Hey JazzGuy! Another masterpiece video! Text narration superb! Lots of great info. I am a moderator for CaSeismograph EQ YT Channel so it was great to see LA. I have lots of internet friends from LA, Garden Grove, and Orange County, CA! Must have drink before movie!! lol Oh and, "Don't get me started on that last comment"... Haaaa..haaa... Wonderful Intro/Outro music as always! Till next, later, peace out... Ricky, Kentucky :)
Loved this, brought back memories of times I've flown that route after not being able to get direct flights into LAX from LHR/MAN for whatever reason. Loved looking out of the window at the changing landscapes too.
Great job as always, man!! Keep it up!!😀😀. I REALLY wish i could just spend all my time flying but can't 😓😓😓😓😓. Post-pandemic, would you be able to come back up to Canada?? It would be great to meet you!!
I love seeing the Piedmont Heritage plane in the beginning. It reminds me of flying Piedmont from Richmond to Florida, as a kid, when I visited my grandparents.
I agree, but unfortunately I believe this 737 no longer has the IFE screens and they removed them since this flight before the video was uploaded. My dad flew N958NN from LAX-ORD in October and it didn’t have IFE anymore
awesome vid mate! Love this 737 with PTVs, and also the extra info like taxes in the US! I thought the whole US will have one standardised tax rate. Learning something new everyday haha
Loved watching this video; brought back memories of my time studying in Santa Barbara, CA. I flew into LAX many times. There’s something special about coming in over the city at night. IFE looks like it’s a million times better than US domestic products were 10-15 years ago!
1:49 Impressive to see the A220 doing almost transcon routes! Have flown it twice with Delta (on just shorter hops), but would certainly fly it over 737/A320 families on longer routes!
Looks like a pretty good flight! Unfortunately I don’t think N959NN has the seatback IFE screens anymore. If I’m correct, I’m pretty sure in between this video and when you uploaded it, they removed the screens. I could only tell because in October my dad flew on N958NN from LAX-ORD and it no longer had the screens which I think was a Project Kodiak retrofit 737
How do you know all of this detail about where each plane was goin or coming back from and how late they were? Did you look it up on some website afterwards or did you know it at the time? Is this on some airport channel? Are you a pilot? LOL you know so much about planes... great video!
Another great video! This is a pretty good experience. Did you know that the Boeing 737-800 is my favorite airline model of all time? Have you been to any other California airports? I don't know if there are any videos from them. If there are, tell me and I will look them up.
I'll be taking a Spirit flight from Chicago to LA new Year's Eve. My friend is coming with me on the trip but on a different flight. My friend's flight is stopping over in Las Vegas first. 2 hours and change layover so not too bad but he is a bit nervous since he doesn't travel very often and never alone lol ... If you have any tips on what to do and not to I'll pass it along
@@thejazzguy13 You are welcome. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my comment. That was very kind of you. For me personally, I do not have a favorite flight on American Airlines. However, I enjoyed all of my lifetime experiences on American Airlines (except for that one minute on a flight I flew on as a child when the IFE screens displayed a blank screen and I was worried about a sudden jump scare popping up on the screen). They may not have been as luxurious as my experiences on JetBlue were, but they were mostly mostly delightful.
the flight is so quiet, I have never flown on a 737, mostly airbuses and 757, and 777s.. but I hope my flight from lax to Austin next month might be a 737
does anyone in LA/California know if we truly have to quarantine? i;ll be in los angeles for 2 days to attend a memorial in january. But i will be testing to go back home
Unfortunately between when this video was taken and now, I think they removed the IFE screens from this 737 and retrofit it. My dad flew N958NN from LAX-ORD and the screens were gone
keep in mind that a 727-200 or a 707 or even a Mad dog were much longer than a 737-800 but carried less people so you were not crammed in those airplanes like sardines in a 737-800 plus you got a full meal
STOP WITH THE SPOILERS! He made it more than obvious that he does not like spoilers, you still never learned your lesson from him removing the story highlights, so SHUT UP!!!
Hello ! yes that´s right. Why American Airlines had to change that fascinating old delivery? the new one has no sense at all to me. Is the simple flag. sorry for that. See you guys. !
It is getting exciting and I'm get ready to travel from Chicago, IL(ORD) to Los Angeles, CA(LAX) Today! Yes
My I just got off the plane from Pittsburgh to Chicago and ready for next flight down to LAX in Los Angeles and ready to catch the flight down to LAX.

Amazing video man!! Flying from Cleveland to Chicago to LA tomorrow! Cant wait to get out of the snow. Thanks for all the info!
Wow that's awesome you got one a the few AA 738's that still have IFE screens! Their older config like this is way better than the new configuration
I agree, but unfortunately I believe this 737 no longer has the IFE screens and they removed them since this flight before the video was uploaded. My dad flew N958NN from LAX-ORD in October and it didn’t have IFE anymore
We're on the airlines get ready to catch the flight down to LAX today.
Very cool! Thanks for the Video! Watching Airplanes Takeoff and Land is beautiful
Nice video man! Cool that i got here early
I Loved this, we're on the American Airlines to catch the flight down to LAX from Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA today.
This is awsome and fun to watch planes take off and land the destinations are always different
Chicago and Los Angeles are 2 great cities!

