theres a really underrated joke in my favourite scene, the scene with ianto and the hockey stick. in a prior episode, Sleeper I think, Jack mentions something about being 'great at hockey' in the bedroom, which, knowing Jack, is a euphemism for something.. sexual. An episode or couple episodes later, ianto appears with a hockey stick to help kill the other glove, which Jack gives him a sort of confused 'why do you have *that* look, and ianto's response answers the theory of where the hockey stick is from, cause Torchwood doesn't casually have hockey sticks lying around. Its Jack's hockey stick.. which ianto was carrying and gave *the look* as if to say 'get your mind out of the gutter' I love the little side glance so much. It's always been my favourite scene for this reason.
Hold on, where is "Landlines, telephones, tin cans with bits of string, nothing! No phones, none at all. Hello? Anyone there? No. Cause the PHONES aren't working." From Sleeper? I'm paraphrasing but you get it.

As much as I LOVED Rose and Donna, Amy... Jack was the best companion that really did deserve his own show, I just wish they didn't do it the way they did, the Children of Earth season sucked to me and I know I'm not the only 1, I mean we could have had more seasons with the entire team than we did and that season could've been the end after a few seasons, not 2 seasons, kill 2 and then do what they did and I would have loved it if there were more cross overs with the 10th Doctor than the 1 in Doctor Who but not in Torchwood, they all deserved to know the Doctor
I searched and searched for an answer for this and I genuinely don't know. My best guess is it's from a deleted scene that never made it into an episode, sorry I can't be more specific.
