SUGAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!❤❤ What makes Haikyuu a really great anime anime is the way they show each character. The way Asahi stood while shouting (SUGAAAAAAA) to give him a toss- palms fisted, with body hunched forward, eyes closed and mouth open wide. It shows how much courage, how much strength he needed to call for the toss again. Flashbacks represents his team mates helping him get up from this huge fall he had, but even so, even after all this help, final push has to come from within. And it should not be that easy. Thats why he is standing in that uneasy pose, as if forcing himself out of that abyss. It wasnt a call for the toss when shouted SUGAAAAAAAA, it was his resolve that he isnt gonna back down no matter what it takes.. It wasnt his power that blasted the defence, it was his conviction. Damn! This anime really hits you in the heart. Looking forward for more
Asahi is such a great character. He might not be one of the flashier players that get lots of attention but he is good and his struggle is very relatable. I think all people get performance anxiety and it’s hard when you’ve dug a hole for yourself (thankfully Noya and Suga are there to help him). Can’t wait for you guys to see his growth along with the whole team! ❤❤❤ Also Asahi has the same VA as Reiner fr AOT - Yoshimasa Hosoya
The suga scream always give me chill. I didn't cry the first time I watched it but maybe I've seen it for at least 15x now and my tear duct is getting weaker 😂
Takeda sensei is the best, and yes, our boys is getting back together!!😚 Their story, their coming back together, everything about these boys holds special place to my heart. My karasuno babies😭🤍

this is the best part about haikyuu. every moment feels so /earned/ if that makes sense. for example, if you just say out loud the reasons why asahi didn't wanna wanna play at first, they might seem quite shallow but with the entire context and build up, everything just becomes so justified and deep as if he was a real human being with real feelings and experiences. it's definitely a feel good anime that makes you feel all fuzzy inside but with everything tying together like such, you can't help but feel emotional. i think i've said this before so i'm sorry if i sound like a broken record, but haikyuu revolves around built hype. with context and with attachment to the characters, you can't help but feel drawn. i'm so happy you guys are liking it! i've never met anyone that actually gave haikyuu a chance and didn't end up absolutely loving it. can't wait for your next reactions! you guys really make me wish i could just watch things for the first time again :

This team of characters at Karasuno are SO incredible. Everyone has a unique personality and I can tell they’re just going to make each other stronger and become better versions of themselves. It‘s taken great care to be realistic both mentally & physically. Can already see how hype this show is going to get🔥🍣
Daichi is my fav character. Underrated but the best leader out there for sure. He is the one with most like "I don't want to be the best but I want my team to be the best."
As a English lerner, It was interesting to read "Date" spelled the same way as the date used in calendars. Japanese distinguishes pronunciation by hiragana, which is pronounced literally, but how does English distinguish pronunciation when the spelling is the same?

Really good to see you guys enjoying Haikyuu that much. This is by far one of my favorite animes, every episode is a confort to the heart and almost eveytime I wanted to cry with joy. And what I can say is that this is only the beginning, there is still a lot to happening in this amazing show.
Its called libre-ro its common the librero is short because it’s easier to dive for them than being tall thats why libreros are short in most of the volleyball teams

To clarify, what Noya said about himself not being able to attack/spike was not because of him being short but because of his position as the libero, who isn't allowed to spike (loved the pun though!
