"Better Caul Saul" and "Breaking Bad" are both amazing, but I wouldn't say you could enjoy those shows by only watching them once. One reason why I like "Breaking Bad" and 'Better Call Saul" is because they take the time to establish a story, but in away where exciting bits kept you interested in-between story breaks. "Breaking Bad" did this a bit better then "Better Call Saul" which is why I like "Breaking Bad" better.
@@trisha7976 yes, you need to give it a little time 4-5 episodes and you'll find yourself glued to the masterful storytelling and twists. You'll for sure connect with main characters in a deep way. After season 1 there's no going back from it. Though the series' peaks from 3rd season till the end. There's definitely a strong reason why 9/10 people loved the show globally.
I couldn’t get into better call Saul. Loved breaking bad. I thought Saul was a great character and was interested in learning more about him. But the show was just so sad.
I never got into Lost but i really enjoyed The Leftovers. I was kind of bummed it was cancelled so quick. Friends and Seinfeld are always my go to shows. They never get old. Ive never really been into animation. The Simpsons and South Park are my go to when it comes to animation. Twin Peaks was addicting.😊
I think the ending of The Leftovers is fantastic so I wouldn't say it got cancelled. It just ended properly, I don't want the series to overstay it's welcome
My heart still pines for The Twilight Zone. I strongly recommend also Rod Serling's Night Gallery as well. The latter has many art paintings that portray stories.

Oz? Surprised it didn't make the list, considering it was the series that introduced so many to HBO and cable TV. Even before Sopranos and Breaking Bad, it laid the ground work for great drama TV that pushed so many envelopes. From first episode to last, tackling so many taboo subjects...kept us glued to the TV.
@@charlestonchewy Don't think that would be the case of Game of Thrones wouldn't be there either. I mean the first couple of seasons had tons of sex and full on nudity. But I get what you're saying. Shows like Sopranos and Breaking Bad showed horrific violence, gore, body mutilations...but somehow a few naughty bits are way worse to the FCC and western society. Hilarious.

Totally agreed. GOT was groundbreaking in its time. It was a spectacle. I only regret that my first experience waiting forever for a season to drop was the wait for s8. I discovered/finally gave into watching GOT in October 2017 I think it was. Finished it in February. Then s8 happened and I lost interest after that. And now we have House of the Dragon which is getting me back into it.

I watched the first 5 seasons of Lost in like 2 months, early in 2010. I actually enjoyed it that way. I didn't have to wait week to week or for the offseason to end. Plus I didn't get caught up in the "season x wasn't as good" cause I would lose track of which season I was in. It was all one big season and then the final season to me. I plan to watch it again eventually.

I mean there were theories about being in limbo for years before the end, only to confirm that yes flashsideways were in fact limbo. So it was a bit cheap. But a show like Lost would never answer any question so why would a finale do it?

The original Twilight Zone will ALWAYS BE my favorite classic! Every iteration since has tried to capture the lightning in the bottle that Rod Serling perfected and they simply do not measure up. I think they're driven by the thrill and suspense, but Serling's insight into the human condition was the main reason why the series was so relatable and still resonates today. It's the modern parables of our folly.

Honestly I think its overrated I don't understand why it's so highly regarded I just started season 4 and it feels so slow and uneventful some may argue but the characters feel unrelatable unlike the characters in breaking bad this is just my opinion I just wonder what makes it so highly regarded to others
MASH and The West Wing absolutely should be on this list, as well as Firefly, BTVS, and All in the Family. Not every great show began after the turn of the Millennium.
No direction, no objective. To wrap it up, they just put everybody in jail. Because otherwise, nothing would have changed, the next season would've been the same as the last, endlessly to infinity.

I wanna add Boardwalk Empire. Recently binge all episodes, it's great. In my opinion it's HBO's most underrated show ever, if anyone haven't seen it, highly recommend it. It has some of the best villain performance in TV history

I just don't get it! WatchMojo have never been shy about making their love for Seinfeld (AND Curb) known. I'm pretty sure Seinfeld has topped their lists of the best sitcoms of all time on multiple occasions, so this just baffles me.
I've got to say that on top of my list of must see TV series is Buffy. It had everything, comedy, drama, fantasy, sci-fi, action, supernatural... On top of that, some of the must see episodes, The Body, Silence, Once More, With Feeling... And the symbolism, the demons and other supernatural encounters were all natural symbols of what every teen goes through. It was just plain awesome.
They didnt mention that The Simpsons released an album called "The Simpons Sing The Blues" and some of these songs even reached #1 on Top Of The Pops and The Chart Show.
“Ted Lasso” should be on this list. It really is required watching for the World. The kindness and gentleness portrayed in that show is exactly what the world needs right now.
Well Done Watch Mojo for mentioning Better Call Saul along with Breaking Bad. I consider them equal and actually, one big long show. Both deserved to top this list.

“Monk” should 100% be on this list in my opinion. About a mentally challenged former police detective, Adrian Monk dedicates his life to solving his wife’s murder. This is the only show I have ever watched from beginning to end, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it.
He wasn't Mentally challenged having ocd does not mean he is mentally challenged it's a disability which is complete different and it is something he can easily get rid of because it was brought on by his wife death he didn't have it until then unlike being mentally challenged which is something you are born with
Then you should try Prison Break, that will keep you at the edge of your seat from the beginning. Weird, the amount of praises BB was getting, when i first tried i couldn't get into it, it was dry and slow. Then gave it another chance, it got better towards the end of season 1, and was just getting better and better. Now my top 5 favorite tv series ever.
I refused to watch Buffy, The Vampire Slayer on TV because I had seen the movie and was very unimpressed, but then my daughter said, “Dad! You HAVE to watch it!” I did, and it has been my favorite show ever since.
Even the TV show was nothing worth writing home about (although maybe because I strongly dislike Sarah Michelle Gellar, somehow. This started since Cruel Intentions and I want to keep my dislike intact). She is truly terrible!

For me band of brothers has to be higher, not only is it an amazing show, it’s more that that, it changes you when you watch it, and it’s something everyone needs to see to understand what the greatest generation sacrificed for us to be able to live the lives we want today. And there stories and sacrifices should never be forgotten.
Lost didn't fumble of it's ending, only people who say this are the ones who didn't get the ending and think there were dead the whole time which isn't true, Don't let people avoid to watch this all timer show.

I finished breaking bad, currently watching Peaky blinders but find it too slow at times and bit boring, the trilling moments seem to be tye action, but I want a good story with crime/ suspense....do u have any recommendations??

I just don't get it! WatchMojo have never been shy about making their love for Seinfeld (AND Curb) known. I'm pretty sure Seinfeld has topped their lists of the best sitcoms of all time on multiple occasions, so this just baffles me.
I've got to say that on top of my list of must see TV series is Buffy. It had everything, comedy, drama, fantasy, sci-fi, action, supernatural... On top of that, some of the must see episodes, The Body, Silence, Once More, With Feeling... And the symbolism, the demons and other supernatural encounters were all natural symbols of what every teen goes through. It was just plain awesome.
Sons Of Anarchy and The Walking Dead need to be on the list.

“Monk” should 100% be on this list in my opinion. About a mentally challenged former police detective, Adrian Monk dedicates his life to solving his wife’s murder. This is the only show I have ever watched from beginning to end, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it.

Weird, the amount of praises BB was getting, when i first tried i couldn't get into it, it was dry and slow. Then gave it another chance, it got better towards the end of season 1, and was just getting better and better. Now my top 5 favorite tv series ever.

I think Adventure Time deserves more praise. The narrative was compelling and pretty intricately crafted. it was also deeply thoughtful in the themes in explored.
