I don't know how related this is but I thought it might help:
From a supercell post in 2019, they said that the Lava Hound was also a dragon, even though it didn't have dragon in the name, so I understand why you included it. I also had an idea for a troop called the Storm Dragon, which would shapeshift into one of the 4 types of dragons when played (at the same level). It would be a legendary and cost 5 elixir
i would say 4v elexar because the type of dragon would be unprotectable and can pull out a bad dragon for what is needed but that is a good idea ngl love the name too

Years ago when inferno dragon first came out my buddy was able to get all the way through royal arena with like 5 or 10 losses. Just because no one knew how to effectively counter it.

My Deck: Gob drill, valk, hunter, ice wizard, fireball, The log, bomb tower, electro spirit/ skeleton
U can take either skele or eSpirit as they both can be handy in specific type of matchup but I like skele as they are more viabable. I know my deck is off meta but it is the best!

The reason why lava hounds are so expensive is because the only way to have more lava hounds, is to have some lava pups alive at the end of the game. Because of how rare that is, lava hounds are an endangered species.
So join the cause! All you have to do is to have a lava hound push at the end of the game, and eventually.... Boom! Lava hounds are back to 5 elixir. (Just don't do it too much, or else their prey: "the cannon" will turn into 6 elixir)
