- Quarterback Thomas Castellanos burst on the scene at Boston College and became somewhat of a sensation. The dual threat quarterback drew comparisons to Michael Vick from some people, as he was incredibly dangerous both as a runner and a passer. He threw for 2,146 yards and 15 touchdowns while also running for a team-high 911 yards and 11 touchdowns. Thomas Castellanos had a number of stupendous highlights during the 2023 regular season, and you can watch them all right here!

A pretty good baller v ACC defenses. Elite Sec defenses, that remains to be seen. I hope Gus can give him that opportunity. And hopefully the new dc can teach him what the keys are in these modern div 1 defenses as he runs one. Fuller didn’t.

November 16,2024 1315PM 15 minutes before BC plays SMU and earlier this week Bill O'Brien (BOB) Football Coach at Boston College delivers the biggest slap in the face ever by Div 1 Football coach to his player.... TC brought excitement and life into a football program that was floundering.. It was God-awful. TC starts the 2024 season after having been the MVP of the Fenway Bowl last December against SMU....... The same SMU that BC is playing today. TC's stats in 2023 and 2024 speak to his ability. But O'Brien is not happy and decides to bench TC before the 2024 contest with SMU. Today.
TC decides earlier this week to enter the Transfer Portal. Thinking about this and watching BC for years and years I feel BOB's decision stung TC. I've seen this before with BC (across all their sports programs) Let it be known that at BC you are only as good as your last performance. If you fail to measure up BC is very good at discarding athletes. Very Good. I can personally attest to that. I am very sorry for what happened to TC at BC. And I am also sorry for the many that I saw before TC that were administered some of the same "discipline". Rather than work with a young athlete or forgive a young athlete BC consistently elects to discipline and impose their institutional will. Let's see whether BOB made the right decision today? BC vs SMU starts in 30 seconds.
I fear that Thomas was the reason we’ve lost a decent amount of games love him or hate him at some point you gotta admit he was a problem especially after these last 2 games, making James Grayson the starter was the move.
