@@thenotorious5825 No incorrect. Perry played before the match began and AGAIN AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE MATCH.. So the thousands who came just to see Perry perform were forced to sit through 3 hours of a bunch of girls playing cricket if they wanted to see the rest of her performance.

Annoying public. She deserves more. She gave them an incredible performance, with good breath control and better beltings (even 6 months pregnant!) They didn't even sing for her when she asked. @@Edixim yes even when I was younger and I thought she was off tune she actually didn’t sound that bad now when I look back, but trust and believe she can sing look back at her gospel days and I saw her in concert in 2017 so the girl has pipes incredible singer, hopefully in the future she changes her style try’s different sounds and genre’s of music.

Even so the crowd here was a sell out but not all seats were taken presumably because some people were a bit anxious about the virus

But are you sure the majority didn't just come just to see the Katy Perry concert ? Unfortunately they had to suffer through the shear boredom of a 3 hour women's cricket match in the middle of the concert, lol.

But let's just say that if 80,000 people turned up to a game of Men playing netball, with the game being both preceded and followed by U2 in concert, I would strongly suspect that U2 had a lot to do with the size of the crowd.
@@dan_ariyaene_2005 Sure, for over 143 years, Men's cricket has been the biggest sport in the British commonwealth, just as your American mates would tell you that Men's Baseball is probably the biggest summer sport in the US. However, I'm sure they would also tell you that there's no way in hell over 80,000 people would turn up to watch a bunch of women playing that traditional men's sport unless it was book-ended by some huge singing superstar, such as Perry. Lady Gaga or Beyonce. Just like the cricket event, the organizers would similarly need to give away a 1/3 of the tickets and sell the rest for just $5 each just to get people into the stadium to watch it.