NYC
LA isnt great lol.
Both of those cities you have a risk of getting shot not trying to be mean but…yeah
@@Soggytacoes now you're making me nervous..literally bought the tickets last week for traveling alone to those cities.🥲
Loved the vid keep it up I’m flying with American to Orlando tomorrow!
Heard today, Southwest will be selling middle seats again after the 1st of the year.
Great video, I love your work.
i thought it was after march 30th?
Welcome Aboard to the California an we're moving here soon in California today.

@@thejazzguy13 No problem! Happy Holidays! 🌲🌲🎅🏻🎅🏻☃️☃️
I flew Delta Sacramento to Nashville to Atlanta over Thanksgiving..no crowds no traffic..40 people on each plane.
Dope man!!!! Good ol ohare to lax. Dope zach lavine jersey dude repoin chicago in the west
8:37 something on fire 🔥
I love how there is not even a reaction to the burning building at 8:36.
CHICAGO TO LAX! Nice Trip!
Thanks!
I flew AA 1021 which was a B737-800 from DFW-STL. The flight was smooth but the landing was rough. It didn't have individual IFE. It had the flipdown
Wow! I thought those flip down screens were long gone already
Great choice of flight
One of my favorite (and most flown) routes!

Awesome!! Like always :D
Probably doing this route next year!
Ah, the "clean air" you mentioned is a marine layer, not smog. You can tell by the vapor on the wings as you descended through the low clouds.
So what is that
Great job!
Thx!
@@thejazzguy13 no problem!
Any plans to try out the other la area airports like Burbank or Orange County
cool. I remember doing this flight on an American A321T
Excellent trip report. Hope you're still healthy now. I think it's really dangerous to fly without blocking the middle seats.

シカゴてユナイテッドのイメージが強いけど、アメリカンも結構居るんだな😳
I’ve flown during covid. Lol American is like hey you’re choosing to fly right now.. a lot of their flights operate at full capacity
Do you have a app that tells you the destination of the plain?
I have a question :) what causes you to do all this traveling???
i’m sad, i was gonna fly in about 2 weeks but we’re not going to anymore due to the virus. But anything to stay safe.😃
why?
@@ericrudni9809 She clearly said why
I've always wanted to fly to Chicago, the closest I've been to LA is the Ca-NV border.
I'd argue San Diego has better weather than LA. Both are beautiful though!
Also I want to include the fact that my favorite parts of your videos is filming other aircrafts and saying their destinations
I like flight aware. You get real time data on any flight.
How do you know all of this detail about where each plane was goin or coming back from and how late they were? Did you look it up on some website afterwards or did you know it at the time? Is this on some airport channel? Are you a pilot? LOL you know so much about planes... great video!
This flight time is kind of like the flight from Mexico City to Chicago, this a little longer. MEX-ORD is 3:30
Howdy, excellent review as always Chris! I’m glad to see AA are improving! Why do I have my suspicions you flew to Alaska?😸😻😸
hahaha where would you get that impression? 😉

Did you have a lot of turbulence on that flight? Nervous flier here going from Chi to LAX
more people are leaving Chicago and heading to its suburbs city is declining but the metro is growing
is jetblue safe to travel during covid 19?
Totally! They're one of the best...will have a few vids out on them in prob a month or so
So ready to get on a plane. I've haven't been on a plane since January 2019
How often do you experience turbulence?
Did anyone notice the fire off in the distance at 8:40 right after takeoff
yeah i was wondering the same thing
What kind of camera are you using ??

It should be cool to see a flight from London to Paris.
Theres always that one dude on a flight who gets up before the seatbelt sign is off 🤦♂️
Going out west sweet never been to ORD or LAX need to do it tho
Staunton VA is probably a EAS city as skywest does alot of that out of ORD
i used to live by turkeytown r u by there?
I’m going on American Airlines soon!!!
I think you’re either headed to WA, AK or Vancouver, Canada
Flight to KSDF, Lol my wife and I are great hosts and could show you around the city!
at least this plane wasn't the OASIS livery with terrible legroom and no IFE screens

What phone do you have?
great!
Maybe I'm a bit of a snob about this stuff, but I HATE the automated announcements on AA. Makes the FAs seem lazy!
The automated announcements assure all the FAA stuff is covered. I hate them too
I find it weird that AA has the automated announcements while DL and UA don’t have them
Yeah, I have a American Airline Ticket going headed to Los Angeles International Airport in LAX, CA from Chicago, IL!

what airbus??? a321????
next flight up i think is LAX to SEA on Alaska Airlines A321 special livery more to love!!!
