Those two are more emotionally mature than most of the people I know.
Watching these two talk and reminisce about their lives together makes me happy. I was lucky enough to have a close friendship like theirs with my best friend until he unexpectedly passed away 3 years 7 months ago. I’m thankful that Korone & Okayu has allowed us to share in their friendship and bond via Hololive. I know personally it’s helped me gets through sad days and helped me cherish the 20+ years we had growing up together even more.

I always thought the whole "getting into fights just means you're good friends" was weird. I think the better way to look at it is "Just because you argue, doesn't necessarily mean you aren't good friends."
It's not really about just getting into a fight but the fact that you're able to fix your relationship after a fight. Being able to be close friends again after a fight shows that you're close enough to want to fix your mistakes and disagreements to be friends again.
I also always thought it was weird, too. Another one that's weird is the idea that older brothers always bully younger brothers. I have an older brother who I'm super close with. I don't think we've ever had an argument, and he certainly never bullied me at all when I was young.

One thing I tend to notice about friends that never fight is that if it ever happens, it is way worse than a normal fight and can split people apart for real.

I dunno how true it is that fighting is a sign of friendship. The closes my best friend and I have ever gotten to fighting at all was when we had an argument over whether heating or cooling the car would get rid of the condensation on the windshield.

i feel like when it comes to seeing things objectively and being mature, japanese people seem to be pretty well grounded at handling situations like an arguement and who was in the right/wrong.
not really describing this well at all, but if felt like i was in the right, went home tolf family and they said i was at fault "depending on the context at least" id probably just be mad, i dont know maybe its just me and im just very immature or petty for my age lol
1:07 small editing suggestion. the color-coded subtitles work really well, but when someone is quoting someone else like this it would be good if the quotation marks were the color of the actual speaker. so like here okayu is quoting korone, so you could have brown text surrounded by purple quotation marks.

After hearing this story... Korone sounds mildly borderline. A little obsessive / possessive, emotionally over-reactive, engages in physical activity as a form of therapy... glad she talks it out with her family though. When someone like her is left to stew in their thoughts it usually doesn't go well, like when she said she wrapped herself in her futon and tried to focus on sleeping.
