanted to get it done ASAP.
A great little camp out in Northumberland which i really enjoyed. Using the LEDlenser H19R headtorch for the first time was also brilliant.

That Parrot beer sounds ace. Although it looks like it's discontinued now. ☹ I'll keep and eye out for it, but I doubt there's anywhere that sells it down here.

Nice relaxing camp some of the beers sounded lovely ! I have a ledlenser P7r hand torch honestly such well made bit of kit you wont be disappointed ! All the best !

Spot on mate, that head torch throws some light out 👌, there’s a good few places on top of the housey crags, ideal for a soulo, but not ideal if it’s windy as it’s exposed. I’ve just got the ledlenser lantern like you have, it’s a great lightweight lantern 👍, I would take spending a night in the hills over the pub any day mate, atb Mick 👍
Really great torch mate although abit bulky but I'd defo be safe than sorry and carry the extra weight. When that headtorch went off half way down the fell in the lakes it was a good prompt to buy better quality lol all the best brother

I would choose camping and outdoor all day over pubs myself marra good tourch and I do hope them cans weren't 8 quid each like the last one on your last vid lol enjoy mate good times 👍

It's really good mate. Bulky but so bright
I try to leave no trace , but once, my Akto got ripped out of the ground in a strom with 90mph forcast winds, with me dragged along hanging onto a guyline till the gust died.. God knows where the pegs ended up. Thought it funny at the time with the thought that it might have rained tent pegs on some poor sod on an adjacent hill.
🤣🤣🤣 if they're hilleberg pegs they can rain on me haha
@@TheMackemMountaineer That is the advantage of hilleberg tents - less likely to tear if pierced by a shower of tentpegs.
I got olight perun 2 it's a beast but bit cumbersome mind u got battery on back so evens it worth forking out on decent kit even if got save
Agree. The headtorch I had on thay nightmare vlog was rubbish and partly to blame for the bad experience. All the best
