Great video! Appreciated the analysis of Michele’s game in WaW- I don’t think I ever gave her much credit in her seasons, but with some perspective, she played a solid game with the cards she had
I feel exactly the same! After watching her first win at the time I was sort of confused how she won. But in watching analysis videos about her season later, I completely understood how she won. Having just rewatched WaW I was absolutely baffled how she got 0 votes. She deserves far more credit than she gets.
I’m pretty sure that Spencer got rid of Abby because too many players wanted to sit with her at the end while seeing him as a threat. Keith even said that to him after Abby was voted out.
So about Tasha and Spencer not keeping Abi, it is interesting to note that if Abi stays and one of those three goes, I think it’s likely kimmi still flips and Tasha/Spencer/Jeremy or whoever go out in the next few rounds and Wentworth likely wins (which I would love I will admit)
I laughed at Natalie Tenerelli in the thumbnail. I thought for a moment you were putting her in the top 10 zero vote finalists and was getting prepared to laugh my ass off at you trying to explain that absurdity. What a letdown.
Oh Dawn…I was thrilled to see her back in FvF 2, I had a small little place for in my heart on South Pacific. I was thrilled to see her do so well on FvF 2, but it was hard seeing people come for her at the end. She played a great game, and was strong. I was proud of her…
okay I was shocked that Sugar didn't get a vote because she was the narrator of the season, she was a great strategic player, and overall she was fun player to watch. Sugar should have got one vote because she was the best player out of the three but i guess Bob was overall nicer to the jury
Out of all the many returnee’s from Cook Islands, I’m surprised Becky has never been in the mix. Imo she’s the second best player on the season, next to obviously Yul, and I think she’d have a lot to bring to the table on a return. I’m not sure if she just wasn’t interested in returning or if production didn’t care to bring her back, either way she should absolutely be in consideration if they ever decide to pull that far back in the pool of players for a future returnee season.
I love what a Michele lover you are because I am exactly the same way. She's an incredible survivalist and I love watching how she just turns up when she's backed into a corner and finds a way out.
@@PatstarDeluxe Right?? It broke my heart in WaW when she was talking about how controversial her win was and how much hate she got because of her win "against people who *actually* played the game." I'm sorry, but if you win you played the game and played it hard. There isn't a single winner who didn't 100% deserve it to some degree. Besides Chris, which is a rant for another day lmao. But, in Michele's case, they all played hard and played different games, and the jury respected her game the most. Aubrey was the master strategist who was very respected but burned a lot of people, Tai was the merciless survivalist who had no respect from anyone and burned everyone but always seemed to be "in" with people even though he betrayed almost every alliance he was apart of, and Michele was the lone survivalist who was always on the outs and never really had anyone but always somehow managed to find a way to make it one more day and didn't burn anyone in the process and who wasn't very respected until the final tribal when she was able to fully explain her game and the hand she was dealt. Survivor editing just focused way too much on Aubrey and set her up as the winner too heavily, which is the case with all controversial winners (except one, and you know which one lmao)
@@reductosmash2483 Agree totally! Do you watch the Australian version? This year's is pretty damn good and well worth watching. And the challenges are, seriously, a billion times better than the current US ones

@@reductosmash2483 I've only seen 2 seasons before this current one. I would say watch this current season. It's more like old school US Survivor, where it's about sociability instead of intense strategising and it especially doesn't mess around with too many advantages. But just a good cast and good game play. Plus, I'm assuming you might be American (?), if so, will give you a great insight into Australians!
One of the most underrated 0 vote finalists in my opinion is Albert from South Pacific he convinced Brandon to give him his idol, helped convince Cochran to flip, and correctly predicted that Sophie was a threat and attempts to send her home over Rick. Had he not had a horrible final tribal, he definitely gets more than 0 votes
Honestly JT is still a good presence in HvV, but Game Changers, we won’t talk about that…. But either way, the problem with someone like JT or even Cochran is that there was no way they could follow up their wins with something better, which admittedly is why I am not upset Cochran never returned after his win!
