I was most sympathetic towards Travis. He spent 6 years of his life trying to help his family, and not once did they ever return the favor. 6 years of hunting for Silas. 6 years of using his authority as a sheriff to cover for them. The only interactions we get between them are them ridiculing him, verbally abusing him, or just telling him what to do.
LITERALLY i’ve always thought that. he’s so loyal to his family. keeping two teens literally imprisoned because he didn’t know what else to do, just to protect his family. did all that for them to blame everything on him.
Again, why the hell did they cut these scenes? Theynadd more flavor to the overall game. They just need a bit more of a finish to them, and then it.makes the characters more likeable. Like with Ryan and Chris conversation.
pacing, maybe. but between this and the cut ryan content, i get the feeling they wanted to make the story more laura-centric even if it was at the expense of everyone else
unfortunately i dont know nearly enough about tdpa to tell if there are any scenes exclusive to their release version. the deleted scenes i have access to are from version 1.0 (meaning they were in the game when it first released and later removed).
if you have a physical copy of the game on console you already have it and can just uninstall & reinstall, then cancel updates to play that version. im not sure if it's accessible through pc or not, though.

They did just lose Kaylee, so it makes sense they'd be angry with him. I cant blame them.
