I flew on Thai. Food was bad, but aside from that, I didn’t have many issues with the airlines, though I was forced to check one of my bags in due to being overweight. I would say Singapore’s main terminal might be bigger than Bangkok. However, Dubai has the biggest terminal building though.
These seats are basically the same Stelia Solstys as Asiana🇰🇷. The way you tell them apart from the South Koreans is the seat fabric TG Purple🇹🇭 but OZ🇰🇷 Light Brown fabric.
As a Thai person, I would like to explain that Thai Airways is still undergoing a business recovery plan. This caused the need to bring some old aircraft back into use to save the airline's budget. But the latest good news is that the airline has just ordered a B787 aircraft. 45 new boats On behalf of the Thai people, I apologize here. We are still developing.😊😊
I think Thai are well meaning but they are similar to all the mainland Chinese carriers - they just can’t find their way around bureaucracy and implement the higher standards you see on emirates or Singapore .
I actually think Thai is better than Xiamen airlines and Cathay Pacific, though food was garbage on Thai unlike with Cathay. I haven’t been in Singapore airlines since 2013, so I don’t know they are post-COVID. I can say that I like scoot a lot more than Thai despite scoot is a low cost, but when it comes to meals, I prefer low cost.
@lostmoon77 it is not basically it's the same Stelia Solstys seats as the South Korean partner Asiana Airlines 아시아나 항공 🇰🇷. The way you tell TG Royal Silk class🇹🇭 Stelia Solstys from the Asiana version check your seat fabric this one has Purple light brown version the South Koreans OZ🇰🇷

Corruption will always hold one back.

very ugly seats for J-class. TG is the worst airline in the * Alliance partnership.
I’d argue there are some worse ones on there, AI, UA, CA, MS
No, definitely you haven't seen Avianca, Air Canada, Air India, Egyptair and United Airlines. Thai is much better than those.

@@AlanHarlow-z1p I would add AI too. UA isn’t half as bad as TG. TG’s B772s are an absolute disgrace in J.
It’s the state of decay of the seats - not the manufacturer