I think that if Dreamz had spoken with as much conviction at FTC as he did the night Lisi got voted out, he at least would have gotten a few votes. Earl, imho had the best FTC in the first 14 seasons and certainly one of the best of all time.
My take is that the point of the game is to survive, and coming in 2nd or 3rd is inherently better than being the last member of the jury, even with no votes. Make it as far as you can, no matter what
I agree Survivor UA-camrs are the only ones I've seen that will try to argue 3rd place is similar to last place. I bet every person that was voted out wished they were in the finals.
Michele says she’s not a challenge beast but it turns out she is. She is in the top 20 players in challenges out of 626 ranked in a video I saw recently which gave contests ranking using a weighted statistical model that includes both team and individual challenge win stats as well as near wins in its formula. She is one of the best to ever play the game in challenges and she doesn’t even know it.
Im also so happy you put Dawn on this list. It really pisses me off the way she was treated by people like Brenda and Erik. I really thought she deserved votes, and that weird, bitter jury was hard to watch. It bothers me that Dawn was treated so badly for being emotional when she cant help that and no one said ANYTHING to her til FT. I will never be a fan of Brenda after she made her take her teeth out. It was childish and one of the most vile things Ive ever seen someone do out of unfounded revenge. It was even more wild to me how much the public supported that move. But I still LOVE Sherri putting Erik in his place, especially considering Erik was dragged just as far as her.
Glad that Dreamz is getting some respect for the game he played in Fiji. He was a smart player, always making sure he was in the majority and making moves to better his position to the end. Obviously he was up against Earl, so he didn’t really have a chance, but he played a great game, and I think he would do well in a modern season.
"Survivor is people. And if you fail to win over the people, you're gonna fail the win every time." This is what Russel Hantz and the people rallying for him need to hear and understand.
I just listened to yau man's interview on talking with t-bird. He denied that there was any plan from the other players to give away the truck to dreamz or to bargain with it.
The clickbait of Tai made me really hope he would be here as more than an honorable mention, although I do understand that he didn’t play that great of a game on 32. Although I do still love him
I want the source for many jurors we’re gonna vote for Dawn bruh cuz I remember I seen a ponderosa video and I remember they all said they wanted Eddie to win 😅
I think Amanda deserves to be on this list. Tod and Parv beat her with extremely good games and final tribal speeches. But if you remember going back to the beginning of the heroes tribe, the legacy of Amanda was that she was the queen of her archetype; a beautiful, smart, and LoYaL alliance member. She has a lot a impressive blindsides under her belt. And she was a member of one of the most notorious alliances the Black Widow Brigade in her second bout. And obviously for no other reason she deserves to be on this list because she was the first person to make it to final tribal council twice.
@@madelinemartin9363 I've always stood by the fact that Xander wins a season, just not the one he was on. Bit of a diss to Erika, but she was kind of carried by the fact that everyone wanted to crown a female winner . . .and she was the only woman at final 3.
@@rokeYouuer I could see Xander winning another season, but the jury didn't respect his game, thus he didn't win. to me, if you win you deserved the win no matter what, winning over the jury is the name of the game and the jury just liked erica better

If we look at all other JT's attempts without having Stephen attached at the hip I think it's obvious who did the strategic heavy lifting in that duo, IMO hes in like top3 of most underrated finalists.
I loved michelle in her second season. I genuinely could not believe she got zero votes. Don't get me wrong, I think tony played a great game, i definitely dont think he deserved as many votes as he got.
In my opinion the only reason Russell ever made it to the end in Heroes v Villians was because Samoa hadn't aired at the time. People hadn't seen what a disgusting toad he was at that point. Compare it to Redemption Island when the cast had seen Russell play and from day 1 his tribe were willing to do anything to get him out. I think he's the most over rated and one of the luckiest players to ever play the game
I'm sorry I still don't get the hype behind Xander LOL. He would not make the cut of best 0 vote finalists for me as I don't find his gameplay all that impressive and he lost against close to anyone in the merge due to his lack of social connections. But that's just me. Stephen, Spencer, Hannah are the easy top 3 of this category for me.
