Without the madness ECU the computer trims the throttle limiting the boost to about 16 psi. With it turned all the way up it tricks the cars computer allowing another 6 psi before trimming the throttle. The Syked custom tune removes the warning lights caused by a cat delete pipe, removed grille shutters and was remotely customized via data logs.
while reviewing the video footage i noticed that my AFR goes lean at times when boosting over 20. i may need to look at boosting my fuel system.

Your right about losing traction. You lose your load on the motor and the boost drops. I have a forge splitter diverter valve on my vw. And with the preload spring I can really control how the boost hits. 30 clicks of adjustment . $200 blow/diverter valve isn't cheap. But built in U.K. and the quality and fit and finish is top notch.
Nice bro. Looks clean. I'm doing the same thing to a vw 1.8t right now. Don't be jealous of my dozens of tuning options. Lol. Try some boostane octane booster to bring it up to 96-99 octane on hot summer days. Shit works great.

Darts are slow, but nice AEM air/fuel ratio gauge. I had put an AEM air/fuel gauge on my old 2012 Honda Trx450r, had the o2 sensor tig welded in the FMF mega bomb header. Then I made a custom mount for the gauge to mount between the fender.

Been holding up real well. I even had the GF driving it while I fixed her Tahoe. She had no issues and truly misses the 35 mpg she got with it.

Hey man on the right side of the car the cold air intake is there an air filter at the bottom of that?
I know this is a couple years old but how's it holding up? Was it worth it? And where to you get the thing that tricks the ecu into seeing lower boost?
Buy a proper tune.

You shouldn’t need the piggyback if the tuner knows what they’re doing.

I have a 2013 Dart with the 1.4 maunel transmission my problem is on real big hills the car wants to stall because the lack of power and that first gear is so low that you pretty much have to shift as soon as you take off does this kit help with this
This kit will not help much for that. the larger turbo does allow better exhaust flow but will most likely not help with your issue. It could be the hill assist holding the breaks as you go to take off. Try this, find a hill and get the car to "hang" when you release the brake peddle. you will notice a delay before the car starts to roll backwards. then practice taking off at the exact time the hill assist cancels so your not fighting the hill and the brakes.

Where can i find a bigger turbo for mine
U running bigger injectors? I have 550cc injectors that I wanna install but I'm not sure
Just the stock ones. I spoke with someone about injectors and they said that the stock injectors are at about 1/2 capacity at red line under boost so I left the stock ones in.
who did you say did the tune? and do u know off hand if he/they are familiar with tuning Bosch Motronic ME 7.5 on an Audi 1.8t big turbo..? thanks

You can do the turbo first. You'll see gains in the in the higher rpm range. It's all about that CFM. Then mod it from there.

That's on the breather return that normally feeds into the intake but I don't have that anymore so i just put a filter on it.

Not yet, Just got it out of storage and its running sooo good that I will have to get to a dyno this summer yet.

Its a limited. oh and by the way I have an appointment with a dyno on 7-2-18 so watch for that video shortly after!
So how much boost is “safe” for this engine?
The most I ever seen was 29.5 (surge) and 23.0 (held to red line) and my engine handles it fine so far.
I'd like to look into swapping with a 6 speed manual. I have an auto one.

Not at the moment. I have yet to get the Dart out of storage. I do have an Auto-X event on 7-8-18 so I plan on making another video. should be fun! I sold my house and I'm living in a hotel until my new house is built. That's why I have been so inactive with my vids. so bare with me for a bit and expect at least 1 more dart video and then I'll be making a home construction video after that.

You need a custom tune, not a box that gives false readings to the ECM. People sell these boost-foolers in the diesel world too and it's not the right way to fix your issue.
Monster RAM Agreed, I do have a custom tune in it as well. Just needed the boost fooled to keep my throttle from trimming when it sees too much boost. My guy is still working on the fix for it so this works for now. I would like a few more psi out of it though.
