I really like the way this bass sounds.
And me too :)
:D Datz Right!!! :D
These Yamaha BB series basses are incredible!
@@infusion26 Keep the dream alive Bro! Never give up, maybe one day the sound will come up and.....
One of the greatest bass lines ever.
I’m a blues and rock bassist and I have to agree that this is possibly one of the most recognizable bass lines ever. And it’s damn fun to play, too.
The best
The greatest
Truth
and the bass line from beat it is also awesome 👍👍👍👍,,,mark
It's amazing how he is one of the first few bass players on UA-cam! Started on 2007!!!
You know when a guy has it hanging down at his knees he can't play!
yeah, and he's still active, what a legend
Simple bass line, but try playing it for five minutes straight. It hurts!
Same.
Corina Mendoza yeah!
Same here!
i just started learning the bass a few weeks ago
My poor fingers :'^l
This bass has such a good tone to it
I started playing the bass at age 50, I am 54, and I love seeing your col videos. Thx
One of the reasons why I love bass guitar
Bass is the backbone of the entire band. You can scrape by with a bad guitarist. There's no way to scrape by with a bad bassist.
This video prove that not only guitarists can be awesome, but bassists too
this was real smooth, not choppy like most covers I've seen of this song. good job brother.
Just want to say thanks! I began playing bass two years ago (at 51) and am getting quite good at it. Your covers have been an invaluable tool in helping me to improve my skills. From a very grateful subscriber!
Awesome!
RIP The King!
There are so many great bass players in the world and I love them all :))
Easily the most famous bass line of all time.
Let's just say it shares good company with many others. Very cool.
+Lucas Patterson Another One Bites the Dust
Luke Leon Hysteria by Muse.
the most famous must be Another One Bites the Dust- Queen.
Muse? Next to MJ and Queen? Neither I or any person that I know has ever listened to Muse. But even my grandma knows Billie Jean.
Muse may be a great band, I have no idea; but in term of popularity, it's hard to top Billie Jean.
Very well-played by a bassist that I'm sure plays all sorts of genres of music on many different guitars. Bravo!!
finally somebody who really knows how to play it!!!
xels bayts yet he doesn't, it's played on 2 and 4 and the F#'s are played on both octaves
and yet plays it wrong
@@duranmclemore8392 If you listen closely, you'll hear that the lower octave on that F# is actually played by a synth bass, and not the bass guitar. Although it's kind of difficult to detect unless you have quite good headphones so it can often sound like one instrument. Although having the bass player play both octaves there just seems unnecessarily difficult for a studio recording of a pop song don't ya think?
I think it was this video some time back, that helped me learn how to play this song. Thanks dude. You are an awesome bass player.
I used play these basslines for finger exercise literally.
atlast here i am here , thanks to google..! never felt content with MJ bass covers until this moment..Great.. feeling to hear all your covers..!
That bass line tho! And love it to see this guy playing that bass line!
what a masterpiece work.
This is the best cover I've ever heard!

Really good! Getting a bass soon and just checking out some songs I know with bass parts. So thankyou for adding another song for me to learn in the near future :)
Awesome video!!!!! Nothing like a sound of BASS....especcially in the talented hands.
That is some clean playing!
Thank you for posting. You're what makes UA-cam great.
LOVE IT!
Me too :D
Perfect
Muito maneiro...Show de bola!!!!!!
Infusion, I am a bread baker by trade...Always wanted to play 6 strings, But because of 25 yrs. of punching dough, I can't. You are making me realize, by my having subscribed to your channel, that 4 strings are possible for me to play, and the fact holds true that the bass is the actual BACKBONE of a song...Cheers to you sir...
Well done. I like that you are playing it mid-neck for the sound's sake. Keep up the good work!!!
te best cover i ever seen !
you nailed it! and so did I on my 6-strilng
VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!! PERFECT!

Nice sound, pretty smooth playing, well done !
🎀 cool I love the bass great job man🎀
AWESOME DUDE
you're my favorite bassist !
love.it
lbc murphy. his bass is "so high" because he is a serious bass player and not a poser. the clue is his name "infusion".and his clean playing. most, almost all the world's best e-bassists are trained, disciplined fusion/jazz/funk/soul musicians, and they all have it up high, where it can be played clean, left and right hands, rather than dangling down by your knees for visuals, made popular in the 70's by the world's all time worst bass player, Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols. SO. DUDE! it was cliche and old already when whatisname of Nirvana did it in the 90's. make yer choice lad. Pose, or PLAY! Jaco Pastorious, almost all the truly great bassists play it up high.
Greetings Marktarmannpiano I do agree with you about the position of the bass as worn by many players. I observe that a majority of mainly rock type bassists wear the instrument practically round their ankles. Im not sure wether its just for posing or a measure of their skills or abilities. However what I do know is as a lifelong lover and player of bass guitars in various bands including rock though mostly soul funk and reggae I believe to fully be at one with an execution of the scales and to incorporate techniques such as slapping, hammerons, pulloffs, slurs, slides,as well as the occasional bass chords and comfortable pick use its much easier if your plucking is done with a slight bend at the elbow. This position furthermore allows a comfortable view of the fretboard especially for those who are wishing to really bond with the full range of the fretboard. For a few examples watch victor wooten, stanley clarke, or any of the featured bass guitar tutorials here on Utube. that said.... Flea of the Red hot chilli peppers is a phenomenal player who generally hangs his bass quite low.
Playing position is entirely up to individual preference. The main thing is to enjoy the pleasure of this wonderful and fulfilling instrument. Wether your just sat in your bedroom dreaming of success one day or out there in a big stadium
Have fun.... BLESSINGS...
Flea had to do it that way. for the pose.
Chili Peppers are a very visual sell, between the singer's singing, the silly lyrics, and the minimal sound.
I hardly ever sit down and "just listen" to them. Just tune in once in a blue moon for a dose of fun poppy wierd funky beach dude drugger stuff.
I'll bet in the studio he's got it way up high for the "hard parts".
Greetings marktarmannpiano hey youve got the chillis well sussed. I couldnt agree with you more. In case you havent noticed but it proves our point Flea is now featured doing bass guitar tutorials on utube and guess where he wears the bass throughout....practically under his chin....Blessings....
seaga Beckford Bsc hons by your use of the word "sussed" and your 10 am reply i am guessing you are in England. I am in Germany, an expat Yank.
Are you having problems accessing youtube?
I can only get to my messages by first