People that think he was robbed are wrong. He wouldn’t be on my list either. He’s not horrible. He’s likable, and had a good fake out moment, but that’s it. Xander wasn’t robbed.
personally, i would much prefer to go to the jury than get zero votes. only because im so self centered, getting zero votes would emotional destroy me and idk how i would recover
Great video! But I would put Angelina in this list! She might not have the most amazing gameplay out there, but i feel like her skills are something we all appreciated so much during the season. she didn't had the jury vote at the time, but she certainly got recognition for her out-of-the-box way of playing. she is one of those zero votes finalists we will remember for a long time
I watched the Xander aka smash smash sssaaammassh guy ad one of my first seasons and could not believe he didn’t win. He had a perfect play at tribal and had he messed even one move up his game is over!
I genuinely think gender and age are part of the reason why Dawn got 0 votes. If Dawn was Don and a father, people would rave about how great of a character he is and scream he was robbed.
I never watched Survivor but I like to watch those recaps. When you talk about contestants it would be better for that person to be in the picture when you say their name. From the footage you showed e.g. I didn't get who "Dreams" was supposed to be...
Final Juror have more chance to return, but with the game in the 'gotta go fast' speed nowadays, I prefer to lose with grace, I'd be like Katie in Palau FTC.
I really wished merit was used as a metric to bring people back. It's a shame Dreamz, Hannah, etc are one- time players while we have some two, three, & four -time players on the basis of what exactly?
Russell Hantz got robbed Twice!!! His game in Heroes vs Villians is impeccable. That season is top 3 survivor performances of all time!! Russell hantz should’ve won heroes vs villains.
I honestly have very little respect for Russell's game more because its not repeatable. The only reason he did so well in Heroes v. Villains was because nobody there had seen the previous season and nobody knew him. Maybe its stupid to judge it that way, but as soon as he played a season where he had true notoriety, he was voted out before he could even make a move. He's a proven conman and you can't win that way.
Yes and no…I mean, if people had seen his Samoa game then I agree things happen very differently on HvV. However, even outside of that, he did pull of the really ballsy move of convincing Tyson he was voting for Parv and then giving Parv the immunity necklace. Sure, Tyson probably wouldn’t have trusted him had he seen Samoa, but that alone is kind of epic, especially since the cast was told going into it that he was going to be one of the most notorious survivor villains of all time once his season aired. Semi agree with you, but gotta give the credit where it’s due in some ways.
Not to mention, it became increasingly obvious that the only reason he was allowed to even make the final three in HvV, was because everyone knew they could beat him. He thought he was dragging a goat to the end, when in actuality he was the goat the whole time.
I agree with him ending up a goat in HvV but still believe almost any other jury would have given him the money in Samoa. Sure, Natalie outperformed him at the social game but that's only one part of the game and I thought he was superior in all other categories. The jury is intended to vote for the best player and I thought he presented an unassailable argument in his favour at final tribal council... prior to Erik's speech I really thought he could win unanimously and he certainly won the audience vote by a landslide.
Spoilers... I don't really agree with Xander being on the list, considering he did nothing outside of winning two immunities and fake Liana out with her advantage, but it's your list. You do you man. Good video.
His downfall actually started when he shunned Tiffany and Evvie right before they got booted. If he tried to stick with them, and could have used his idol at F9 to take out Liana, then it's possible that he uses his extra vote to take out Shan with Erika, Evvie, and Heather, and probably Ricard, since the All Black alliance would all but be exposed here. In this scenario, Ricard probably goes at 7, Danny still goes at 6, I see Evvie going at 5, and if Xander makes Erika do fire and she loses, he has a better chance. In this scenario, he has Tiffany and Evvie's votes on lock, but Danny is a locked Deshawn vote, and Erika is a locked Heather vote. It's possible Xander gets Ricard's vote, but even if he gave a great final tribal, the only way he wins is if he gets Tiffany, Evvie, Ricard, and Naseer to vote for him to win.
