- Elvis Presley recorded "Suspicious Minds" along with at least another two hit singles-"In the Ghetto" and "Kentucky Rain"-in the so-called "Memphis sessions" of January 1969. He first performed the song at the Las Vegas Hilton on July 31, 1969, and the 45 rpm single was released in the fall.
My favorite Elvis' song ... great !

Love your playing, as to who played on the real record, that is an argument and a fight all rolled in one. The great Carol Kaye claims it as her work but admits so do 4 others! I do not know the other 4.
don't even know who Carol Kaye is but it is a well known fact that the version that made it into "From Elvis in Memphis" had Mike Leech playing bass

I can play the bass to Kentucky Rain, Gentle on my Mind, We Can Make the Morning, 20 Days and 20 Nights, It's Only Love, And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind, and The Next Step Is Love. I'm currently waiting for a web cam so I can upload all the Elvis tabs I know.

I do have a question, and I hope you can help me, or anyone else out there (sorry if someone think it is a stupid question) but how do you make your video ??? do you go over your PA with your bass and how about the video, how do you get your sound so clean, question is simply: how do you set up the gear ???

@infusion26 the song track would that just be any CD i have or do you use track from youtube ? so if i get this right, i pluck in my bass into my mixer, the CD player with song into the mixer aswell, and all this stright into my camera, and of i go ?
