didn't expect a two way polyrhythm to sound that good! nicely done!
wow - super impressive and really beautiful too!
This NEEDS to be a song
beautiful voicing
I'm deeply unsatisfied with how this video ended
Same
agreed
Asoon as you put it together it hits you like damn
Congratulations on taking a super heady idea and making it actually sound beautiful!
Great job
YES! I had the exact same idea but applied to polyphonic Improvisation.
Great Video. Thank you.
really cool idea man thanks!
But the 3 is really 9+10+9 right?
Cool stuff here
Beautiful bro! I just subscribed.
MORE!
wow subbed, will make sounds similar to sounds i just heard
I've been playing, enjoying, learning, and composing for 22 years...my hands don't do that, man. Haha! Do you happen to have a transcription of this in pdf, by any chance (including that badass opening scale run?)?
cool.
a guitarist goddamn youre the don
Absolutely amazing playing! Quick question though, if you derive the 16th and triplets from your 7 beats and therefore create 4 (respectively 3 with the triplets) equal beats over the 7 wouldn't it be called 4 over 7 ( 3 over 7) , I know its the same thing in a way but in my headspace would 7 over 4 would be grouping 7tuplets in 4 over to create 7 equal beats over 4. The result is the same but the way how to get there different if its halfway understandable what im writing here :D
Cheers anyway you sound great ! :)
good
I'm crying
THIS IS AMAZING! Good job with the tough rhythym . You look like Henry Cavill, BTW.
Naa he looks more like Richard Madden
Mind if I steal this and make it into a song
shut up! no way this is so cool!
Please tell me you have tabs for this. This is way beyond my comprehension but I've been obsessing over this ever since i heard it
the notes that play 7 times are an F and a D. the note that plays 4 times is a G. the note that plays 3 times is a Eb.
so the chord would be:
e: 10th fret
b: 6th fret
G: 8th fret
D: x
A: 10th fret
E: x
and for the second part you just shift the whole thing down 3 frets
amazing kisses
Finally I found you, is that you
The guy from guitar mastery?
yupppp
@@HoraceBray you’re amazing
Noo why did you stop I need mooreee
Bumblefoot did somwthinf like this
Ok really....Wow I just ended up here because I'm composing (Which as a 15 year old with minimal music knowledge, I'm not very good at) And I just kinda ended up putting a septuplet in a piano peice and I was wondering if I could use a polyrhythm that sounded good but mmmm... no.
My small peepee brain can't handle this
You have 10000 iq bro....
Sounds like some animals as leaders stuff
for some reason I've always naturally played like this because I would follow our crazy drummer who would just play in polyrhythms and we're a modern emo band. just never thought of it on paper.
wow bro thats crazy pplease tell me more about your modern emo band. thats amazing, all attention on you. thats what you want right? some attention. heres my attention. you must be so fulfilled now