Adam is one of my favorite winners and I hate how underrated he is, that people think he didn’t deserve it, but Hannah is one of the best zero-vote finalists ever. I agree.
7:24 russel played season 20 nearly perfectly, but he insulted the jury and didn’t own his game or admit that there was major luck involved in his game (this is true of everyone)

I will never understand the jury in W@W disrespecting the edge. It was a legitimate function in the game and Natalie was there from the beginning. Then when she came back in she did all she could to navigate getting to final jury. Vote your conscience, not to make a point.
Xander definitely burned his jury vote from Ricard after teasing him with the idol as if he were gonna use it to save him when he **obviously** had every intention of playing it for himself. It was unnecessary and just plain mean
Michelle WAW and Sugar come to mind for me . Michelle backs up her answers very well for me but the cast was always voting for Tony. Sugar bombed the final tribal and the cast never liked her.
Honestly, your videos are making me consider if Yau Man was actually all that as a person, I liked him a lot growing up but maybe you're right and he is very racist. His FTC looking back at it had lots of dogwhistles.
Was about to say no Michelle, next, but.............no room to show everyone's picture, Michelle----staple. Angelina would be ranked like worse than Christy in my books.
This video makes me mad because since about season 20 I have been saying that they should go back to a final 2 because the third place person get zero votes way too often Also I am still mad that Gabler won and isn't eligible to be on this list. But for him to be on this list he would have had to done enough to make this list, which I don't think he did.
I think Romeo from 42 should get an honorable mention. He was instrumental in Maryanne’s plan to take out Omar and won the final immunity challenge, which led to the fire making showdown between Jonathan and Mike.
Angelina has to be #1, she got rice for the WHOLE tribe, climbed a cliff and oh yeah, also took negotiation classes from Stanford

So about Tasha and Spencer not keeping Abi, it is interesting to note that if Abi stays and one of those three goes, I think it’s likely kimmi still flips and Tasha/Spencer/Jeremy or whoever go out in the next few rounds and Wentworth likely wins (which I would love I will admit)
xander is just sheer criminally underrated
This is the last Wednesday of no Survivor for spring 2023
Here’s to 44 being good!
@@olivermensinger6022 God I hope so
I laughed at Natalie Tenerelli in the thumbnail.
I was proud of her…
It was so sad the way people hated on her
okay I was shocked that Sugar didn't get a vote because she was the narrator of the season, she was a great strategic player, and overall she was fun player to watch. Sugar should have got one vote because she was the best player out of the three but i guess Bob was overall nicer to the jury
The problem with Sugar's game was that she never necessarily had a strategy or plan behind her gameplay. She just did wtf she wanted lol
IKRRRR I think Becky is very underrated
I love what a Michele lover you are because I am exactly the same way. She's an incredible survivalist and I love watching how she just turns up when she's backed into a corner and finds a way out.
Her kicking down (literally) her puzzle both times are among my favourite moments on Survivor! She deserves far more credit than she gets.
@@PatstarDeluxe I haven't! I've watched a few videos that touched on some of the best moments (I don't remember anything specific, but I remember one crazy comeback in a challenge, one crazy vote, and one incredible final tribal performance). I take it you recommend it? Would you suggest starting at season 1 or are there specific seasons you want to highlight?
Nah it wasn't his FTC that did him in, it was his schmoozing for jury votes that made him come off as sleazy.
Amazing how tight these final 4s are. I bet that if David wins final 4 immunity in MGvX, we might list Adam here
I had David as my early winner pick after 2 episodes.
Personally, I dont think Adam did anything to warant a win
I maintain that my beloved Stephen was robbed! He didn’t stand a chance against JT’s charm (which appears in hindsight to have been a one hit wonder)
Best line ever: just like Soylent Green, Survivor is people. 😂
4:04 thats not praising, that was a backhanded compliment LMFAO
That jury hated Micks guts LMAOOO
Bitter
Although you don't hear it here, at 12:57 the "yeah, I did it" with the music drop is just one of my favourite moments in Survivor ever!
