Kim Sejeong is literally one of the most underrated artists in whole kpop, she’s a multitalented idol with a really high vocal range, you should check her kdramas too!!! ❤
True. Especially as a singer. She truly underated. Which is sad she more know as an actress especially after Business Proposal and Uncanny Counter, but not as well know as a singer because let face it, she that talented. Don't get me wrong, I love her acting but I also hope she got more recognition she deserves as a singer

She's called God Sejeong for a reason! I mean, that's her Official title in Korea, because she always finished #1 in a competition, and she's known for being physically strong like a man.😅She's not only a great actress and a fantastic singer, she writes and compose her songs. Voyage, If We Do, and Top or Cliff is from her latest album, DOOR. It's a really diverse album, and she wrote 11/11 songs and composed 9 out of 11. It's hard to describe her, because this woman can do everything, literally, and one of the most down to Earth Idol I've seen.

In the last 3 years she has achieved outstanding success as a performer in theater, musical theater, 4 kdramas as FL, an album and an international solo tour, earning awards and popularity for her quality, hard work, charm, kindness and humility. And she is at her best singing live, her versatile voice and emotional delivery are amazing
Yeah, the MV for Top or Cliff is quite.... bloody, which is the reason for the warning. But I understand why the Performance Video was chosen instead. 1st: No musical interruptions during the MV, which you guys knowingly hate 2nd: the elegance of the Choreography make this video still worth watching.

You missed the fun fact that she was nicknamed God Sejeong after continuously getting only first and second place in the idol competition show Produce 101. She’s also an amazing actress, I suggest you check out her dramas and some of the osts she’s done for them as well!!

You need to watch the MTV of Top or Cliff, and you'll find out how bloody that can get. Love that MTV, too, with her acting.
Sejeong used to be poor and dreamed to be an idol. She participated in produce 101 and ranked 2 making a debut in i.o.i (which was a huge group at the time ( chungha and somi were also in the group )). After her re-debut her group didn't do well so she went into acting where she had alot of success and has become one of the top actresses in korea. While im happy for her i cant help but be sad that she dosent have more success with music considering she is literally one of the best vocalist in kpop (and im not just saying that to praise her, as a singer she is up there with ailee and hyolyn)
Finally she participates in the production of her songs.
I love these reaction videos to soloists. I hope you also try some of Chungha's music soon.
If you prefer Kim Sejeongs darker songs I would recommend Meet again from the uncanny counter soundtrack. Probybly my favourite song by her.

Her top song in Korea is Flower Way, a ballad song. It’s her first song debuting as solo artist. People started to use the word “Flower Way (꽃길)“ a lot after she released the song.
A shame that you didn't watch the MV for Top or cliff, the warning was for that, but you avoided the pause in the MV that way, I guess 😂

When I saw the warning from the sponsor, I thought you would play the MV version of top or cliff instead of the dance version. When you watch the MV version, you will naturally understand why the warning is required!
Kimsejeong is not only a professional actor, variety show host, musical actor, and former girl group member, but also a tier 1 Korean SOLO female singer. She is the first KPOP female singer (including girl group) to win the first place in music awards during the same period. Well done both from a vocal technique standpoint and from a song interpretation standpoint. If possible, I hope you will continue to comment on Jin Shizheng's covers and live stages.
