The stinking golden figures. Cortana, Atriox, and Locke are very hard to get figures and they really doubled down on giving us gold versions rather than just giving us the actual figures.

I really like this set, and it has some really good fig that I’m glad we are getting! Getting rhe shipmaster and Johnson are awesome, and the goofy character of mister chief is great to see as an official fig! The gold figs are obviously the worst figs, which sucks because the arbiter and atriox is pretty nice! Great video and keep up the awesome content!
Mister chief is the personal joke character invented by frank o'connor, a 343 higher-up that made strange comments that people of status lower than him would've definitely gotten in trouble for but he didn't.
In addition, Mister chief was used in a halo 5 warzone ad campaign that made fun of players that had issues with that game mode using pay to win and gambling mechanics.
I personally dislike that figure because it has nothing to do with the halo universe and is something that unlike its perception as a "meme" by some members of the community was made to appear significant not by said community but artificially, top-down by the corporation.
I don't personally fault anyone at MEGA for any of that, my guess is that they saw a character that 343 industries frequently used and saw it as a mere opportunity to make a light-hearted product but didn't look further into it.
Wasnt Mister Chief originally made by a Bungie Employee who tried to draw cover art for Halo 2/3? (cant remember which one)
I think the gold figures should only have gold armour, then regular body pieces and things. Like the 10th Anniversary blind bags, where all the figures had gold weapons but were otherwise normal
Love the list! Although imo the gold figures are way less desirable so the last 5 would take their place. But just to add, your Rtas Vadam figure seems to still have the rubber band on his helmet. Idk why but in this set they really wanted his helmet secure lol
The helmet on the fig is incredibly loose so that's probably why, I just superglue mine on lmao
RTAS is definitely the best fig in the set, I think fold Locke is definitely the worst in the set, and I like Linda better than Mickey though.
I am a little hesitant on getting this set because the only figure I really want is Rtas. Hopefully they release him elsewhere and I definitely agree with your ranking
I really need to get this set so many awesome figures and love the noble team members down to Johnson and chief and odsts , thankfully it’s 40$ something on Amazon now :)
Red team campaign dlc for infinite would be awesome but unfortunately now is really not the time to be hoping for campaign stuff from 343…
I still can't afford the set at this time, but Mickey is the only character I need for Alpha Nine. I also don't have Dare's helmet, so that'd be nice to get when I eventually get this set.
I have never played halo 1 or 2 but the moment I saw rtas Vadum he immediately became one of my favorite characters. Also he had his iconic on the blood of our fathers speech which makes me want join the covenant😅
That speech is definitely one of the highlights of the campaign story. Halo 1 & 2 are well worth a play through if you can keep an open mind about how old they.

Also Mister Chief succkksss, should of been last. Gave his blue assault rifle to my custom made Spartan, the pieces aren't custom just mixed and matched MEGA Spartan pieces

I have three boxes of this set and yet watched the review from start to finish. Great review and spot on concept for review. Completely agree on "golden" figures, a different shade of gold and transparency level should have been selected. It seems like material for golden figures was done in a rush. Thanks for review.

I loved this set only paid $30 for mine when it 1st came out 😅 but I like the gold figs yeah it would to have been nice to get better/more characters but the gold ones are cool for displaying
Every gold figure would be great (I think) for like a build of some place with a statue of tribute. like in a park theres a golden Master Chief on a large concrete block.
I got the anniversary pack for Xmas. Crazy prices, however I do have them all packed away in ziplock bags awaiting a space to display them

in my opinion micheal mickey caesparo is the best 1, if u get muscle upper arm x2 it’ll look like a new odst that prefers hand to hand combat than using a gun( minus pistol)

To be honest I completely agree with you rating but for me cause master chief played such a big role in my childhood and I like halo 4 a lot (don’t judge me to much) I would rank him a bit higher

I think my least favorite was Rtas. Not the worst but as much as I love to have an official figure of him, it was a huge disappointment as well. Mega just refuses to get H2 and H3 Elites right. They gave him some weird mix of armor that doesn't look right, and the helmet is super squished.
Definitely a miss for his first official figure, and in a 20th anniversary pack no less. They could've at least gotten the leg and torso armor right.
I think I'd have had Dale's figure much higher on the list, but those gold figures are ass. Normal colouring would have been preferable.

I was ecstatic to get the Prophet of Regret because it finally allowed me to complete the holy trinity of prophets. Now I just need a way of making 3 hover chairs for them.

Banana Cortana is the worst in my mind. She looks absolutely awful. Rtas is my #1 now and Jerome is a close second with Johnson taking #3. Mickey was my #1 for a bit but he's been remade now so Rtas is the exclusive right now and really well done.

Probably won't see this, but 343 just got gutted due to lay offs. They never had DLC in the pipes for Infinite, and probably never will (a lot of the gutting was the campaign team). If new games are to come out, I think they'll be through other groups with consent of 343. I'd look into it if you want better info. That hit me pretty hard.
Anywho, only wanted to say that when you brought up Red Team DLC.
I'm hoping what has happened at 343 will be a good thing for the future of Halo. Time will tell.