Fire Vid as Always Peridiam 🔥🔥
Sugar was the best 0 vote finalist. She controlled the whole game
She literally did and just said fuck it im over it and all of you people at ftc
Glad that Dreamz is getting some respect for the game he played in Fiji. He was a smart player, always making sure he was in the majority and making moves to better his position to the end. Obviously he was up against Earl, so he didn’t really have a chance, but he played a great game, and I think he would do well in a modern season.
"Survivor is people. And if you fail to win over the people, you're gonna fail the win every time."
This is what Russel Hantz and the people rallying for him need to hear and understand.
That Sherri bait and switch... You had me ahaha
Amanda is not a zero vote finalist though. She got votes both times
Thank you for posting the video.
My top 5 in no particular order would be Tai, Michele, Stephen, Spencer, & Xander
My list is the same, while I would almost squeeze dawn in there, I just think Cochran was too dominant
kick Xander out add Becky and its perfect
@@madelinemartin9363 I've always stood by the fact that Xander wins a season, just not the one he was on. Bit of a diss to Erika, but she was kind of carried by the fact that everyone wanted to crown a female winner . . .and she was the only woman at final 3.
@@rokeYouuer I could see Xander winning another season, but the jury didn't respect his game, thus he didn't win. to me, if you win you deserved the win no matter what, winning over the jury is the name of the game and the jury just liked erica better
@@madelinemartin9363 Xander only lost because of racism and sexism. "social awareness" was a made up term, it means being a white male after the year 2020. No matter what Xander did, they were not going to vote for a white male. Erica got handed the biggest advantage in history with the hourglass twist, she did nothing to earn that.
Justice for Hannah
Dreamz had a super good game when I look back at it
If we look at all other JT's attempts without having Stephen attached at the hip I think it's obvious who did the strategic heavy lifting in that duo, IMO hes in like top3 of most underrated finalists.
Unexpected soylent green reference! Love the recent content.
I loved michelle in her second season. I genuinely could not believe she got zero votes. Don't get me wrong, I think tony played a great game, i definitely dont think he deserved as many votes as he got.
I still think Owen from 43 with a different jury had a chance. A scrappy underdog with some clutch immunities
Perfect list! I would perhaps just move dreamz up, but the 11 are *chefs kiss*
If there is one truth in this world, it is that a Peridiam top 10 will always actually be a top 11.
personally, i would much prefer to go to the jury than get zero votes. only because im so self centered, getting zero votes would emotional destroy me and idk how i would recover
Did you just drop a soylent green reference! 🔥🔥
This video makes me want of survivor full of people who never got their torch snuffed either finalist or pulled from game ( OBVIOUSLY EXCLUDE DAN)
Great video! But I would put Angelina in this list! She might not have the most amazing gameplay out there, but i feel like her skills are something we all appreciated so much during the season. she didn't had the jury vote at the time, but she certainly got recognition for her out-of-the-box way of playing. she is one of those zero votes finalists we will remember for a long time
Well she will be remembered since all the straight guys in the fandom love her and how she looks... 😂
I'm quite surprised that Xander didn't get any votes.
I thought I heard a rumour that the jury wasn’t even allowed to vote for Sash, because he bribed Jane to vote for him or something?
You made me nervous by putting Natalie from season 22 in the thumbnail Ngl lol
That would make a great April fools joke.
Woww mine would be a radically different list...I'd pick -
10) Noura (Island of the Idols)
9) Owen (Survivor 43)
8) Becky (Cook Islands)
7) Tai (Kaoh Rong)
6) Hannah (MvGx)
5) Russel (HvV)
4) Angelina (DvG)
3) Owen (Survivor 43)
2) Stephen (Tocantins)
1) Spencer (Cambodia)
You have owen twice
I really wished merit was used as a metric to bring people back. It's a shame Dreamz, Hannah, etc are one- time players while we have some two, three, & four -time players on the basis of what exactly?
Cochran, Dawn, and Sherri are all such underrated players
i know you didn’t just say Cochran is an underrated player lmao
Cochran is overrated not underrated
So are we all agreeing that Carolyn should be added to the list next?
