Even now after having listened to this song over 100 times my eyes still get moist, simply by listening to this song and thinking about the game. : )
A visual novel is exactly what it name states. Its basically a first person novel with pictures as the background. They often have background music, and many characters are voiced, however, i have yet to hear a single main character voice. They can vary from 3 hours to more than 50, depending on how in depth it is. It is also interactive, so you can change the outcome of the story. The Key visual novels have plenty of paths, so they take a long time. I hope this helped.

Little Busters is my favorite VN of all time, above Clannad and Rewrite for me, the story is amazing, each and every character is lovable and you become attached to them, it really was Jun Maeda's Masterpiece as he calls it, it was the last game he headed before he retired from the writing team (he only does music now like he did for Rewrite) I loved Rewrite, Clannad, Kanon, and Air too, but they didn't manage to hit me as hard as Little Busters did though that's just my opinion

little busters have some amazing tracks. to name a few, there are "song for friends", "faraway" and "clear weather after the rain".
Also "Little melody" and "Tomoshibi (aka Lamplight)" is also worth mentioning. Beautiful soundtrack...

Yeah, most of their visual novels are 18+, but then have all-ages versions made. Little Busters Ecstasy is the 18+ version though, not the original.
