My friend, when I needed some pointers for a Tunguska list you made a Tunguska List video. As I'm starting MO, you come out with a "beginner guide". I don't know if you are stalking me, but if so feel free to jump out of the bush (fully dressed please) so I can offer you a couple of beers for the amazing videos.
I agree with your most useful piece of advice. Build a list and play with it in most scenarios to understand its limitations. Then tweak it to suit missons and one's playstyle.
I think it's one I'd like to suggest the most. It takes some time to get to that ideal list, sure, but you know when you have it and it really helps you as a player
I'd argue that the KoTH NCO is an equivalent choice to the TIK. I also never ever leave without a Santiago KH. Put him in a Harris and watch hackers sweat. The combat jump version can be a terror, or a massive distraction.
I've recently started running a core of 3 cheap teutons and 2 KoJ (1 spitfire and 1 missile) and despite it being a lot of points it has done a lot of good work, everyone moving 6-2 just flows very nicely. With over half the list being HI the Evo bot with Fairy dust is also a good investment.
@@pkranger1997 I did in the past , but for a recent Armoury mission I ran a duo of montessa paramedic bikes in adition to that core, so the evo bot could cover them as well :)
Nice video! I ultimately went with Svalarheima after deciding between them and knights, but I will expand to knights at some point in the future. What is your opinion on Joan?
I'm a bit contrarian with her, but I like her as a gunner, preferably duod in mo, but a haris using her in a kh one replacing the third member could work. I don't do lt version personally
It's not got the AP of the tik, but assuming you're not up against another tag, the seraph can probably be used pretty similarly to a knight. It's got a gun, melee, and a specialist. I think it's perfectly runnable especially if you like the model
I am newer to MO so I am still going through the "standard" lists but why would you use the Teutonic Missile Launcher over the Black Friar Missile Launcher in your Core fireteam?
Great question. I personally like that it has 2 wounds and can always dodge on 17s even when shot through smoke. Its also got a stronger weapon. But msv2 and innate sixth sense is not a bad idea for a fireteam
I dodge with the fireteam when the odds don't look in my favour just to waste my opponents orders. Favour haris is tough since I like both the KH haris, bulleterr haris and a tuetonic haris
@@pkranger1997 Thank you for this. I feel people keep getting miss conceptions with various factions. MO is one of them, another Pan O one would be NCA where people are like it is just fire power. When I was forced to play NCA I ran it as a black ops force, lots of hexas some locusts and fusilers and does it very well, much to everyone else's horror.
I'm a massively filthy Casual, not a tourney player at all, so take my opinion with a massive grain of salt, but: i run MO as a Limited Insertion army with all knights, all the time. So far i win about every other Game with them, while having a blast shouting pseudo latin pdeudo religiuos nonsense at my opponent. The trick lies in making up for my poor Order efficiency by leveraging the toughness of having lots if w2+ lots of arm/bts on the field. Also teutonic Knights are ridiculous for their price. Basically Auto-include.
That is massively chonky and i love it. Pre rework, i used to run MSV2 OS (before the days of crosiers) 3 magisters and a tuetonic knight for a fireteam and i loved it. Some of my first wins with MO was with knight cores. I do think they work with that filthy girth but i dont want people thinking its like IA where we get amazing efficency all the time. If people can make knight fireteams work then they can and should run them!
Evening Ryann. As a new player to the game i like the look of Pan O, especially Military Orders. Would you recommend the action pack which were the contents of Operation Kaldstrom and expand to the full Military Orders set later after a few games plus the Treneterians and Teutonics?
I think thats a tricky question to answer. The operation kaldstrom/Pano action pack doesnt suit MO at all without heavy proxying. If your fine with that sure there can be good proxies in there and then move on to more MO stuff. However if you don' want to proxy then id try to grab the MO action pack, trinitarians and tuetonics eventually. The bots too. I have a whole video on my channel running down MO purchases. Other than that you could get the pano action pack and play svalharmia for vanilla.
@@pkranger1997 apologies I should have made the question a it more clear. Using the Kaldstrom based action pack, is that good way to start in Pan O? Before I collect MO which would be the idea when I know a lot more about the game. I figured the MO action pack plus like you say the Trenetarians and Teutonic Knights and probably the Knight of Montessa. If I recall correctly the action pack includes all the miniatures from the initial Kaldstrom starter set and the Beyond set.
I mean yeah the kaldstrom pack Is a good way to play pano. Just if your end goal is to play mo you can just jump in with mo but if you want yo go via vanilla or swf then it's a good start
Its big shame that PCMO lost their magister knights. I know there are upgraded teutons. But its only three of them🫡 It was so good that there were 5 of them. Its good counter for cheap crap like beasthunter , taiga, chimera or other piece of shit for not so much points .
It be really nice to have a cheaper warbandy unit. Peacemakers are too much and tuetonics too rare. ES could fit that role but thats a weird place for them to be

Some times, stuff just aligns like that. Hope you like warcrow and REMs, thats all im going to say !

For Ryan and the algorithm!
Never played infinity or even heard of it but this was an interesting video.
Give it a look. It's a great skirmish game
All this MO content of late is really making me want to get into them!
Not saying you absolutely should but i do have the guides if you want ;)

That is alot of bulk and speed. You could probably sneak in thr tinbot tuetonic to save the evo but damn those koj will be hard to take on.

That is so much HI, I love it
What is that TAG in the first picture of PanO? I don’t see it on the Infinity web store.
It will be the old tikbalang it has since been resculpted

I have been saying a lot of this for years, and no I am not an MO player.
A lot of this is something that needs said specifically to newer players.