Welcome to Carolyn taking Xanders spot
Russell Hantz got robbed Twice!!! His game in Heroes vs Villians is impeccable. That season is top 3 survivor performances of all time!! Russell hantz should’ve won heroes vs villains.
I think I rather get voted out and wonder what could have been rather than make it to the end and get 0 votes
You make more money as a finalist.
@@rokeYouuer I don't care about that if your 0 volt finalists that means you suck just like Romeo and Xander
@@rokeYouuer jury members are more likely to get asked back tho.. gotta think long term esp if you like playing the game.
Sandra literally said her biggest strategic goal was to get Russell out…
You should do a video on who’s had the most incorrect votes. I know it would be a lot of data but I feel it could be interesting
I'm pretty sure it's Eddie from Caramoan with 8 or 9, I forget exactly
I honestly have very little respect for Russell's game more because its not repeatable. The only reason he did so well in Heroes v. Villains was because nobody there had seen the previous season and nobody knew him. Maybe its stupid to judge it that way, but as soon as he played a season where he had true notoriety, he was voted out before he could even make a move. He's a proven conman and you can't win that way.
I agree
Sash is an underrated villain it is just he is overshadowed by Russell.
Everyone you mentioned were absolutely perfect to be on this list EXCEPT Michelle like be serious 😭
Spoilers...
I don't really agree with Xander being on the list, considering he did nothing outside of winning two immunities and fake Liana out with her advantage, but it's your list. You do you man. Good video.
He was just very likable, I thinks that’s a big part of a player
@@davidwagner5583 that’s true. He was and is a nice guy, which does help.
@@totaldramatyler4484 yep. It also doesn’t help that he almost gave up Evvie for an idol (almost, but still).
I could understand him being maybe #9 or 10 but he's way too high up, especially when he had no agency at all
not seen the entire video yet but Hannah should be AT LEAST in the top 2
Adam is one of my favorite winners and I hate how underrated he is, that people think he didn’t deserve it, but Hannah is one of the best zero-vote finalists ever. I agree.
This is Sugar and Angelina erasure!! My queens 😔
Sugar not being mentioned is a #choice
If you think about it dreamz played a game that was wayyy ahead of its time and how allot of good players are playing today.
His social game was trash tho Earl would probably win a modern jury too
GAH RAVEN WALTON JUMPSCARE
Continuing his Charlie Brown story, Charlie Brown didnt even make it to this list.
People shit on dreams because he took the fan favorite Yao out of the game and we're all bitter Betty's because we all wanted Yao to win

Dreamz played an amazing game; he just wasn't very articulate.
NYC has dog cafés now, so Eddie might’ve been onto something
I kind of wish you HAD put Sherri actually
Michele and Russell are 1 and 2. Excited to see who 3-10 are!
Michelle WAW and Sugar come to mind for me . Michelle backs up her answers very well for me but the cast was always voting for Tony. Sugar bombed the final tribal and the cast never liked her.
As a Fiji fan, I think Dreamz and Cassandra are both underrated as players.
1. Russell s20
2. Michelle s40
3. Sugar s17
4. Spencer s31
Honestly, your videos are making me consider if Yau Man was actually all that as a person, I liked him a lot growing up but maybe you're right and he is very racist. His FTC looking back at it had lots of dogwhistles.
Spencer is number 1 for me. I understand why Jeremy won, but as a viewer my vote was for Spencer
Actually maybe Michelle, I’m baffled that Natalie got votes and Michelle got 0
@@davidwagner5583 the jury loved and respected her game, but they didn’t want to spread the votes too thin and get Nat to win over Tony. I think.
Well, Carolyn is now No.1
Was about to say no Michelle, next, but.............no room to show everyone's picture, Michelle----staple. Angelina would be ranked like worse than Christy in my books.
This video makes me mad because since about season 20 I have been saying that they should go back to a final 2 because the third place person get zero votes way too often
Also I am still mad that Gabler won and isn't eligible to be on this list.
